A notorious cultist identified as Clement Atonyefa popularly known as 'Black Arrow', has been apprehend by the police in Twon Brass in the Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa state. 

It was gathered that the suspect was arrested with the help of the local security group in the area after he allegedly attacked and shot at a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) shortly after the official reception of some defected members of the All progressives Congress (APC) in Twon-Brass.

The suspect is currently cooling his heels in police custody and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded. 

The honourable Victor Isaiah, the caretaker chairman Brass Local Government Area, accompanied by PDP chieftains received over 200 APC members led by Jeff Jackson at the party Secretariat today in Twon-Brass.

Nigerians have revealed their surprise following the obituary poster of a man who is said to have died at the age of 170 (1848 - 2018).

The deceased identified as Pa Monday Agwalogu from Osisioma Ngwa local government area of Abia state, passed away in May 2018 after a brief sickness. 

The man who is believed to be the oldest in his village before his death, is to be buried next week Thursday and Friday (November 15th and 16th) in his community. 

Nigerian internet users have been wondering how possible this is - with some asking whether the family did the right calculation with the old man's age. 

The oldest person ever whose age has been verified is Jeanne Calment (1875–1997) of France, who died at the age of 122 years, 164 days.

There was a standoff between officers of the Nigerian Customs Service and trailer drivers earlier today in Aba, Abia state.

It was gathered that the Customs officials came to seize a trailer container in Aba after they were allegedly settled in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital.

The trailer drivers who protested against what they termed as extortion by the officers - blocked the Port-Harcourt/Aba express road to register their anger.

The drivers blocked the major highway with their trailers as a protest not to pay another money to the Custom officers who insisted the driver must move the said container to a specific location until he settled them.

The incident attracted a large number of crowd which gathered to resist the officials.

A third arrest has been made in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Nigerian boy in Clapham, London.

An 18-year-old man [C] was arrested on the morning of Wednesday, 7 November on suspicion of murder by detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of Malcolm Mide-Madariola. He is in custody at a police station.

This follows the arrest of an 18-year-old man [B] on Monday, 5 November, on suspicion of murder. [B] has been bailed until a date in late November.

A 17-year-old boy [A] appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 7 November charged with murder. He is next due to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 9 November.

Malcolm died in hospital after being found stabbed in Balham Hill, near to Clapham South underground station on the afternoon of Friday, 2 November.

Weeks after Dr. Maiwada Galadima, a first class traditional ruler of Adara Chiefdom in Kaduna State was gruesomely murdered, after he was kidnapped alongside his wife and several others by a gang of armed men who attacked him along the Kachia- Kaduna highway, the police high command in Abuja, the suspected killers have been arrested.

The suspected hoodlums were paraded today by the Department of State Services (DSS)..

The paramount ruler was murdered, after spending one week in captivity and a ransom of N10million was paid to the kidnappers.

It was reported that after a N10 million ransom was paid, the kidnappers brought out the 64-year-old traditional ruler and some other people who they kidnapped alongside him, excluding his wife, Victoria, who they had released three days before then, to the entrance of a forest within Katari area of the state, and opened fire on him killing him on the spot.

Another victim who tried to escape was also shot on the foot before they escaped into the forest.

It was learned that the sound of the gunshot attracted residents of a small village within the Katari area and they found the paramount ruler lying in a pool of blood. 

Eight persons including the traditional ruler lost their lives during the attack.

A Nigerian man, Chidi Okoye, has taken to social media to reveal the shocking thing he saw this morning in Anambra state. 

The man saw a group of women washing bitterleaf (used in preparing the popular Onugbu soup in Igboland) with muddy water from a dirty stream in Awka, the state capital, which they plan to sell in the market. 

He shared a picture of the women in action as he urged Nigerians to be careful and always rewash them (bitterleaf) after purchase. 

Chidi Okoye wrote; 

"This morning on my way having my routine walk, I saw these women in Awka processing Onugbu (bitterleaf) one of our favourite soups with this mud water and from there to the various markets". 

"Please rewash your bitterleaf if you are buying the already processed ones".

A 33-year-old man identified as Taiwo Dare Lamidi, has cried out that he has been living a miserable life of seclusion from his twin sister right from birth, a development that has continued to affect him spiritually.

