I'm in a Dilemma..I have to dispose my Beloved Spike-an Only-God-knows-what-was-croosed Rottie I persuaded my Mum to buy after she had suffered a string of adverse events from spousal loss to loss of 4 Previous Dogs who at some point in life were her most trustworthy companions, since we were all outta d house and shit...
He was an Overpriced Runt and we considered returning him, but the survivor-look in his eyes made me wanna give him a chance and by God, my mum pampered him!
I read a lot about dogs including caesar milan's show..and have applied them to my own dogs with relative success!
However, my mum has raised him like a prince who feels the only person to him is her! He attacks guests! Follows her closely! And unleashes all the Canine instincts in him once he feels you threaten that arrangement! He has made himself ALPHA which is very dangerous! The absence of a Rigid Hand in the House consistently means alot! Whenever I go Home, We Rough Fight A Lot for me to assert that Dominance, albeit without ugly scenes, I've been bitten by him several times.....but at the end, I carry the day.....or so he makes me believe!
Spike is growing and growing Real Big! You know what that means!
Take Him for a Walk and He changes at everything that moves! So bad I've considered muzzling Him( I hate muzzles sha)! People shout praises at him during walks and it irritates me!
I'm afraid this dog will give me a police case soon because of inadequate Socialisation! I have the following options you Guys could help me dissect!

1. Get him into some form of Retraining Crash Programme with Professional dog walkers to see if this beast can be tamed before he clocks 1yr!

My dog eats dry food. I also give him 1 or 2 raw turkey fingers every day to keep his teeth white. His favorite dry food is Arion puppy food which he eats directly. Other brands of dry food that I've tried have to be mixed with fish paste/oil or else he wouldn't eat them.


Theres a simple way to make her eat the food. You need to mix the crunched Indomie and protein source so thoroughly that she will not be able to distinguish them, so she will be forced eat everything.

Here's how I'd do it: Make sure the indomie is well crunched and thoroughly cooked or substitute it with well cooked rice (less filling and easier to digest). Replace the eggs (which dogs don't particularly like) and meat (which is very hard to grind) with boiled fish and grind it into a paste with your kitchen blender (Titus fish is the easiest to grind, but Shawa is cheaper), then add it to your Indomie/rice and cook them together for at least 5 minutes so the Indomie/rice will absorb the smell and taste of the fish and the dog wont be able to differentiate between them. If you follow this process I promise you that your dog will eat everything and beg for more. If you're not sure that this will work, there's an easy way to test it. Buy a tin of titus sardine, mash it properly, and mix it with your indomie/rice 5 minutes before taking it off the stove.
