RomanceRe: Can A Lady's Backside Determine Her Destiny? by Princek12(op): 6:18pm On Jan 25, 2010
hackney:
The truth is that a woman's physical endowment influences her success and therefore her destiny
despite women (funny enough) not realising the extent to which it does.

It is commendable but misleading that a woman in a coperate environment will (naively) attribute her rise to only
her efforts while her clothing is bursting at the seams with all that curves on legs that go on for ever.

To call a spade a spade , a woman who is flat as an ironing board will work up to 10 times harder to attain the same level of success as a curvaceous well endowed woman who is as smart.
So much so that some female-inclined coperate positions like receptionist positions,PA and even bank marketing agents are almost exclusive to 'Sexy' women.

It is simply natural instincts ( i suppose in pursuit of fertile partners) for men to allign themselves with women who
have curves because natural curves are usually indications of fertility and capacity to bear fit children.
(A stark example is the fact that a female child is not fertile and nature tells everone with her flat chest)
That may also be why from far, a man sees a womans curves way before he sees her mug (face).  grin grin

Nature counter-balances physical attributes with mental ones and as a result, the most beautiful girl in your class
is unlikely to be top of the class.

Nature is fair and usually perfect.
(and it is what it is)
I appreciate you for facing reality and being pragmatic about this issue. You are just keeping it real.
PoliticsYaradua Loyalists Plan Rallies In Response To Call For Yaradua Step Down by Princek12(op): 6:10pm On Jan 25, 2010
Piqued by the growing anti-Yar’Adua sentiments sweeping across the country, which peaked with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s devil-may care outburst last Thursday, the Presidency and groups loyal to the ailing president may have resolved to counter the onslaught employing “multi-dimensional tactics.

Beginning from next weekend, Kaduna, Enugu, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano and Maiduguri will witness massive rallies to drum up support for the ailing president and douse the flames of the conflagration for his removal from office.

The rallies will move to selected local government headquarters nationwide in the coming weeks.
Already, all the pro-Yar’Adua groups have been galvanized for the project with a soothing financial back-up from the Presidency. It is being co-ordinated by Yar’Adua for New Nigeria (YFNN), an offshoot of the moribund Peoples Front (PF) founded by the President’s late elder brother.

A source close to the presidency, which confirmed the development to Daily Sun, could not, however, disclose the budget for the project. The source expressed disappointment at the tension generated by the “needless apprehension over the President’s absence and calls including court orders for Vice-President Jonathan to take over.”

It said, if not curtailed now, the nation stands on a precipice of instability, while suing for understanding of the situation.
Daily Sun further learnt at the weekend that pro-Yar’Adua’s elements in the Presidency have resolved to step up action to nip in the bud any acts capable of “humiliating the president out of office based on his illness, which they insist has yet to go out of hand.
In pursuit of this, the security and intelligence agencies have been mobilized to keep a tab on insiders who are working to keep the crisis on with a view to reaping from it. Specifically, members of the executive council of Nigeria, known in local parlance as Federal Executive Council (FEC), as well as the leadership of the National Assembly are prime targets.

Attempts to rope in “errant media houses,” through official harassments, arrests and litigations to get them off the line of sensationalism on the issue until the president recovers was re-buffed. A senior aide in the presidency had argued convincingly that the later recourse would rebound and create avoidable problems it sought to solve.

Consequently, the Presidency may have resolved to work in unity, with pleas to all appointees of the president to shun what was termed “the arguments of the opposition, who want to capitalize on the president’s sickness to hijack power.” There was no immediate confirmation of the vice-president’s position on the new offensive, which effectively would clip his wings in the emerging scenario.
But in line with his “play along tradition,” with which he has cleverly evaded troubled waters in the aftermath of his boss’ absence, the country may expect no less from him in terms of co-operation. As part of the strategy, the president’s men especially those overseeing politics, media, communications have been urged to gear up to the challenge by issuing statements that would be attributed to the president on every issue especially the Anambra elections, and the on-going African Nation’s cup in Angola.

This, it was contended, would deflate the soaring agitations and keep President Yar’Adua constantly in the minds of the people as “working” and not as an invalid as some have chosen to label him.
This is by far the most comprehensive and far-reaching fight back by Yar’Adua loyalists since he left the shores of this country on November 23 last year for medical treatment in Saudi Arabia. Persistent calls have been made by concerned individuals and groups for his Deputy, Goodluck Jonathan to act. About two court judgments have so far been secured for the empowerment of Jonathan constitutionally as acting president in line with section 145 of the 1999 constitution.

The president had been roundly accused of not complying with constitutional provisions of transmitting a letter to the National Assembly informing them of his medical vacation abroad, a situation that has stood the country on the edge of major crises.

