A Nigerian man has been left devastated after he recently discovered that his wife of three years has been having an extra-marital affair. According to a social media influencer, Rita Egwu, the man's wife had been going see her lover (who is also married) in the apartment he rented for her years ago.

The woman who has now filed for divorce, allegedly told her husband that the man in question lavishes money on her and is very caring. She also allegedly said that she only married him to get a child because of her age.

I am so unhappy this morning. A male friend of mine just called to inform me that he just found out his wife of 3 years had maintained the rent of her former house where she lived before they got married. She had been going to spend time with the married man she was dating before they got married.

On confronting her she said "If na you, you go leave that kind man for yourself?" " He lavishes me with money and is very caring, I only married you to have a child because of my age".

Honestly, I have nothing to say to him. My only advice was he should just pray and forgive. He should find out what the married man is doing right and emulate.

Popular National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW)’s boss, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo, was spotted at the Osun state government house yesterday following Saturday's gubernatorial election in the state which was later declared inconclusive. 

MC Oluomo joined other supporters to celebrate at the Osun state government house yesterday when supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) thought that their candidate, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, emerged the winner in the just concluded gubernatorial election.

The jubilation started when the decisive Osogbo result was announced and went in favour of the APC. Governor Rauf Aregbesola-backed Gboyega Oyetola, was declared winner of the Osogbo constituency. APC pulled a total of 23,379 votes while PDP had 14,499.

The result announcement sparked jubilation among the staff and others who gathered at the government house to sing songs of victory.

In a trending video posted online, MC Oluomo also issued a warning to Saraki that they are coming for his state as he said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will snatch Kwara from him.

Here's the inspiring story of a Nigerian pilot who patiently waited for his success after being jobless for months. The pilot identified as captain Shaddad Tijjani Mohammed began flying at Madiba Bay in South Africa in April 2011. According to reports, he went solo on May 11th and achieved his PPL on August 17th of the same year. He went on to earn his CPL one year later on August 13th, 2012.

After not finding work back home in Nigeria for around 15 months, Captain Shaddad went back to South Africa to do his instructor's rating, before leaving again to go and get a job as an instructor at International Aviation College, Ilorin in Nigeria.

After instructing at the college for one year, Captain Shaddad headed to Miami, Florida to do his Boeing 737 type rating at Panam International Flight Academy.

He then returned home to Nigeria and landed a job as a First Officer with Azman Air on the Boeing 737. Captain Shaddad recently got his upgrade within the company and is now a Captain on the Boeing 737 with Azman Air.

Captain Shaddad considers his greatest career achievement thus far to having been an instructor at IAC Ilorin where he was able to touch lives and help many young pilots realize their dream of flying aircraft.

Captain Shaddad stresses the fact at first it always seems like an extremely long and hard road to success but trust him he says, "...with patience you will get to the promised land." ,as he is a walking testimony to this.

Captain Shaddad very importantly, never forgets where he came from and remains grateful to everyone that had an input into his training along the way to where he now finds himself, from his early days as a student pilot at MBSF to the flight deck of a modern jet liner.

It was a black Sunday in Sapele area of Delta state following a fatal accident allegedly caused by Dangote trailer which killed at least three persons. According to a report, the driver of the trailer lost control due to top speed while trying to negotiate a bend yesterday evening. 

The trailer was said to have hit a motorcyclist popularly known as Okada man who carried a passenger identified as Mr. Endurance Nwanpkai and his little daughter. The three persons were said to have died on the spot after the accident. 

The fatal accident sparked outrage among residents who witnessed the alleged reckless driving on the part of the Dangote driver. This prompted them to set the trailer on fire immediately after the accident in protest to the deaths of the deceased persons.

Men of the Nigeria police force and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials arrived the scene to control the situation and also evacuate the corpses of the dead victims.

A woman has got herself trending online after a footage from her birthday party went viral. In the trending video posted online, the lady whose identity is yet to be determined can be seen dancing with her friends in a room where they gathered for the celebration.

The woman and her friends decided to pull their cloth on purpose and show off their underwear while dancing as other women in the room looked on. 

Not minding the backlash and criticisms that will trail her action, the excited woman decided to post the video on social media, to the shock of internet users who blasted her for that.

Two Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials were humiliated publicly and beaten by a mob after allegedly causing a ghastly motor accident in Anambra state.

It was alleged by the crowd that the road safety officials who mounted a checkpoint in the area, were fond of collecting bribes from motorists and were reportedly chasing a passenger bus before the accident occurred after colliding with another vehicle.  

Many of the passengers in the bus were seriously injured after the crash including a pregnant woman. 

