A woman was beaten severely by an angry mob after she allegedly stole a baby and was caught in Imo state. 

It was gathered that the woman allegedly kidnapped a two-month old baby whom the mother finished breastfeeding on Monday, November 19th, at Mammy market in Obinze, Owerri West area of the state. 

According to Tosin Rosy, while the mother was about to dress the baby's bed, the woman (suspected kidnapper) who looked pregnant - stole the baby and was walking away before the mother noticed and raised an alarm. 

The mother's loud scream attracted her neighbours who intervened and descended on the suspected kidnapper.

She was later dragged to the police station after receiving severe torture from the angry neighbours.

The Delta state governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, on Tuesday organised as state banquet in honour of the Super Eagles of Nigeria for qualifying for the 2019 African Cup of nations which will be held in Cameroon. 

The governor gifted the Nigerian football team $50,000 (over N18 million) for qualifying for AFCON 2019, as he hosted Super Eagles and Uganda players after their friendly match yesterday to the lavish dinner at the government house in Asaba. 

The governor had earlier promised to give the Super Eagles $25, 000 (nearly N9 million) for every goal scored in the AFCON qualifying match between Nigerian Super Eagles and Bafana Bafana of South Africa. 

Unfortunately the Eagles failed to score any goal.  What would have passed as the joker failed to click after Ahmed Musa’s 84th minute goal was ruled offside.

The two goals scored for and against Nigeria were all scored by the South Africans themselves.

Internet users have hailed a man who walked in on his wife canoodling with another man in bed and handled it in a civilised manner. 

According to trending reports, the husband caught his wife with her younger lover while romancing each other at her boarding house in Solwezi, the capital of the North-Western Province of Zambia. 

The wife is said to be a student at one of the local learning institutions in Solwezi.

While the heartbroken man was confronting her boyfriend who was explaining himself, his wife just lay there on the bed as if the matter didn't concern her as can be seen in the video below. 

The husband was calm throughout the confrontation and later shut the door on other students who gathered at the room to see what was happening.

A young man has been apprehended and humiliated for allegedly defrauding a petrol station in Delta state.

According to reports, the suspect who is believed to be an internet fraudster popularly known as 'Yahoo Boy', scammed a fuel station after purchasing fuel and pretending to make a transfer of N40,000.

The incident happened sometime ago but luck ran out on the suspect as he was caught yesterday after being tracked down by vigilante operatives.

Report has it that the suspect is currently in police custody as his family members are pleading on his behalf and have promised to pay back the money.

A young Nigerian man has been arrested by police in Ghana. The suspect identified as 'Solo Pounds' from Sapele area of Delta state - was arrested after being accused of belonging to an internet scamming syndicate and also armed robbery. 

He was apprehended along with other suspects as they are currently in police custody and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded, according to the police. 

This is coming days after the Tema Regional Police Command in Ghana as part of plans to clamp down on criminal activities in the metropolis, arrested 13 Nigerians.

Two of them, Frank Inyang Thomas, 40, and Segun Mustapha, 36, described by police as members of a syndicate that trail and rob people, who withdrawn money from banks, were arrested in a silver coloured private Toyota Corolla car at the Meridian Cluster of Banks.

The police said Thomas and Mustapha were grabbed in connection with the stealing of GH¢14,000.00 from a vehicle parked at Franco Phones, near the Ghana Water Company, at Community One on October 26.

The victim parked his car at Franco Phones shop to make enquiries, but on his return, he detected that the driver's side door had been opened and the money stolen.

A man has taken to social media to appreciate escaping danger after discovering a python at his poultry in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state. 

It was gathered that the man was working on the farm when he noticed the large reptile moving around in the poultry very close to where he was. 

The man reportedly took off and reinforced himself with the help of others before they attacked the python and cut off its head. 

Just yesterday morning, there was pandemonium at Uyo Street along Stadium Road, Rumuomasi in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, after residents sighted a huge Python in the area.

The frightened residents immediately alerted some mobile policemen on patrol as they arrived the scene and helped them in killing the reptile .

