T Crack,

You must be smoking that crack, for real. So landlords should watch politicians embezzle their taxes and Fed Govt. allocation; and while observing this, these landlords should still utilize their hard-earned money or probably loans to build roads, which is clearly a government prerogative. Do you realize that this could dramatically increase rent prices since the landlords will most likely pass the cost to the tenants? And your big mouth will complain about high rent. Please go to rehab.

Considering the statements of all these people about the influx of Chinese who are establishing businesses in Nigeria, and that Nigerians should therefore desist from complaining because these Chinese folks are supposedly sniffing-out opportunities, it is fair to say that the Chinese are in Nigeria to leech and do not have at heart the best interests of Nigeria. Also Nigerians complain about the corruption and lack of basic needs in Nigeria, not about lack of business opportunities. We are not that stupid to the extent that we do not see business opportunities in that Country. So it is fair to say that Nigerians complain because it is their country, and it is extremely frustrating to let your motherland wither without attempting to show concern by complaining; the Chinese, on the other hand, have no ancestral ties to the Nigeria and would not care to complain--I am sure they are complaining about inadequacies of the communist government of the People's Republic of China.

I agree with you.

Why shouldn't we complain? It is hard to stomach the sight of extreme embezzlement amid abundant resources.  And that's the difference between Nigerians home and in the diaspora: plenty of home based Nigerians have adapted to sufferings and would justify their situation by flaunting their successful business or their money, as if all Nigerians in the diaspora are not equally--or even more--successful than Nigerians at home. Naija at home are happy to drive their $100, 000 Mercedes in pot-holes and in the flood and in the darkness and go home to their "mansion" at 8pm for fear of armed robbers. And this same people will tell me they are enjoying. And we also need to stop the mentality which says "as long as I am making it I should not complain." Bull Shit. IN A LAND WITH VIRTUALLY NO STABLE POWER, NO GOOD ROADS, DILAPIDATED INFRASTRUCTURE, POLLUTION, EXTREME EMBEZZLEMENT, YADI YADI YA, people should CONTINUE TO COMPLAIN until they can effect change. I don't care about business opportunities in Nigeria right now; all I care about are the basic needs.

LiteratureRe: How Can I Improve My Writing Skills? by Princek12(m): 12:52am On Nov 01, 2009
I would recommend that you desist from reading Nigerian newspapers because they are replete with grammatical and spelling errors, but you can read American and British newspapers. If you like Nigerian material, read books from reputable Nigerian authors like Achebe, Chimamanda, and other Nigerian authors who are trained in writing or have degrees that inherently involve writing. Also stay away from the editorials on Nigeriworld.com, as the editor allows contributions from authors who have no writing pedigree or skill.
Nairaland GeneralRe: What Are Your Views On Homosexuality? by Princek12(m): 12:30am On Nov 01, 2009
Homosexuals, in my own view, fall within one of these categories:

1) People who are homosexuals by birth, probably due to hormonal dysfunction or demonic influence. Only God knows.
2) People who acquire  homosexual behavior through environmental factors, that is they were"turned out" or they acquiesced into believing it is an accepted behavior.
3)People whose body shape or physique make them inherently unattractive to the opposite sex and receive no advances from the opposite sex, usually a female; or that their advances are rebuffed by the opposite sex, usually a male; therefore, they adapt to this rejection by sleeping with the same sex to satisfy their sexual appetite.
4) People, especially women, who have been seriously scarred emotionally and have therefore decided to close the doors on men and welcome women with an open mouth and tongue.

In sum, I believe demons are primarily responsible for these dysfunction, as God did not make a mustache to rub against another mustache, nor did He intend that breasts from two different females fight one another nor for the anal cavity to serve as a receptor. May God heal all those gays and dykes.

You guys may say whatever you want but I recommend reading English and American newspapers and magazines, if you really like reading newspapers. This is because not only will reading Nigerian newspapers fail to enhance your writing skills, but it will also worsen your current writing skills.

This is not the rubbish I asked for.
Can you give me a statistical prove of Ekiti residents in USA? And fo Ekiti traveling intranational?
Since when does the population of a state accounts for its use of airport?
And what makes you think surrounding states around Ekiti wont use our airport because its closest?

Nigerians and their negativity.
I did not mention anything about the number of Ekiti residents in USA here
I did not say the population of a state accounts for its use of airport
as per the surrounding states, I said Ibadan is more metropolitan than Ekiti and would be the most likely candidate for an airport, but the Ibadan airport failed due to lack of momentum--it was too close to Lagos.

