According to reports filtering in, there has been an accident on Eko bridge in Lagos, with some victims badly wounded and others feared dead.

Reports have it that the ghastly accident involving motorcycles, a bus and a trailer, was allegedly caused by the road users passing one way.

A man was spotted lying lifeless in the middle of the road with other injured victims.

Efforts are being made to evacuate the highway to prevent traffic gridlock.

A female lecturer avoided being attacked by two young robbers who would have dispossessed her of her valuables.

The lecturer, Mrs. Busola Oke Salako, was said to be in her residence in the Iyana-Iyesi area of Otta in Ogun State, when her generating set suddenly went off at about 11:00pm on Friday, November 30, 2018.

Thinking it was a minor fault her housemaid could easily manage, she sent the maid to go and fix it, unknown to the mistress and maid that it was the handiwork of suspected armed robbers, who used it as a gimmick to infiltrate them.

According to the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a press statement made available to Crimepuzzle, "Immediately the girl opened the door, the two marauders held her and covered her mouth with cloth, threatening to kill her if she makes noise.

"Her initial screaming when she ran into armed bandits, suggested to the madam that the household was under the siege of bad boys, propelling her to apply wisdom by quickly bolting the door from the back before making a distress call to the police and some members of the Community.

"On receiving the call, the DPO Onipanu Division, SP Sangobiyi Johnson, quickly mobilized his Anti-Robbery men to the scene where the two suspects, Akindele Ramon, 22 and Paul King, 20 were were promptly arrested with the help of members of the community", the PPRO stated.

Residents of Opolo in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital are still gripped with fear following a robbery attack in their area. 

According to reports, the gunmen numbering over thirty with dangerous weapons including guns, knives and axes stormed the area and attacked the home of one woman identified as Jane and others.

The armed robbers were said to have made away with an undisclosed amount of money and other valuable items after they gained access into the house by breaking the door and window.

The robbers were said to have operated for hours unhindered and left after a successful operation.

The house occupants were not killed, according to reports but were left with minor injuries. 

The residents are calling on the security agencies to come to their aid and prevent an attack like this in the future.

A woman has shared her heartbreaking testimony after she was imprisoned for nearly 13 years for a crime she knew nothing about. 

Narrating her story at a Redeemed church branch in Lagos, the woman revealed that in July 2001, when she was a final year law student, she dated a young lecturer who promised to marry her. 

She said a particular student also wanted to date her but she declined after she found out he was a cultist.

On that fateful day (July 31, 2001), some cultists stormed the home of her lecturer boyfriend and killed him in her presence. 

The family of the deceased lecturer accused the lady of being their accomplice as she was asked to name the cultists involved in the murder.  She told them she didn't know the cultists because they were masked.

The lady was later arrested and arraigned for conspiracy because nobody was caught. She was later sentenced to death.

She revealed that her father died after she was sentenced to death and her mother stood strongly by her after selling some of their properties to follow up the case. 

After waiting many years for her execution, the lady was later discharged and acquitted on the 12th of July, 2013 after she was found innocent. 

The woman who is now married - just welcomed a new baby few months ago and decided to share her story to the world.

A man's residence was raided today by security agents for allegedly being in possession of marijuana said to be worth millions of naira. 

It was gathered that on Thursday, November 29th (yesterday), the Kano Police Command received information about an Igbo man who recently lives in a rented house at Ladanai quarters in Hotoro area of the state.

According to the whistleblowers, the man comes in with some loads in the night and receives unknown visitors.

Immediately the report was received from the members of the Community, a search warrant was obtained from a court and the house was searched.

About 25 bags each containing 25 parcels of Indian Hemp valued at Eight Million Naira were recovered.

Members of each community in Kano state have been enjoined to volunteer useful information to the Command as already directed by the Emir of Kano.

They say food and sex are two of men's most primal indulgences and a wife has decided to combine the two at once to satisfy her husband.

A lady has taken to social media to show Nigerian ladies the way to get to their partner/husband's heart easily, by giving him what he needs.

According to her, she serves her husband "two meals"  at a go, one to keep his stomach satisfied while the other is to satisfy the body.

