Your school offers January admission for BSc Adult Nursing. Ask your school if it will still run in Jan 2021 as things has changed due to COVID.

However, before you make any decision, wait till July. Nigeria visa offices are still closed so there is no need to make any decision in a worry.

They will also most likely give extension for visa applications.

Hello everyone! I have testimony to share. I am a HND graduate. I thought I can’t apply for direct masters degree, so decided to apply for a year top up degree at University of Sunderland (which I was given conditional offer).

Two weeks later something came into my mind that I should be able to apply for masters degree program because of my significant years of work experience. Later that day someone mentioned Sheffield Hallam University on this thread. I googled the institution and found out that they can accept HND as long as you have significant work experience in that field. I applied for MSC Accounting and Finance (Although I first checked their modules to be sure it’s what will add value to my career) on their website and was given Unconditional offer letter to study in their university (MSc Accounting and finance Jan 2021 session).

I also read about the University’s alumni reviews about the institution online and saw that 90% were positive news.

In addition, you need to take it one step at a time...have a success mindset and go for the best option that meets your target at this time.
Don't forget, you would be eligible for the 1st batch of PGWP'21...so at least you have 2 years to look for a job. However there are other route to Tier -2 such as the graduate entrepreneurship or the start-up visa option. You can even get enough experience to qualify for the talent visa, if applicable and get the 5-year visa.. there are many opportunities right now ..so don't start putting the cart before the horse...

yes, it is good to have plans and options on hand..but just like when building a house, plans change based on different reason..the most important thing at the end, is that the house is finally built.. hope you get what you are looking for... at the end of the tunnel..

I am a married woman with kids so my husband and I planned that he would apply for dependant visa with the kids by March. Unfortunately due to the lock down, they couldn’t get the biometrics done and the worst happened,����my hubby died from covid 19 related disease last week.My life shattered but I have to keep moving���

I am planing to return to Nigeria to get the kids for biometrics but my heart bleeds for my husband after all his sacrifices . I am considering applying for his mum so she can help with the kids while I run around. Please, how can I go about this?? There’s enough fund to cover her maintenance fee.

Secondly, if your kids have grown,I will also suggest that u take them to any of your good relation,then as soon as you are done with ur study and secure ur Tier 2 visa by getting a job there in UK u can then bring ur kids over to join you.why I said so is that it may not be easy for you to take care of them over there while studying.pls plan very well.I wish u the very best.

Don’t play yourself. Take time out to google the meaning of FCC( five country conference) High Value Data sharing (HVDS). If you lie in your application, remember you still have to provide your biometrics? Bingo! That is why it is advisable for anyone that is interested in studying in the U.K. to read through the previous threads as this has already been discussed. It is called the Point Based system for this reason - meet the requirements, get your visa.

Bros trust me,that US denied u visa in 2016 is never a factor In getting ur UK student visa, except there is a serious issue behind ur denial. a lot of people in this thread got their UK student visa, even though they were denied visa by many countries. pls go ahead with ur UK student visa application if u are ready pls.but don't be in a hurry to pay ur deposit, let see exactly what is happening in UK educational sector. I have outlined the 5C’s already all u need to do is to be able to explain each one with an example.

One of the major qualities of a nurse is caring. You need to give examples of how you have shown care to people e.g u looked after ur grandparent.

Notice I keep mentioning examples. You need to backup anything you say with examples, this is very important as it shows that you understand what you are saying and have in-depth knowledge of the topic.

You shld read briefly about nursing in the uk, the accreditation body (NMC) and the uni you are attending.

Read about confidentiality. They might ask about it in scenario based format. Key thing to rmba is never discuss patient’s results or diagnosis with unauthorised person even if it’s their family member (except when the patient has given their consent)

I can't tell you what questions to expect because it varies based on your initial responses but just know about why you want to study nursing, your motivations and aspirations, how your past experiences have shaped you, why you're a good fit for the program and the school, how the modules will benefit you and what you're bringing to the class, why the UK. Also have adequate information about the course; also expect to be asked few questions about nursing. When you know all these, it becomes easier to answer.

She needs to knw about the 5 C’s of nursing; commitment, conscience, competence, compassion and confidence and be able to give example how she will apply each C in her career as a nurse.