The accident was said to have caused anger among the residents who caught two of road safety men and dealt with them in public. They were forced to sit in the middle of the road while they begged for forgiveness.. 

An armed policeman was present as he begged the residents to have mercy on the officials and stop beating them.

Five men from Hackney who sold drugs in Cambridgeshire via two ‘county lines’ were sentenced to over 36 years’ imprisonment, yesterday, Friday, 21 September at Wood Green Crown Court.

20-year-old Rashayne Hunter was previously found guilty of two counts of conspiring to supply a class A drug (heroin and crack cocaine). Yesterday he was sentenced to ten years and six months’ imprisonment.

Samuel Awoyera, 20, was previously found guilty of two counts of conspiring to supply a class A drug (heroin and crack cocaine). Yesterday he was sentenced to seven years and six months’ imprisonment.

Sherif Isiaka, 19, pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply class A (heroin and crack cocaine). Yesterday he was sentenced to seven years and five months’ imprisonment.

Jodeci Ofulue, 24, previously pleaded guilty of two counts of conspiring to supply a class A drug (heroin and crack cocaine). Yesterday he was sentenced to six years and nine months’ imprisonment.

A 17-year-old youth was previously found guilty of two counts of conspiring to supply a class A drug (heroin and crack cocaine) and one count of possession of criminal property. Yesterday he was sentenced to four years and four months’ imprisonment.

The men, who all have links to a street gang in Hackney, sold the drugs in Peterborough and Huntingdon via dedicated phone lines nicknamed ‘Ricki’ and ‘TJ’.

They were arrested following a nine-month long investigation by the Central Gangs Unit, part of the Met’s Trident and Area Crime Command.

Operatives of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Maiduguri have rescued Kashim Bukar-Dalori, the four- year old son of the Borno All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman kidnapped on Wednesday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the boy was kidnapped from school around 1p.m. by an unknown woman who falsely claimed to be a relative.

Demian Chukwu, The Borno Police Commisioner, had earlier said that police personnel had lunched a full investigation to rescue the child from his abductors.

A source told NAN that three of the kidnappers were arrested in Maiduguri and Kano on Friday on their mission to collect N20 million ransom from a family member of the victim.

The source said: “It has been an exhaustive investigation. The suspects, a male who pulled out to collect the ransom of N20 million in kano, has also been arrested by our personnel.

“The boy, who was kept in Albarka Hotel in Maiduguri by a lady, was rescued and handed over to the family.

“It was after collecting the money that our IRT personnel from Kano arrested her. After her arrest, they promptly told us where the boy was kept. So we quickly mobilised our men and cordoned off the hotel in Maiduguri.

“She was the one that went to the school and picked him.”

Edet Okon, Police Public Relations Officer, Borno Command, confirmed the story.

Okon said: “I can comfirm that the son of the APC Chairman that was kidnapped has been rescued and the suspects were also arrested. The suspects would be investigated and charged to court.”

A Nigerian man was humiliated in public today by some Nigerian ladies for allegedly scamming fellow country girls with promise to give them jobs in order to sleep with them.

The disgrace happened in Reggio Emillia area in Italy as two ladies held the man publicly on the street after accusing him of sleeping with various Nigerian girls all in the name of giving them jobs.

In a trending video posted online, the man can be seen begging the aggrieved ladies who held his clothes and promised to disgrace him while another Nigerian lady filmed the incident.

The incident caused a scene in the area as passersby looked on before a policeman came to the man's rescue. Watch the video below.

The Nigerian Army in its quest to unravel the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Maj Gen. Idria Nur Alkali (rtd), has been conducting several search and rescue operations around the last known location of the missing senior officer.

Consequently, the COAS Lt Gen TY Buratai constituted a Joint Task Force comprising officers and soldiers from 3 Division Quick Response Team, Operation Safe Haven, Nigeria Police Force, Vehicle Inspection Office, Fire Service, as well as Local Divers.

According to a military report, several logistics issues including the alleged sabotage from the host communities have hampered the success of the operation.

Due to the terrain in the general areas of Paddock in Lafendeg Du Plateau State, the task force consulted a Chinese construction company working in that area who promised to assist in drilling out water from the pond where it was suspected that the vehicle belonging to the senior officer was pushed into.

However, the Chinese company was forced to withdraw from their services due to continuous threats and protest by women in the community clad in black dresses.

In the midst of this challenge however, the Task Force continued with its search and rescue operation which led to the recovery of an 18-Seater Hummer Bus door. This discovery indicates that there could be other vehicles in the same pond hence the continued protest by the community.