According to Crimepuzzle, Taiwo accused the management of an Ibadan-based hospital of conniving and theft of his placenta-binded sister.

He said: "My condition has been so precariously despicable that everywhere I go for spiritual cleansing, they always ask after my twin sister. It got to a point that I had to confront my mother with this revelation. She claimed to had been unconscious after delivery, adding that she knew she was filled with joy when I was presented to her hale and hearty, apparently oblivious of the evil done to her.

"This prompted my mother to embark on her own fact-finding mission, also in the spiritual way, and the results she got were in tandem with mine.

"More worrisome is the revelation from all the spiritualists my mother and I consulted. They all spoke in unison that the only way out of my present quagmire is to set my eyes on my twin sister.

"Still confused, I challenged my paternal grandmother with this fact. Her response was shocking. She said I was so big at birth to the extent that my weight compressed my sister. What happened to her, she did not disclose. This apparently suggests that my mother was likely to have been sedated shortly after our delivery, not to know that we were born twins.

"Meanwhile, I have been severally told that 'Kehinde' is very much alive. I am using this medium to make a passionate plea for assistance to help me look for her. I am from Ile Olu-Oje in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

A 7-month-old baby who was stolen in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital, has been recovered.

It was gathered that the baby was allegedly stolen by a woman yesterday morning who vanished into thin air after the act and was later tracked down in the night after a manhunt was launched. 

The woman was first taken to the Rivers government house security to avoid being lynched after she was captured and was later handed over to the police for further interrogation.

"Following our earlier report of a missing seven months old baby boy that was taken away from No 77 Akwuzo street, Mile 1 Diobu at about 9.45am today".

"We swung into action by immediately activating all our contacts across Rivers State into an urgent search with the only information at hand being the lady who took away the baby's phone number we got from a person who she called the phone with earlier, and we put a call through to the number but to no avail, at that point it became worrisome and we instructed that matter should be incidented with the police while we applied available technology and software at our disposal which eventually paid up SAT 213 tracker that was able to locate the the girls phone when we eventually called and she picked her but immediately switched back off".

"As we write we were able get the woman and the missing 7months old baby back around Eleme junction and we took them to the Government House Security just to avoid the lady being lynched to death if we take her to Diobu, after reporting the incident there a call was put to Mile one police station and the matter handed over to them for further investigation".

"We sincerely wish to thank all those who on getting the information acted by spreading the news that helped in increased pressured to help us locate the missing child and the lady".

The new estate at Akachi road in Owerri reportedly owned by the wife of Imo State Governor, Nkechi Rochas Okorocha, has been completed. 

A Facebook user who visited the estate today - couldn't contain his shock as he filmed himself driving around the newly completed estate alleged to be worth billions of naira. 

According to reports, the Akachi Estate seats on over 80 plots of land. It has over 10 duplexes and ten bungalows all fully and well furnished, to be used as service apartments.

He berated the governor for allegedly using tax payer's money to build such as exquisite estate while pensioners are languishing in sorrow over their entitlements. He also revealed that it is difficult to gain access into new estate due to the tight security.

The man shared a video of the elegant estate which has gone viral online.

The Inspector- General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations, have been lauded for prompt arrest of Wilfred Ezike a.k.a Mgbaringba for the alleged murder of Akachukwu Umeadi.

Chief Nduka Okafor, spokesman for the members of Anambra Keke Tricycle Operators Union also commended Deputy Commissioner of Police Kolo, in charge of Special Tactical Team (STS) for arresting Ezike alias Mgbiligba considered as the most notorious political thug in the State and the godfather of the four notorious and most wanted criminals in the State,Ikechukwu Udensi known as Ikanda and Afam Obikezie alias Kapiyaukwu, Chukwuebuka Chigbo alias Agama lizard and his brother Chisom Chigbo

He called for immediate prosecution of Mgbiligba and his cohorts to douse any speculation of alleged compromise by the police.

Okafor said early October, 2018, Umeadi was allegedly shot dead by the suspect and his gang members along Ziks Avenue, Fegge, Onitsha while Nnamdi Obumse was shot at the leg over Keke revenue generation.

