No. I meant from welcome letter to I.L. cos everyone I had seen, from welcome letter to I.L has not exceeded 1yr. Well at least since the time of Obama. And so far, till now. My mum recently called NVC to find out what's up, and to ask questions on how things are done. I also got my case completed in September, but cos I had another baby, we had to include also to the case. She asked them to explain better what they mean by cases expiring after 1yr when its still at NVC. They told her once a case is complete and already in line for an interview, it doesn't expire. It is when a case is still with the owners and not complete before a period of 1yr passes, they will start the case afresh with fresh payments.

@oladeep, there is this pdf I downloaded on the operation of the immigrant numerical control system. There is a particular paragraph that explains how the piority date system works it states that for example, if the monthly target is 3000 applicants and the demand is 8000 applicants, they would establish a cut off date so that only 3000numbers would be allocated. So the cutoff would be the piority date of the 3001st applicant. I guessthis explains why you havent received your IL. Hang in there, u will definitely receive your IL EARLY next month.

As for F1 category I just hope it starts moving fast soon, from January till date it hasn't even moved up to a month, it's heartbreaking.

My first son is 5 and the other is 2, if the V.O's do ask the kids questions sometimes, especially the older kids, I no fear @ all. My little man is capable by his grace. I concluded my medicals last week at Qlife. I paid N78125 including the immunization. Although the last shot of one of the vaccines which should be taken in a month's time wasn't included in the bill. They will advise you to take the last shot elsewhere but if u desire to come back to them for it, then u have to pay about 19k.
I went twice and waisted my flight and accommodation because the radiographer who was to take my chest x-ray didn't come to work because of family emergency and there was no one to deputize. My second visit to Lagos last weekend was Smooth as I had my x-ray in less than 10minutes.The result comes out in 10 working days.
My sister and her kids had theirs in Abuja and the result came out in 3 working days. Her kids paid less than 40k each whereas she paid 82k.
When I called the children's practice prior to my medicals at q-life, they told me 82k excluding immunization.

Hi guys, its been a while. Wanted to give a little update, I waited for 3 weeks to get my SSN but it didn't come through so I went to their office to apply again. You can verify the address they have of you at the port of entry so you would be sure they have the right address to mail your social security number to.

As regards medicals, if you dont have immunisation records they would charge you for that depending on the hospital its mandatory.

I know its a long wait, but just be a patience my people it would all be worth it. As per career you can start looking at what you would like to do while you wait. For me I switched to I.T and it payed off cos its in high demand here so put that in mind while you wait.

Ha! My own case is different. I have 3boys. The older is 5+, while the younger is 2+ and the 3rd is a few months. My first and 2nd are always at it. The younger will sometimes look for trouble, but the older gives it to him, and let's him know, boy! I am the boss. Am older than you, so sit your butt in one place. Am always bothered, cos I don't want them to fight and drag for stuff all the time, but ppl say boys will be boys, that they will out grow it with time. The older one most times likes to Bully his younger brother, and for that he gets an ass whooping. Most time I flog, I shout and they behave. Thanking God the Holiday is over. Its been a long 2weeks " I think you need to keep setting them straight. Letting the younger one know the older is boss, so that he will have respect for him, So it doesn't get out of hand in the future.

It pays to be Nice. The poster above me should take a chill pill and try to see the good in people. Everything doesn't have to be about black or white. God made us in his own image. This is someone trying to help another in need.

Even me I don't have immunization records. I've misplaced that of my 2boys. Its only their baby brothers own I have now, cos he's a few months Old.
But my friend told me its not a big deal if you don't have immunization records.

You don't go for medicals when your case becomes current. You go for medicals when you Receive your I.L, because the hospital will require from you, Passport photographs, Your international Passport, Your I.L and your immunization records.

Hi Seun9090./once you have received your interview letter, the instructions will be given to you on how to go about your medicals. The hospital to Use are written there. There are 2 hospitals for immigrants residing in Lagos and 1 hospital for Abuja residents. The 2/hospitals for Lagosians are The Children's practice and Q Life Clinic. Immediately you receive your interview letter, you should go for ur medicals, so that your results will be ready before your interview, so as not to cause any form of delay. Hope this helps.

Yes ooo. Its a total of 10yrs for me. My first petition took 3yrs before we received the denial from them, then my moms petition which has taken 7yrs now.

Children's practice said theirs was 100k for adult children 80k. Q life varied with ages. I asked how much is adult of age 33yrs they said N78,125, children ages 6yrs N67625, 2-3yrs N83225, while infants N73,400. So there's a difference. Call them and confirm before making a decision on where to use. Cos the 2 are listed as the hospitals to Use. During my mums time back then I think the hospital was Kamoras

Yes I know. I feel that way too sometimes. It seems when a person is on the verge of a breakthrough, the frustration sets in. Most times when I feel bad, my mum calms me down. It is well. Just hang in there.
