Politics / Re: Pdp Never Zoned Presidency -jonathan by princekevo(m): 6:43am On Sep 29, 2010
See as PDP is dragging the whole nation into state of confusion with their madness of zoning agreement. A party who can not even interpret their own constitution, out of greediness {sigh}. Anyone in the party can interpret their constitution to favour his/her selfish ambition. Yet Nigerians still believe there is any credibility left in PDP.

The truth remains that there is zoning principles in PDP constitution, but the section did not further specify to which offices this can be applied to, or which time it should be applied before or after election. If not for sentiments i don't know how the blind supporters can say  there is any sense in GEJ's claim which make every other person in PDP wrong. It is time we stop seeing this PDP constitutional problem as a Nigerian problem and any PDP member who is using the unity of Nigeria to make claim out of this conflict is nothing but a hypocrite. We are not running one party system in Nigeria, so for someone to say PDP zoning agreement will affect credible election in Nigeria is jst an evidence that PDP will never conduct any free and fair election. For example, are we saying if PDP could not present a candidate for 2011 poll becoz of their own constitutional crises, that there wont be an election, or we can't vote in another candidate from another party?

If not for foolishness tell me how anyone could argue that an agreement made by jst one party will affect the general election which many parties Will be involve. Are we the voters even supposed to be concerned abt how PDP chooses their flagbearer.  If we have any thing like credible election in Nigeria why would the whole Nation be worried abt who ever emerges from PDP out of their stupid zoning madness. If we are sure of free and fair election in 2011, PDP can go to hell with their zoning madness. All we need to be concerned abt is to vote in a credible person irrespective of his party, tribe or zone.

Instead of these criminals to accept there is something wrong with their constitution and work together to rectify the problem, they are individually making use of the problem to their favour.
It is time we should vote PDP out of power with their confusion.

@labiyemmy:

All manner of items are imported into the UK from all over the world - including tooth brushes. How can this be explained vis a vis what we are complaining about here?

Man, how much are they paying you for all these stress or should i ask which of your relatives is among these official democratic criminals. Am sitting down here wondering how a government would approve more than Naira 15K for a waste bin , N80K for touch lights in a country where 60% of its citizens could not earn up to that amount in a month. It is easy for you to sit at you comfort zone there in London converting the amount in pounds which is not enough for jst 1weekend outing, but down there in Nigeria that amount means a lot to millions of people.

And guess what? the contract will be awarded to one relatives or a fren who will go to UK and ask for special production of the lowest quality with the cheapest materials jst to enrich him/herself. So tell me why we need to import this material from abroad in the first while at the end the quality would not meet up with those produced in Nigeria with all the millions awarded on it. So if you see nothing wrong with that, i believe you must have traded you conscience for something else

According to a press release signed by his media adviser, Mr. Edward Dibiana, Senator Nwite’s first son, Mr. Michael Nwite disclosed that his late father passed on at the National Hospital, Abuja where he was receiving treatment in the early hours of today due to the complications that arose after a medical procedure he went through at Columbia Asia Hospital, Bangalore, India in April.

Am not sorry for any criminal that had the opportunity to fix Nigerian health system, but prefers to die abroad.
Could you imagine a Nigerian senator being flown broad, becoz we have no good healthcare system.

That is how all of them will die abroad and their bodies being flown back to Nigeria.

He advised that Nigerians “must stop judging and condemning ourselves using the standards of others. We must decide our own standards and use our own standards to judge ourselves.

Please this man should go to sleep
In other words this old man is asking us to shut up no matter how the government treats you. We must accept their corrupt and stealling standard and should always judge them based on this negative standard they establsihed in Nigeria

Am forced to ask OBJ if democracy was originated by his father. You are practicing democracy which was never your original system of government, stealling us dry in the name of the same democracy, but preaching the adoption of your own standard instead of the standard which the fathers of democray already layed. We spent billions conducting an election in the name of democracy, at the end you handpicked a candidate for us and you want us to judge you based on our standard.

If we are forming our own standard then we should go back to the days were we dont have spend millions to chose a king. Where we dont have some criminals stealling the country dry in the name making laws, where you OBJ has to be judged by taking you to 'Ogwu' to swear if you never stole from Nigeria and let see if you would still be alive by now.

Politics / Re: Where Do These Presidential Candidates Stand On Key Issues? by princekevo(m): 6:48am On Sep 20, 2010
A man without a promise is free from resposibilities, could this be a Game GEJ is playing.
Obama quickely commenced the withdrawal of US army from Iraq becoz that is what he promised the people, and the midterm election coming closer, he would be held responsible for his word and promises. Or are we to underestimate the voters heart he won through this single promise and stance?

Nigeria is really doomed when we began to apply the saying "action speaks louder than Voice" to politice. We all knows Politicians in the whole world have one thing in common, Lies. So is better GEJ tell us his stance on the above economic issues raise, so that we know on what to evaluate his performance after 4 years. Am very sure he would like to go for another 4years, we dont want someone to tell after 4years that " i did not promise you anything but i have done this and this. Nigeria is not his private company like someone already said, he need to woo the masses into voting for him unless they plan to hijack our votes once again.