The Keke operators said since the arrest of Mgbiligba, peace has returned to the State as thuggery, extortion of Keke riders in the name of revenues generation have drastically reduced.

Keke Riders also appealed to Senator Victor Umeh and Anambra DCP Administration to stop the alleged backing of Mgbiligba who is believed to be working for them over parochial interest.

The Keke operators alleged that Mgbiligba and group parade not less than 64 cult boys in the State who they used to terrorise Onitsha and environs with dangerous weapons.

The group also called for immediate arrest of Kapiyaukwu and Agama lizard, alleging that he replaced Ikanda the most wanted terrorist in the Anal of Anambra state history.

According to reports, the suspected killers of Apostle Blessed Kelechukwu Iwuanyanwu, the founder of “Wind Of Glory International, Umuahia, Abia state, his assistant pastor and woman leader/girlfriend, have been apprehended.

The police revealed that the suspected were arrested following discrete investigation after weeks the three corpses were discovered at the pastor's residence in Abia. 

The pastor was allegedly killed by his childhood friend, an Evangelist, known as Prosper Peters Okwandu, (pictured on black and white polo) and other accomplices. 

Properties belonging to the late Pastor including his car, phones and clothes were recovered from the killers.

Police operatives, led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the SCID, Patrick Edung, had, on Saturday, October 20th, uncovered the decomposing bodies of Iwuanyanwu; his assistant pastor, Ambassador Ikeagu; and the Women Leader of his church, Pastor Ruth Andrews, who is said to be the pastor's girlfriend. 

The deceased were pastors at the Wind of Glory International Church, Ohokobe village within Umuahia, the Abia State capital. Iwuanyanwu, said to be about 27 years old, was the Founder and General Overseer of the church.

The late clergyman, who hails from Mbano in Imo State, was a Mathematics graduate from the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. He also attended St. Peter’s Seminary in Okigwe, also in Imo State.

A Nigerian man was nabbed today in North Greenwich, London, for allegedly defrauding and extorting money from illegal immigrants in the United Kingdom. 

According to Nigerian radio presenter, Olayomi Koiki, the accused disguised as an immigration officer in order to be able to extort money from Nigerians and other illegal immigrants without any hindrance. 

The man was nabbed today outside a building in London by one of his victims (an immigrant), who dragged him right in public and refused to let go as the elderly man tried to fight back. 

No further details were given as to the current condition of the accused.

Immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Peter Ayodele Fayose, who recently regained his freedom from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, after meeting his bail conditions, was spotted shopping at Shoprite few moments ago. 

The outspoken Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart took pictures with some of his supporters at the shopping mall.

The pictures were shared by the former governor's media aide, Lere Olayinka.

The lady who was featured in a sex tape with a Nigerian pastor has finally broken her silence. The Nigerian pastor identified as Apostle Chris Omatsola, a senior pastor of Zionwealth Of Life Assembly in Lekki area of Lagos, made headlines weeks ago following a leaked sex video with his ex-fiancee, Princess Tamaratokoni Okpewho, surfaced online. .

The pastor later admitted to leaking the sex video in a footage he posted online (watch below) as he apologised to the ex-fiancee, his family and everyone offended by it. In a second video posted by the pastor (watch below), he inferred that someone leaked the sex tape which he claims is old in a bid destroy him and his ministry as he begged for forgiveness again and also solicited for prayers from Nigerians.

Meanwhile the lady involved, Princess Tamaratokoni Okpewho, has finally broken her silence. 

Below is what she shared on her social media page on Wednesday (today). 

I met Apostle Chris Kevwe Omatsola, an author, the founder and presiding pastor of Zionwealth of Life Assembly (Zola) in Lekki, Lagos and we started dating in February 2018. It quickly escalated to become a sexual relationship and when we had sex the first time, he told me he was human to have such feelings inspite of the fact that he was a pastor and because he was madly in love with me, we should make it right by getting married. I was in love and was ready to do anything for him. We continued our romance and one of the things we did together was recording videos and taking pictures of our intimacy.

