The Bible isn't clear because it wasn't written to be clear. No author/character in the Bible had as much access to knowledge as you do now. The mobile device you hold in your hand would make you a God in the eyes of Jesus and his disciples if you could go back in time to meet them.

God had nothing to do with the Bible. Different books, differebt authors spanning different generations. And not a single one involved in the final compilation called the Bible. That's why you find lots of contradictions.

The word of a perfect God was written by an imperfect man.


So we should be very careful to ascribes every words in the bible as the word of God.