You dont woo a lady by promising her nothing in the name of action speaks louder than voice, you need to convince her with the reasons why she should be yours, you need to make her promises on which she will always remind you of that promises.

GEJ within his short period as the President has taken a very good number of decisions against OBJ's stands showing he is a man of his own.

Please can you educate us more on these decisions taken against OBJ's Stand? I know everyone is trying to sell his or her candidate here, maybe i can buy some ideas, becoz to me am fully convinced that a vote to GEJ is vote to OBJ, IBB, and all the criminals that belongs to that party.

Indeed . Nigeria and Nigerians never fail to amaze me. When Yar Adua was messing up badly we were all sure that , in 2011, we would all vote for someone who will not be as compromised , and thus rendered 'dead on arrival' , as our former President . Now it is bizaare to see Nigerians talking of IBB , Atiku and Jonathan as serious candidates . All these men , at best, have a mediocre and corrupt history as Nigerian leaders. We are a strange group of people. I would have thought , for all what we have gone through and for our unique problems, the choice of those who can lead us towards progress will be very unambigously obvious to Nigerians.

Nigeria may not survive another business as usual leader. All the candidates touted by the PDP so far (IBB, Atiku, Jonathan and Saraki) are business as usual leaders . Their style of leadership relys heavily on buying support , rather than reaching out to Nigerians sincerely and transparently , and then rewarding patronage with positions, contracts, "gifts", land , etc, etc. We desperately need to move away from this ASAP if Nigeria is to survive and thrive.

Exactly my concern, but the youths are prepared to sell their future and that of their children for another 8years.
Politics / Re: Soludo’s Days At Cbn Worst Ever, Says FG by princekevo(m): 10:01am On Sep 17, 2010
He wrote: "In spite of the heavy external debt of $34 billion and oil prices ranging between $25- $50 during the (ex-President Olusegun) Obasanjo's second term, we managed to grow the economy at about 6-7 per cent per annum (from average of 2.8 per cent in the 1990s). We started saving for the rainy day when oil prices reached $35 and by 2007, despite paying $12 billion to write off the Paris Club debt in 2006, we had saved about $22 billion as 'Excess Crude'.

"In the last few years, oil prices have averaged $70 to $85 per barrel. What has happened? We have spent the $22 billion saved under Obasanjo, and now massively borrowing at an alarming rate (domestically and externally) during a period of unprecedented oil price boom, and yet the economy remains static at 6-7% growth rate. Recurrent expenditure of the public sector has more than doubled since 2004, leaving very little for investment."

The excess crude savings are now a little above $350 million, with the three tiers of government drawing down to the tune of over $21 billion in the last two years to augment expenditure.

The problem with our government and its occupants is that they are allergic to truth. Tell me what is not the actual fact in what Soludo said?
Our PDP government both in FEC and NAAS are busy increasing their allowance based on the money saved for rainy days. Their leader our president shared $27b excess from crude oil sales among his governors who has nothing to show for it, as if he controls the price of oil at the international market. Why cant we have a debate on the economy to see how this government can defend such wastage. That is all the man is calling for.

Very funny you find the action ridiculous yet u are on a social network airing your views.
Jst like you are here mounting all the campaign for failures on NL and am sure you will not be seen close to Nigerian bother during election, not even to queue under the sun for them. How many men and women that is really gonna take out time to queue for those number of hrs are on FB or online?
FYI Nigeria has d highest internet traffic in Africa and any serious politician will not underscore the relevance of social networks/internet in reaching a particular set of population that eat, sleep and work on internet.

Lol!!! are you talking abt Nigeria having the highest scam email leaving their internet domain or what? Please check one other thread opened by Kosovo maybe that will explain to you why Nigeria has the highest internet traffic in Africa.

He has also been using SMS and these methods are simply geared towards reaching as many Nigerians as possible b/4 Saturday. He has shrewdly been gathering momentum for his former declaration on Saturday, preparing his fans minds for what they have all been longing for.

Anyways that is not my problem however he chose to run his campaign, Why should he send me text message? Is it not as the case of a man who can not face a girl he love to tell her his feellings face to face. You know what such men gets at the end? Either fake acceptance or the Sms finding its way to recycled bin. LOL.

I asked one question which you failed to answer
My question remains, is GEJ afraid of Mic? Is he afraid to approach the Nigerian media? Is he still battling with stage freight that he can not openly address Nigerians on his ambition.

@Prince: Anyone can say all he said. We need jobs, we need constant electricity, we need to improve the economy. So what?