I informed my mum about a guy coming for my hand in marriage and she said was going to pray about it. Everything was rosy until he became violent and constantly beat me up till I bled (I have pictures of my bruises). He came begging after each episode and I forgave him because I thought I was in love. The vicious cycle continued (He would beat me, come back pleading, and I would accept him back).

Fast forward to late July, there was no response from my mum about bringing him to her as my intended spouse. I was also beginning to develop cold feet about the relationship as the violence increased. He was very temperamental and we had series of altercations which eventually degenerated to more beatings. In August, I called off the relationship and I was surprised he accepted it in good faith initially given his penchant for violence. We agreed to remain friends, but he just wouldn’t let go…crying, begging and prostrating on many occasions.

Sometime in August, he asked that we meet up to talk on platonic grounds. After sometime during the meeting, he got really hostile with me upon realizing that I had moved on and wasn’t interested in making out with him. He also refused to drop me off at home. He beat me up, seized my phone, forced me to unlock it and retrieved a lot of contacts from it just to track who I was seeing. That was the final straw for me so I never saw him again till September when he showed up at my place, crying and begging. I refused to fall for his tricks this time and there was no further communication from both sides till sometime early October when he apologized yet again for all what he did.

On the 13th of October, he contacted me with an anonymous number via WhatsApp with pictures, videos and threat messages saying if I didn’t come back to him he was going to release everything. I profusely pleaded with him and also called everyone I knew to help beg him. A family friend called him and he promised he wasn’t going to release them, that he was just angry with me, he was trying to get my attention and hopefully win me back. I was calm after hearing this about 12noon that day.

Shockingly, at about 7pm that same day, I started getting calls from all my contacts about my nudes (pictures and videos) circulating all over the internet. A strange number also sent them to me via WhatsApp….my friends, my family and everyone on my contact list (recall he forcefully got the contacts from me in August). He even sent them to the same family friend who had earlier called to plead with him!

He was arrested the next day and didn’t deny posting the pictures and videos (there is a recording to this effect). According to him, he activated WhatsApp on someone’s number (a former girlfriend of his) and used the number to send the pictures and videos to my contacts and his church WhatsApp group. This went viral in a matter of minutes. Before he was arrested, a distraught me contacted him to ask why he eventually released them after he had promised not to. He said that now that my pictures and videos were out there, no man would want to look my way again, that it was best we got married and informed the world that we are a couple and its our business.

After the arrest, in the presence of his Dad, he yet again confessed to releasing the pictures and videos himself and admitted he was wrong. He apologized to myself, my family, his family and the general public. This was recorded 19th October 2018 and I am in possession of this video. He even accepted to pay for damages. We accepted his apology and thought we had laid this to rest.

We woke up Sunday morning (28th October 2018) only to discover that he had released yet another video, recanted his previous apology and claimed that the recording of the nudes and pictures happened when he was an unbeliever in the world. He even shed crocodile tears during the recording to make him appear like he was the victim. Chris and I started dating in February 2018 and the recording of nudes was done during the relationship (Feb 2018 – Aug 2018). There are currently posts from his church blog on the internet dated as far back as December 16th 2014 which is proof that the church had been in existence for some time. So how could we have recorded the videos when he was in the world, when we only met and started dating February this year and he had been a pastor long before we met? When exactly was he in the world

I was wrong to have been involved in premarital sex with a pastor. I was wrong to have allowed him persuade me to record our intimate moments. I was wrong to have continued dating a violent man. I have been having sleepless nights thinking about the consequences of all I did and wondering how to get past this, how to move on. My family and friends see me differently. A lot of people look at me and whisper when they see me pass. I have been fielding questions from my colleagues. I hope that this will pass soon.

A 35-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly defiling a 5-year-old girl named Rukaya in Makurdi, Benue state capital.

According to reports, the alleged rapist was caught in the act while raping the young orphan. It was gathered that the little girl was rushed to the hospital and is receiving treatment after "being damaged" by the suspect identified as Haruna Shauibu. 

The suspect was arrested by the police with the help of the International Federation of Women Lawyers, (FIDA), and has been charged to court for the alleged crime. 

This latest rape case is coming as Benue residents are still lamenting the death of 13-year-old Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbaje who was raped by her uncle and his son in Benue state.