The youths who noticed the python had a swollen stomach decided to butcher it as it was discovered that the reptile had swallowed a goat.

According to reports, the Bayelsa State Vigilante Service has apprehended two suspects in connection with the killing of Miss Seiyefa Fred who was gunned down last Thursday evening by hoodlums during an operation in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital.

The suspects were apprehended at Amarata area of the state this morning by 5:am.

The names of the suspect are: Junior Danumunabo from Nembe Ogbolomabiri, a 20-year-old boy, who resides at Gwe Gwe street in Yenagoa and one Ezeagi who is allegedly the boss and gave them guns.

Report has it that the suspects are fully ready to cooperate with the Nigeria police force to fetch out everyone involved in the act.

Seiyefa Fred, a 100 level student of Niger Delta University in Amassoma, was attacked on Thursday, November 8, by suspected cultists who asked for her new iPhone which she reportedly gave to them after hesitating.

She was shot dead at close range near her compound in Amarata area.

The hoodlums ran away after shooting the victim as residents of the area came out and rushed her to the hospital where she later passed away.

Armed men allegedly attacked and killed several members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Ipo Omademe in Ikwerre local government area of Rivers state.

According to reports, the publicity secretary of PDP Rivers State Chapter; Hon Darlington Orji JP, Hon Barr B S Emerengwa, Hon Samuel Nwanosike and the leadership of PDP in Ikwerre LGA were in Ipo on a sensitisation tour before the heavily armed men came out from the bushes and started shooting at the crowd.

It was gathered that one Mr. Uche Nnana, and a lady from Ipo were killed in the attack while several others are injured.

Hon Nwanosike had previously raised an alarm over the alleged plot purportedly sponsored by some political thugs which was perfected in a meeting at Afrik hotel Igwuruta on the 7th of November, according to reports..

The Bayelsa State Volunteer Security Outfit, at the early hours of today, 14th November 2018, apprehended an 18-year-old cultist identified as Ebi Odoh from Torugbene in Ekeremo Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The victim, Marvelous Peter from Imo State while reporting the incident to the media unit of the security outfit, said Eki Odoh and his friend was at the verge of attacking him just to forcefully collect an android phone from his pocket and he also said, Ebi's friend slapped him at the process, suddenly Volunteer men around the Tombia axis appear at the scene and took them to the office.

Ebi Odoh is currently in the custody of the anti-cultism unit because he confess to be a member of the Dabam confraternity popularly known as Bobos.

His friend identified as Samuel is at large and investigations are ongoing to also arrest him.

A young man has returned home safely after he was allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Rivers state.

It was gathered that the victim simply identified as Ikenna popularly known as '2 Pac', was abducted along with his co-workers some weeks ago in Afam-Nta community in the state.

After staying for weeks in the kidnappers' custody, Ikenna reportedly regained his freedom in one piece.

It was reported that this fellow co-workers couldn't make it and have been confirmed dead.

The victim was rushed to the hospital after regaining his freedom.

His friend, Uchemelenze, took to Facebook to write;

A lady who escaped mishap which happened at her shop in Asaba, Delta state - has taken to social media to thank God especially at this 'crucial' time of the year.

It was gathered that a speeding driver ran a Toyota Venza car into her shop on Monday, November 12, after losing control of the vehicle. 

The impact of the accident was great that the car destroyed the shop and almost all the goods inside. The front part of the vehicle was also damaged in the process. 

The excited woman identified as Raymond Esther Ogochukwu, took to Facebook yesterday to share pictures of the accident and wrote; 

With my mouth, will I make known your faithfulness to my Generation oh Lord! This happened to my Shop but God kept me, his mercies kept me. Am grateful Oh Lord I can't keep calm any more.  Monday, November 12 2018. God is great..

A young man has shown of his new look after undergoing surgery to remove the huge growth on his face.

According to reports, the young man was restrained due to the facial growth which caused him serious pains and unrest. But after undergoing facial surgery some months ago, he is said to have fully recovered and is doing well.

The excited man who is now free said he is looking forward to picking up his studies again so he can become a mathematics teacher, just like he wanted to be before the pain began.