The question is how he intends to achieve that. I can wake up and say I want to go the moon tonight. The question is how. IBB's declaration highlighted the issues which every Nigerian toddler is well aware of. The issue here is, how does he intend to solve the problems. No clue

Lol!!! Probable you didn't have the patient to read through the long article. Infact If not that my eyes are getting weak after reading through it the first time, i would have gone there the 2nd time paragraph by paragraph to copy and paste the clues he gave on how to tackle these problems he listed, mostly on the economy.
My problem is not abt the manifesto lacking a blue print or a clue on how to solve the above problem he mentioned, becoz i can see at least 3 from the article which seems to be a solution our economic problem, but my problem is
1. his ability to really put those clues into work.
2. the person it came from is not some one i can really trust, he has an issue of trust here.
3. even if he meant all these from his mind, the party he belongs to will be a great stumbling block to really actualise these
Politics / Re: Help! Our President Has Gone Viral by princekevo(m): 11:34am On Sep 16, 2010
Actually i personally found this so ridiculous. We Nigerians like to be follow- follow without thinking and Developing our own concepts.
We all knows Obama used facebook to pass his message across to millions of America, but he did not declare his ambition first on facebook, even if he declared online it makes sense as almost all American homes have assess to computer. My question remains, is GEJ afraid of Mic? Is he afraid to approach the Nigerian media? Is he still battling with stage freight that he can not openly address Nigerians on his ambition. It is very humiliating declaring first his ambition to a foreign social network which i doubt how many Nigerians are users.

Obama used Facebook and online as part his campaign becoz more than 80% of Americans have access to internet. Even at that this guy never underestimated the power of the media, he was always on the media until he suddenly became a world Celebrity. Please can someone tell Jonathan that this online thing can never work in Nigeria if ever he want to give us a free and fair election. Unless he planed to rig himself in as the president. If ever he want to win in a free and fair election he need to pass the massage across to those grand ma, grand dad in the villages, market men and women, Okadas, and student who does not even know what Computer looks like, but are the once to stand on the long queue, under the sun to make the decision. Not these Nigerians abroad who hide behind their computers to throw their internet support.
Politics / Re: Why I Want To Be President Again — Ibb by princekevo(m): 11:01am On Sep 16, 2010
I jst discovered many did not even bother to read what this man has to say, but as usual comments based on sentiments.

There is no option open to this nation than to create an economic framework that prioritises job creation, entrepreneurship, productive engagement of our  teeming population. I am making a solemn undertaking to devote the four years that would be available to me, if elected president, to create the foundation for creating that economic framework.
I bet this criminal knows exactly where Nigerian problem lies. This is one of  the biggest problem of Nigeria till tml, we have no economic frame work to build on, as such our past presidents has only engaged themselves in trial and error. We need some one to give Nigeria a strong economic frame work through which others can built on or else we will continue to beat around the bush without progress

“From the above, the following specific objectives, among others, would constitute the focus of our economic management policy in a determined effort to re-inaugurate a caring society, a macro-economic framework that attracts investment, promote economic stability and sustain high non-inflationary growth; a strong partnership between public and private sector which is private sector-driven with the government as the enabler.
“Use Nigeria’s wealth of natural resources to diversify the economy
, and thus reduce significantly over dependence on oil and gas; the growth and development of small and medium scale business top provide wider economic opportunities, employment and poverty alleviation; a modern, well-structured, efficient and competitive financial; and banking system that caters for the long term needs of the economy.

IBB dun come again, maradona himself grin
Sometimes i wonder why someone with such brains and Idea can not jst apply them for real to elevate his own country if giving the opportunity.
collaborate with the states, local governments, the legislature and judiciary to sustain democracy and federalism as the definitive character of the Nigerian state and as the framework for achieving our objectives of economic productivity and a caring society.”

The need for reform in our politics and in our economy is another reason Nigeria needs strong leadership in order for us to catch up with developed economies. I am a strong believer in reform, and I will urge Nigerians to demand a new style of leadership that makes the welfare of the citizen the centre of governance from all our leaders.

My biggest problem with PDP and GEJ to be precised, i dont think any PDP candidate has that courage to give us the reformation we need even as strong as you claim to be IBB, PDP have the capcity to break your wings. So sorry my vote is not for PDP.
Nice and appetising manifesto though coming from someone you can not trust. I wait and see what GEJ has to say on 18th or when?

Nice question there.  There is no creditable candidate now to contest with GJ. Nigeria has always been short of good politicians especially on federal level. Folks are just scared

I found the above statement funny. The last time i checked GEJ has not declared his ambition to contest, jst like other potential candidate from other party. So how can we quickly conclude that Jonathan is the credible candidate now to contest as Nigerian president? It seems we have finally bought the one party system PDP has been trying to sell to us for year.

You can say there is no credible candidate in PDP to contest with GJ. Do you know why there is no credible candidate? Becoz PDP will never let any credible person be their flagbearer and the credible once will never accept to be identified with failures. We all knows the party is total failure to the country so if you are talking abt credibility or in search of credible people you don't mention PDP.

Description

Cottonseed hulls are used mostly in the southern area of the U.S. They are low in protein, calcium, phosphorus and energy and high in fiber. Cottonseed hulls are palatable and are used as a roughage for cattle, especially in areas where good quality forages are scarce. They occasionally are included in grain mixes to increase the bulk density and crude fiber content. They can be helpful in supporting fat test in low fiber or low roughage rations.
