Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Gives Followers Indian Hemp For 'Sober Reflection' by PrettySpicey(f): 5:30pm On May 17, 2013
It gives him inspiration, so that when he mounts the pulpit you can see the EFFICACY of Indian hemp.
N we all know how 'efficient' indian hemp is to the sane mind, right?
What kind of gospel has this man been spreading, for Christ's sakes!

Nairaland GeneralRe: What's Your Opinion About The Left Hand? by PrettySpicey(f): 1:05pm On May 17, 2013
A lot of celebrities and famous people are 'lefties' - Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Nicole Kidman, Phil Collins, Justin Bieber, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Napoleon Bonaparte and so on.
They are/were lefthanded and are/were world achievers.
Problem is here in Nigeria (maybe in Africa) we think its somewhat negative to be lefthanded. Elders consider it disrespectful if you use your left with them. Parents 'knock' it out of their kids.
But personally, I just think its just life, comes natural to the person. N secretly I think lefties r brilliant.
Oga hubby is a leftie and i just love it grin
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Spend N60bn On Bullet-Proof Vehicles In Five Years by PrettySpicey(f): 9:43am On May 17, 2013
Really? N60bn just on bullet proof vehicles?
Well, I just want them to know that there is no bullet proof against God's judgement.
And it comes!
CrimeRe: Man Caned For Stealing In Ibadan by PrettySpicey(f): 9:36am On May 17, 2013
It amazes me these how every issue is now all about ACN, APP, PDP n the likes.
@ Tigerhead, what has ACN got to do with a thief being sentenced to flogging by a Magistrate Judge?
Let's be careful how we are turning every issue political ... 2015 would be war-free whether you mad politicians like it or not.
FoodRe: Japanese Chef Killed Over Poorly Prepared Noodles by PrettySpicey(f): 11:58pm On May 16, 2013
This is completely terrible and totally unacceptable! N these men were released because of "lack of evidence''? Did the Police even investigate for evidence?
A man who served celebrities loses his life because two 'unknown' men were dissatisfied with their meal. Life undecided

EducationRe: JAMB Gets 7-days Ultimatum To Release Scripts For Remarking or face the court. by PrettySpicey(f): 11:38pm On May 16, 2013
What has Nigeria come to? Time was when JAMB was written, results out and students marched to their respective Uni choice to see if they made the admission lists.
Now JAMB is being re-marked? Unbelievable!
Well, one thing I know when something gets reviewed in Nigeria, even worse underhand stuff happen.
Sad!!!
CelebritiesRe: Mo'Nique Shows-Off Weight Loss And Workouts by PrettySpicey(f): 11:21pm On May 16, 2013
This is so inspiring.
I truly love Mo'nique and her trying so hard to get in shape has really inspired me. And I know it must have inspired women who go through the mockery and taunts of being overweight or obesed.
Mo'nique is saying to us all - YOU CAN DO IT.

CareerRe: Your Experience With Female Bosses by PrettySpicey(f): 2:11pm On May 16, 2013
Though a woman and strongly believe in GirlPower. But my experiences with female bosses have been real terrible.
Last one was the Head PA, heading us junior PAs and Secretaries. This woman ruled that office like she was ruling her home. It was be in her good books or suffer in that office. I had my Confirmation as a staff postponed by over six months because of this lady. And you can't go behind to any of the Top Bosses and make a head way. It was that terrible.

Also had another experience with a 'frustrated' married female boss in 2008 who was also No1 gf of the Company Director. Every other female employee, especially us single ladies then, were a threat to her 'glorified' position and she made us suffer for it.

But I've also known ladies who are secure in their positions and truly God-fearing. Women who are truly hardworking and focused, with them as your boss you could build a good career. Unfortunately, they are so rare.

Ladies, we got to chill and really be the BOSS without bias and insecurity. Just LEAD, following God's guidance.

RomanceRe: I Cheated On My Boyfriend With A Married Man - Please Advise by PrettySpicey(f): 3:56pm On May 13, 2013
@Ogugua88 thank u for dat load of good sense n frank talk.