She should mention that she’s caring and give examples to back it up. She shld be able to link psychology with nursing explaining the similarities.

Scenario based questions:
They might tell her little story and ask questions about it.

Hints:
Safety first
Patients should be carried along when making decisions about their care
Confidentiality

She shld read a little bit about the nursing degree at the university of hertfordshire incase they ask her “why university of hertfordshire”

It is not compulsory to change your surname when you are married.

Why not? You can study MSc nursing with a degree in Philosophy! But there are some certain criteria to be met! Like certain hours experiences in an health care setting.

You have a Degree. Which is higher than the diploma. I would submit my degree transcripts/results to NARIC, rather than my diploma result.

Or are you thinking that some diploma modules you took are equivalent to degree modules?

You can use same account for the 28-days and all payments associated with your visa process as long as making the payments doesn't make your balance dip after you submit your online application.
Any bank should do but check with them to confirm their daily/monthly international spending limits.

I think you are correct. I don't know whether universities in the UK use to contact prospective applicants, I have experience with Canadian institution, it not common.

After being accepted at Exeter, I still want to have alternative should in case as advised on this platform.

I applied to Huddersfield university, university of Greenwich and Reohampton. I completed for greenwich at a go and received unconditional offer the fourth day but did not have time to complete for the other two.

To my surprise, I received more than three emails from both. I later replied them that I will complete later. Reohampton called me on Monday, I missed the call, they called back on Tuesday to check what was delaying me. They promised to give me discount and sent me links for international scholarship, likewise Huddersfield.

I stand to be corrected if I am wrong. Just my observation. Peace.

Why not start your program September 2020 to be sure. Also this coronavirus could delay lots of things. Start your program September 2020.

How will you easily sort out accommodation and get BRP from your school. How will you register in your school? Everyone is scared due to coronavirus and you have no one to ask questions from nor will you associate. I dont want you to have mental health issues due to boredom and staying at home lonely.

How can you pay that big tuition fee and be doing a course online. How will you even do any practical? Most flights are not in operation in May and have sacked employees. Many flights have been cancelled in May. Those that will be in operation are super expensive.

Start your program September to be sure. The uncertainty in May is very high. In some schools, end date in your CAS is the graduation date if you pass all your courses. But if you fail, then you wont graduate in May. But how can you fail your course, pay another exorbitant money which would even reflect in your transcripts affecting your job prospects because of PSW?

Your school is even suspicious. Most schools have postponed their May entry to July, September or October.

The 28 days count starts from the day after the judgement of the full money you require. The day it is deposited doesn't count; you start counting from the day the lodgement reflects in your opening balance which is usually the next working day after.

. let me explain this further for more clarification for the benefit of new members here,base on what you just said.Remember, 24hours make One day.Now,assume your brother or father transfer the required money into ur account around 9:00 am in the morning on Monday,it is wrong to start counting ur 28days from same Monday,because it is not up to one full day.instead you should start counting from the next day which is Tuesday.Also,if for example ur 28days is on Thursday, you should not print ur bank statement on same Thursday, rather print it on Friday.I hope my fellow new members understand all I just explain?.pls I will love our masters here to do more justice to this information.

They don’t have any business with that,yours is too just start counting 28 days from the day you have the complete required sum in you account and print for only those 28days. Whatever happens before that is not the embassy’s concern. So if you are paying in bits,the whole process might take more than 28days. E.g I need 10 million and I am paying 2milkion each day into my account,I will have 10 million at the end of business day 5,then I start counting my 28 days from day 5 or 6 but I advise day 6 to be on the safer side. That way the whole process has taken you 5 + 28 days but you only need to print out statements for the 28 days

Good morning my people, let me also mention what I learnt from other gurus in this thread.In order to be in a more better chance,it is also advisable to have more than the required amount of money in ur account because forex exchange Fluctuation. Example, if the required amount is 9M try have like 9.3m or 9.4m in ur account, so that if Naira depreciate against pounds, it will not affect that particular required amount of money in ur account. Assuming Oanda.Com give u 480 naira per 1 pounds,try use 500 naira per 1pounds to calculate the very required amount of money that suppose to be in ur account for ur visa Application. Because UK embassy uses Oanda.Com to do their calculation not black market rate.Pls other Gurus in the house should throw more light on this so that new applicants can learn.