Although the lady didn't reveal which one he eats first but she disclosed that the husband is always excited about the two meals.

The young girl who was kidnapped along with her sister and was later tortured to death is set to be buried on Saturday, 30th November in Abia state. 

According to reports, the 15-year-old SS2 student identified as Chinecherem Promise Ibeh was kidnapped along with her elder sister, Esther Uchechi, from Imo state and taken to an undisclosed hideout in Anambra.

It was gathered that the younger sister was tortured and later suffocated to death by the men of the underworld.

The sister, Esther was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state at a hospital in Anambra after she was rescued by a reverend father who found her lying in the bush.

A vehicle which veered off a bridge in Delta state  - is still floating in a river five days after the accident. 

It was gathered that the vehicle fell off the bridge in Oghara, Ethiope West local government area of the state since last week Friday and it's yet to be recovered till now. 

According to reports, no one knows how many passengers were in the vehicle before the accident as no rescue team visited the scene since the accident.

The local government and state government have been urged to send a team to confirm if there are victims inside the vehicle and to bring out the car from the river.

This is serious. A young Nigerian lady is being trolled online after charging her 'fans and followers' N40,000 for a Whatsapp video call. 

The pretty lady who exposed her cleavage in a video posted online to announce the offer (watch below), claimed that various people have been asking her for a call on Whatsapp and those interested should pay the sum of N40,000.

She said after confirming the payment, the person will be allowed to call her for the "intimate" phone session where he can do whatever he likes. 

The young lady also revealed that the N40K payment will be for only ONE video call. 

Nigerians have reacted to the new development as many have labelled this a new form of hustle.

A bus ran into a section of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly perimeter fence, fueling rumours that the sacked lawmakers may have hatched another ploy to gain access into the 6th Assembly chambers.

According to reports, the incident happened on Sunday evening (yesterday). 

"It is suspected to be a ploy by Idongesit Ituen and his co-travellers to create an opening for an illegal entry into the chambers," a security operative allegedly said.

The bus overshot the gutter and rammed into a section of the fence, leaving an opening close to the House of Assembly chambers section of the complex.

The security men at the House of Assembly arrested the driver and whisked him away for interrogation.

Meanwhile remedial work is ongoing to fix the fence under the strict supervision of the Assembly security agents.

Politicians have started enticing electorates with gifts, food items, cash and other items in a bid to win their votes in the 2019 election.

Some residents in Ekeremor local government area of Bayelsa state, were visibly unhappy while being empowered by a politician and aspirant, Matthew Karimo (Bayelsa West Senatorial District) on Friday (yesterday).

The villagers were empowered with Indomie noodles, Maggi cubes and other ingredients which were given to them to drum support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant.

There was chaos as members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) clashed with police officers during a protest on Friday at Nkwo market in Nnewi, Anambra State.

It was reported that at least, one police officer and some members of the pro Biafran group were killed in the clash.

But the Anambra Police command said only a policeman died in the protest while a Divisional Police Officer in the area was hospitalised following injuries sustained in the clash.

The IPOB protests were held in South-eastern states; Ebonyi, Enugu, Abia, Imo and Anambra, as the pro-Biafran agitators marched round sensitising the people about the need for a referendum to determine a sovereign state of Biafra and rejection of the 2019 general elections.

Residents of Umuinem, Okigwe community in Imo state were left shocked after a man was caught this morning trying to bury charm/'juju' and other fetish items in someone's uncompleted building.

An alarm was raised after the man was spotted as the villagers nabbed him immediately.. 

The youths partially stripped and beat him before he was forced to make some confessions. 

A Facebook user Ugochukwu Favour who claims to know the suspect, alleged that his mother and wife are also complicit in his alleged crimes.

A driver is lucky to be alive after being involved in a serious motor accident in Imo state.

According to reports, the accident happened on Thursday by 10 p.m (yesterday) after the driver who was said to be speeding lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a building along MCC road in Owerri, the state capital. 

The driver and car occupants survived the crash which partly damaged the residential building.