Now @Aloevera, welcome to NL.
Don't u dare try to justify cheating/unfaithfulness - there's no excuse for it.
You got it right when you saw cheating as an act by discontented n undisciplined people. N as Ogugua said - selfish people.
Listen, no one has the perfect man/woman by their side. N that married man u profess to be in love with? He is not perfect n i know u know that already, as he is already cheating on his wife with u.
No partner is perfect . But when we make a commitment n give our word to our significant other, we owe it not just to them but above all to ourselves to keep that word for that is our proof of integrity.
So there's no 'matured talk' necessary. There's only being truthful with ur partner n taking full responsibility for your actions.
N finally let go another woman's man. Thank u.
FamilyRe: Open Communication In Marriage, A Plus Or Minus? by PrettySpicey(f): 9:10pm On May 12, 2013
Personally I'm an 'open communicator' myself n Oga hubby knows that.
He treats me good - I tell him, always.
He treats me bad - I tell him, one hand.
He hits that spot - I SCREAM in joy n pleasure.
He rushes in n out - I groan in disappointment.
He's EVER to av a gf, even for free? - It's a big NO ... N he knows that 2.
I recommend OC 4 every marriage - keeps all cards on the table & face-up all da time grin

RomanceRe: Your View About Social Network Love? by PrettySpicey(f): 5:48pm On May 11, 2013
Often times people look at relationships that are 'E-originated' as never serious, never end well n totally immature n wrong.
N they could be right, given the kind of nasty stuff we hear these days.
But there are still good people out there. N you might be lucky to meet one of them via social networks.
My take is any relationship you are going into, whatever the origin, be yourself. Don't let anyone turn you into someone else and never settle for anything but the best for you.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Catholic Worship Mary Instead Of Jesus? by PrettySpicey(f): 8:21pm On May 10, 2013
Why do non-catholics show such utter disrespect toward the Mother of Jesus, Our Savior, Lord and God?
N how do you people think Jesus really feels about that?
And what makes you people believe Jesus is threatened, in any way at all, by the HONOR bequeated on His Blessed Mother by catholics?
Let us be very careful ... Ignorance and Pride might not be accepted excuses at the end of the day.
When you lack understanding, ask to be taught. N in matters concerning God, don't assume you know, ask The Holy Spirit to enlighten you.

RomanceRe: Caught My Fiancee Cheating, Should I Go Ahead by PrettySpicey(f): 6:34pm On May 10, 2013
You believe that 90% of women cheat. Before I continue, thank u for that 'myopic' observation.
Now this is my contribution, since u believe dat 90% of women cheat, I say u stick with her. Cos how possible will it be for u to find a woman from the remaining 10% non-cheating women?
Its gonna be a tough call.
N since she possesses IN FULL your 7 must have ladies qualities, I do believe she's just ur perfect match.
I'd like to finish by saying ... U don't know 90% of women, so ur 'little belief' is actually blind n baseless.
FamilyRe: Your Mom Or Dad: Who Do You Speak Often With? by PrettySpicey(f): 9:02pm On May 09, 2013
I speak ONLY with my Mum. With dear father dead the last 11 yrs, I can assure we haven't spoken in a really long while.
I refrain from talking with/to the dead.
Only parent left is mum and we do a whole lot of talking wink
RomanceRe: Can You Stop Loving Your Partner? by PrettySpicey(f): 8:52pm On May 09, 2013
Love is like a seed planted in the ground, it needs to be nurtured - watered, trimmed, weeds taken out, fertilized. It also requires adequate sunlight and air.
Bottomline love, when treated right, lasts forever.
Can't stop loving Oga hubby, I swear that guy knows the secret of loving grin
Nairaland GeneralRe: Striking Down Rule 17 by PrettySpicey(f): 2:12pm On May 09, 2013
ijaw citizen: Oga seun,
You don't "strike down" something that is written, You "strike it off".

No offence intended
You are absolutely right in correcting Seun and there's no need for the ''no offence" addition, given his Rule No21 which stresses the use of perfect grammar and punctuation.
He should lead by example.
FoodRe: Is “pomo” A Poor Man Food? by PrettySpicey(f): 4:32pm On May 08, 2013