Hmmn. . .whilst this might not be completely untrue, I'd like to humbly call bullshit.
Any girl that is 'mainstream' enough to be with men for money will not be smart enough tell difference between 'quality of proposals'. Anyone off the street can walk up to anyone and propose but if it's worth a mention, the dude was probably worth his salt in street girl style. So saying she hasn't accepted any of the so called proposals is a big fat lie. No one proposed.
Well, she does not wear any engagement ring to class, which made me assume that she has not accepted any of the proposals. At least she told me that about two the guys she dated previously did propose to her.

RomanceCan A Lady's Backside Determine Her Destiny? by Princek12(op): 4:48pm On Jan 24, 2010
I know this subject edges around sensitivity, but I am nonetheless curious as to the opinion of my fellow opinionated, learned nairalanders. Please, let's contribute objectively without attacking one another. One of classmates, a girl who is endowed in the backside and hips department, does not have a problem meeting men. Accordingly, men, especially rich men, approach her repeatedly and are ready to shower her with gifts and money and finance her business whenever she graduates; some of these men even proposed to her--but she has not accepted any proposals. Another girl in my class, who has a flat ( I mean flat like a wall) backside, can barely get men to approach her.

As I don't know conclusively the reasons why one girl is being approached by so many men while another can barely get one, I can only speculate that her backside and hips, with which she is bountifully endowed, are responsible for her ability to attract substantial amounts of wealthy men. Thus, she has a rich cauldron of men from which to choose a prospective partner or spouse and which will, practically speaking, affect her destiny. The girl with the flat behind, on the other hand, has unappetizing cauldron of men from which to choose, probably because of her flat-like-a-wall-like backside.

My intelligent, opinionated people of nairaland, what is your take on this? And is it because of this recognizable power of a bountiful backside that has motivated so many women who have flat backsides to seek a yansh augmentation procedure?
PoliticsRe: What Has Fashola Really Done? by Princek12(m): 3:19am On Jan 24, 2010
People think Fashola is a magician. How do you expect one governor to fix within two or three years of assuming power every problem that occurred as a result of decades of abandoning and not developing Lagos's infrastructure? With respect to the resources and the complexity of Lagos, he is doing an excellent job. The people complaining are probably illiterates who don't know the extreme importance of the role infrastructure plays in making life better for its beneficiaries and in developing a country.

If he did all this in two years, then he can work on fixing the water supply and other problems during his next term.

RomanceRe: Naija Men: Love Them/hate Them by Princek12(m): 2:48am On Jan 24, 2010
Good looking, fit Nigerian men intimidate Nigerian women. Overseas, it is in a Naija man's disadvantage to get fit and attractive if he intends on wooing Nigerian women. They will automatically think you are a player who is not commitment prone. All Naija girls look for is money, attractive Naija guys my a-s-s.

All these bitter Zambian and other African men are jealous of the fact that their women chase Naija men. Accordingly, they claim Naija men use only money and sweet mouth to woo their women. They never mention that these African women praise the attractiveness of Naija men, characteristics which are lacking in many other African men.

Oyinda,

I read your story from link 2, and it is obvious that a bitter Zimba man who is apparently appalled at the rate at which Nigerian men date Zimba chicks wrote that article. Accordingly, his article contains undertones of antipathy toward Nigerian men, for he claims Naija men have taken away from the market ripe, young, and marriageable Zimba chicks.

I suggest they sleep in separate rooms during weekdays and sleep in the same room on weekends. That way, they have their space during the week and, hopefully, anticipate spending the weekend together in the same room, which probably mimics their pre-marital sleeping conditions.

PoliticsRe: Court Freezes Ibru’s N500bn Bank Accounts by Princek12(m): 1:47pm On Jan 21, 2010
This system of selective enforcement has to stop, so the Court should unfreeze Mrs Ibru's assets. The EFCC should investigate, arrest, prosecute, and request a Court order to freeze the accounts and expropriate the assets of all the people who are suspected of engaging in corrupt practices. Why haven't they investigated the Godfathers and trendsetters  of corruption? People like Babangida, Obasanjo, Dangote, Otedola, among many others, all of which have engaged in some kind of embezzlement or money laundering of some sort, are walking free and profligately spending money that which was fraudulently acquired. To pick on a select few while ignoring other thieves is not a just way of law enforcement. As a matter of fact, it encourages would be thieves to obviate prosecution by bribing high-ranking govt. officials ahead of time.

Once the SE play well against a quality opponent, I will praise Amodu and his boys. Until then, they are an unfit team who rely on luck to win.  It is particularly sad when you see NLs over-celebrating a win over Mozambique, which is clearly not a quality team.