I know it hurts, but an airport in Ekiti, international airport especially, will most likely not work; the odds are severely stacked against it. This is not about negativity but reality.

Since you can't answer your own question with a solid fact, I'll suggest you shut your trap before questioning my post.

DON'T USE YOUR OPINION TO QUESTION ME IF YOU CANNOT PROVE THAT I AM WRONG. CAPISH?
Answer is an emphatic no. Ekiti is too small and remote and too close to Lagos to generate any compelling interest from Local airlines, much less international airlines; Ibadan, which is substantially larger and more metropolitan than Ekiti, cannot even generate the volume to sustain an airport, so how the hell will Ekiti, as remote as it is, generate the requisite the volume of passengers?

My friend, shattap dia.

You think us in the states wnt use it. Why should we have to drive from lagos to go home? angry
You are the one who needs to sharap. Do you think there would be a consistent volume of passengers who will patronize the airport to generate enough revenue that would sustain the operational costs of the airport? Abi how many Ekiti people are in the states? ABeg
TravelRe: Plane Touches Down At Akwa Ibom For 1st Time! (video) by Princek12(m): 4:30am On Oct 30, 2009
The people were starring at the plane as it descended into Akwa Ibom airspace as if they were hypnotized. And if the airport is newly built and is supposedly an international airport, why was the airport not designed to bear semblance to a contemporary, world-class, 21st century airport? It looks like a cheap, archaic piece. Why can't you build something nice for once. The airport was probably designed by a village architect.
RomanceRe: Sex On A First Date - Does It Kill A Potential Relationship ? by Princek12(m): 6:57pm On Oct 29, 2009
I believe sex on a first date enhances a relationship that would have been otherwise fruitful, say between two compatible people who are mutually attracted to each other. People are so quick to blame sex on a first date for the demise of a relationship that has been through a precarious condition from inception. Abeg make una leave sex alone. Sex on the first date is not responsible for the demise of a relationship caused by picking an incompatible, lame ass partner. What is the difference in having sex on a first date or on a second date or on a third date, especially if each consecutive dates are, say, a week apart? After all, you still had sex.

lol @seeker. you seem to really have an agenda against asian women. I'm sorry but i'm forced to think that your pissed off at them because they refuse your advances. jk I mean I don't see any problem in the way they do their things. They are not forcing the men to marry them are they?
same with white women or black women. whatever motive they have to being with a guy, I don't think they force the men to the altar.

but I do agree that women who place the most priority on the material aspect of a relationship are just  lipsrsealed

but to be honest though, I wouldn't stereotype asian women as "gold-diggers" I think it's just part of their culture for the family to prefer their daughters to marry up. Trust me i'm a girl and am very close friends with a few and understand the pressure their parents put on them to marry a relatively well off guy. I have a friend who is currently fighting with her mom right now because her mom doesn't like her boyfriend. the reason being that he is not as smart or well to do as her.  so, It's really a cultural thing to be fair.

anyways on a sidenote, this world is so sexist. nothing wrong with a man going after a woman with big booty and pretty face but there is something wrong with women going after a man with a relatively solid financial status. what a double standard. lollol
Women also seek physical qualities in men as well as money. Having a big booty and a pretty face are immutable traits and that which stays with you; money, on the other hand, can be acquired anytime during a relationship and can be lost. So, if a woman seeks out and marries a rich guy, what will this woman do when the guy loses his job or becomes financially bankrupt? Will she leave him and find the next rich guy? Money and looks are not the same thing.
RomanceRe: Not Dat Pretty But I Hate Ugly Guys by Princek12(m): 12:32am On Oct 29, 2009
Poster,

If you were approached by a fine boy you won't know what to do with yourself. I think only fine chicks respond favorably to the advances from a fine boy, at least from my own experience. Naija fine boys intimidate a lot of ugly Naija women when they approach them because the women are bitter and are not used to being approached by good-looking guys, unlike fine Naija girls who are happy.

I guess those women should choose between saving their marriage or adopting some western culture that is repugnant to your own culture. If those women choose western culture, I hope they are ready to deal with all the shortfalls that which are inextricably linked to the supposed western culture: single parenthood aka baby mama; high divorce rate; increased responsibilities; independent woman mentality aka single but hurt but would attempt to bolster my self esteem under the pretext of independent woman; and many more. Stick with your culture and be true to your self. It works, trust me.