It was earlier reported that the army general went missing after leaving his house in Abuja on Monday 3/09/2018 for Bauchi where he has a farm but is yet to be found. He was alleged to have been kidnapped and killed in Plateau state. 

The major general was reportedly found dead in a pool of his blood along the University of Jos teaching hospital’s permanent site, according to a report by journalist Bello Lukman. 

According to reports, the deceased’s car was found alongside various other automobiles, ranging from motorcycles to tricycles otherwise known as Keke Napep.

A picture of the lady who gave birth to a new baby and dumped at a market in Delta state, has emerged. According to reports, the young mother simply identified as Edesiri, gave birth to the baby at the newly commissioned ultra modern market in Sapele area and abandoned her there to die.

It was gathered that on Saturday night, vigilante men in the area heard the baby’s cry and traced her close to a female toilet in the market after following trails of blood.

The security men notified their boss, Mr Tony Akpeki who arrived the scene and notified the authorities as they rushed the baby to the general hospital in Sapele by 12 midnight (on Saturday).

It was also revealed that the girl who delivered the baby (Edesiri) later collapsed in another hospital due to the forceful removal of the placenta.

A man is reportedly riding a bicycle to Abuja after arriving the country from Morroco. According to an eyewitness who met and spoke with him, the man who revealed he's a Muslim - says he wants to tour Nigeria and take pictures after hearing so much about the country. 

The eyewitness identified as Sani Musa Saminaka disclosed that he saw the Moroccan man today at Shanga local government area in Kebbi State as the man took pictures with the excited villagers who supported him for his journey. 

Earlier this year (in February), a Chinese female cyclist, Huang Shuang, rode from Morocco to Lagos, Nigeria, within five months. Huang, also known as CICI, said that she was inspired to embark on “cycling around the world’’ after riding around her country.

The cyclist said that her experience in China motivated her to begin global cycling in America where she covered about 5,500 km in two months.

“I am glad that I have also been able to ride from Morocco to Lagos, Nigeria. This is an indication that irrespective of our sex, we can achieve anything we set out to do. “The whole idea about my cycling started when, one day, I decided to embark on a cycling trip around my country, China.

“After the trip around China, I was motivated to take my first cycling around the world to America, where I covered about 5,500km in two months.

“Now, I am in Lagos from Morocco, after I flew from America to France, where I cycled around Europe for four months, before taking a ferry from Spain to Morocco,’’ she said.

The cyclist, who left Morocco for Lagos on September 6, 2017, said her trip was fascinating though she experienced tiredness, robbery, accidents and had had to sleep under bridges and in gas stations. She said that she always travels with money, noodles, tent, sleeping bag, clothes and bicycle repair accessories.

The governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, was delayed for hours following a serious traffic gridlock while he was on his way to a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.

It was gathered that the governor was traveling to Abuja along with his entourage to discuss important matter as it concerns the flood that has ravaged communities and the terrible nature of roads in the state before he met a traffic jam at Jamata axis of the Abuja-Lokoja highway, according to a report by Petra Akinti Onyegbule, Chief Press Secretary to Kogi State Governor. 

The protest was ignited after a military man allegedly shot the tyres of a truck. In solidarity, other truck drivers quickly mobilised and used their vehicles to block both sides of the highway, bringing traffic to a halt and commuters stranded for hours.

In the spirit of comradeship, other trailers in solidarity began to block the highway with their vehicles thereby causing traffic discomfort to commuters.

On getting to the scene, the governor alighted from his car, listened to what happened, calmed the situation down.

It took the intervention of the Governor who spent over an hour at the site of the incident to solve the situation and bring normalcy to the highway.

The governor used the opportunity to call for understanding amongst road users and security operatives to always try and resolve issues they may have amicably, He resolved the issue before proceeding to Abuja where he met the President in Aso Rock.

Nigerians have flooded social media with different reactions after Kemi Adeosun has resigned her position as Minister of Finance. Her resignation followed the allegation of not serving the compulsory National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, and obtaining a certificate that the NYSC have disowned.

Adeosun’s official credentials showed that she parades a purported fake National Youth Service Corps NYSC exemption certificate, which was issued in September 2009, granting her exemption from the mandatory service on account of age.

According to reports, Adeosun failed to participate in the mandatory NYSC scheme after completing her university education in London.

The minister felt that her position is becoming untenable and is hurting the President in the run up to the 2019 election.

Pictures of a man who died earlier today in Kaduna state, have been circulated online in order to locate his family/relatives. But what intrigued people about the man's death - was the smile on his face moments after he passed away.

According to reports, the deceased identified as Umar, hailed from Katsina state and lived in Kudan local government area in the state. He reportedly died as a result of sickle cell disorder.
