As an RN, you're at a far better advantage of getting COS without paying, because, I mean you're a qualified nurse. All you have to do is take your IELTS Academic & study hard to score the NMC required band 7. Then register & take CBT exam, pass it & start applying for registered nurse positions on NHS. You'd be surprised at how many hospitals that would be willing not just to offer you COS but to sponsor your relocation to the UK.

Go to Allison, Florence and one other called careacedemy or so. You need to study hard o. Cos no be child's play aswell. Because u will have to do Test at the end of every 4module . With a pass in 4 module. U can use that certificate to apply for these carework but u will pay a fee depending on which one u use to learn from. I think fee ranges from 10 to 53$ . But the issue there is. To get cos now, no be by say u apply fmto 1k application o. It's all about money though. With money. U would get ur cos sef when ur docs are not yet complete. That's the truth state of things now. But u must get all your complete docs ready b4 applying for visa.

And you don't need to adopt the children, you no fit do that without their father's consent. Your partner fit dey talk say the man took off, but him fit dey somewhere where he is unable to exercise parental rights such as in prison, long-term ill, or maybe na even she take off dey dodge the man (not to cast doubt on what she told you, but these things happen). Either way, his consent for adoption is needed. He should be traceable through his family/origins (village, for instance), who/which she must reasonably know if they were together long enough to produce 3 children, unless say na Tinubu him be.

There's something called the blended family concept whereby your marriage to/partnership with her is sufficient for immigration purposes without you needing to adopt the children as your own.

Thanks for your response.Someone have advised me that the best thing to do is for her to get Full custody of the kids from Court,when that is done,she can then include their names among her dependents without their names being changed to mine(new husband) and Uk embassy will still grant us visa.Saying that embassy will not mind if their surname is different from mine,for the fact that She have full custody of the kids from Court.Meanwhile,she still bear her family surname in her documents.Though,we planned to do Traditional marriage and Court wedding soon before applying for the visa.What do you have to say in this case please?

Thanks for your response.The age of the kids are 14,12 and 8 presently.two of them are in secondary school, while one is in primary school,in this case,if we get admission for them in uk secondary and primary school respectively will Uk embassy grant them student visa without minding these their age?

She has to apply through Magistrate Court or a High Court. She can also consult a marriage lawyer to put her through the process .

I know you may not say it but there’s a scent of “arranged marriage” in this narrative. Let’s look at the facts.
1. Does she have sole custody of the kids legally? I understand that her spouse has been away for 7 years but has she secured the legal (not implied o) rights to their “sole custody”
2. If Yes is the answer to above question, then she is fine to include them and her new husband as her dependants. If the answer is No, then she’ll need the consent of their father before she can apply for their visas or travel with them.
3. You can go ahead with the marriage and seek to adopt the kids but I don’t know if that erases the moral and legal authority of their biological father; I doubt. His consent would still be required. Other gurus can fault me if I was speculative…
4. Do the kids have NIN already? I’m sure they already have birth certificates currently, why try to issue another one for them?
This was why I said there’s a fragnance of “arranged marriage” in all of this.
In summary, I think the mother should seek legal advice on how to obtain sole custody for her children since the father is non-existent at best…

Adopting, changing their names, and getting new documents is a lot of hurdle and money..

But note that new birth certificates from NPC somtimes raise a redflag from UKVI....which may ripple back to their old ceetifocate...


If it were me oooo....i no go adopt person pickin oooooo....especially if the nigga is not dead...

I would let her get concent letter from their father to travel with the three kids and legal sole custody document......their old birth certificates can fly without issues together with an NPC issued copied

If u wanna marry her before travelling thats fine...if not, no biggie....Which ever way u wanna role...just be ready to provide proof that ur marriage is not arranged for the travel and u have been together for 2 years or more prior to the marriage....sometimes they ask...sometimes they dont

The truth is that those denials have no bearing or effect on this HCW visa application but not disclosing them amounts to dishonesty and misrepresentation…so they must disclose them. I think they can write the year and try to guess the month (as long as they disclose the denials; accuracy of dates shouldn’t be an issue).
However, to help them get the actual US visa denial date, they can go a search of the email they used for the visa application, US Consulate/CGI would’ve sent a mail to confirm interview date…that can help them to be as close as possible to actual date…but it isn’t a problem. As long as they disclose that they’d been denied visas before, that is sufficient…

P.S: They can use the schegen biometric date for the France visa denial…

Sounds like £25k gross annual. Somewhat lower than the national average but also around the graduate pay range and very liveable.

It's impossible for anyone to tell you whether it's good enough or not - that depends on your qualifications/experience and your plans. Either way, you should definitely be aiming to find a better job. You can start applying to better jobs with your qualifications, or you can decide to stay a while, get the experience and and aim for something higher in the same customer service field.

As to care - again it depends on you. I've heard that people can make a lot more than that but it depends on if you're willing to do it. If it's something you'd like to do, sure go for it. In fact I'd even say maybe take on a shift or two and then decide if you want to continue. Should not be difficult to get an agency to sign you up.

My wife also resumed same role with Lloyd’s bank sometime in September, and a good number of those that joined with her left for better roles before the end of their 10 weeks training. She just started NYSC before we left Nigeria, so she practically has no serious experience. The plan is for her to gain some experience before she starts applying to other places. I would say it all depends on what you plan to do in the long run. But if you have immediate financial obligations you feel care jobs can settle quicker, you can go that route as well.

1. There is no harm in uploading the CoS as a dependant, as long as your application is a dependant application and you have uploaded documents linking you and main applicant (marriage certificate), it should be alright.

2. You can use MA's account as long as there is enough money to cover for both of you (and other dependants) in the account

Anyways...u shuld send an email to the test provider british council...they will ask u to write a hand written letter and scan it to them or send it by dhl... u pay the fee and they will will tell u a date to go get it ikoyi....

IELTS results IN NIGERIA will be ready in 3-5 days is pure LIES.

Try to take the exam at least two weeks/ 1 month before the date you intend to use it, the Nigeria IELTS testing service can't meet up , they will surely disappoint you.

I nearly missed a scholarship because of them, I had to take a second different IELTS test which gave me result within 48hours.

Also guys, IELTS/TOEFL is not the only option mostly when going to institutions where English is not their first language like Japan, Korea, Germany and so on. You could try using Duolingo(48$) or online English testing service EF SET(free of charge 0$)

Your wife should apply using the name on her international passport which I assume is her maiden name, she doesn’t necessarily have to bear your surname to prove you both are married
