PoliticsRe: Which States Will Oppose The New VAT Ruling? by proeast(m): 11:55am On Sep 07, 2021
OfoIgbo:
And the funny thing is that about half of the Lagos IGR is being provided by SEners, and about 70% of Rivers state IGR is being provided by SEners also.

Proper economic planning and the installation of seaports at Oseakwa in Anambra and Obuaku in Abia, will quadruple the IGR of the SE states.

Adding Igbo areas in the SS stretching from Obigbo, to Opobo and Ubani, to Ogwashiuku to the SE will further help the Igbo economy.

Igbos will automatically be bestowed with the title of states with the largest IGRs
See if our leaders are pragmatic, they would lobby and build a seaport in Abia State. Edo state is not a coastal state but they're building a seaport but I know once Igbos decide to do a similar thing now, the government will immediately frustrate it. We must have a port in Igboland even if it means using it to strike a bargain with Nigeria about not breaking away.

Opobo and Bonny may be Igbo territories but but since they're since they're still in a heterogeneous state, we must build in the SE!

You're crazy and like most of your species you don't know your history. For your info, Lagos had an airport since 1947. Ibadan had a TV station before France.
Those were not developed by the FG and as at when they were developed, your fathers were still hunting rats in the bush.
You're absolutely ignorant!

Lagos has been the capital of Nigeria since amalgamation in the 1800's and most investments by both federal government, foreigners and all Nigerians have been channeled there.

Who is talking about ibadan? The world's largest slum settlement and a dead zone?! Building a television station before France is just fantasy, it means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Where is France today and where is ibadan today? Where was Dubai yesterday and where is Dubai today??

Dey there make pant dey wear you!!

Stop wasting your time .... Big Igbo men don't like doing business in the east...... it is more of culture not because of lack of opportunities...

They are the ones that knows what is pursuing them from home ..... it doesn't have anything to do with Biafra .....

Average Igbo man don't stay Home no matter the seaport you build .....
Another senseless crap!
Aside Lagos, where else in Nigeria are Igbo men investing more in terms of commerce and industry if not East?

Have you been to Onitsha, Aba or Nnewi? Any big businessman you see in Lagos who is into trade/commerce/ has almost same investments they have in Lagos in the East.

Same way Lagos and Abuja attracts big Igbo men is also how it attracts both Yorubas and every other Nigerian. So what's your point?

Not just seaports, you need enabling infrastructure. That is how you lot were shouting for international airport in the East. They gave you, why are you still running to Lagos?
There is a port in Onne, use it.
Stop talking rubbish!!
The infrastructure in Lagos you're making noise about, was it developed by Yorubas or by federal government??

Una go just open mouth anyhow dey yarn opata.

The North and some states in the East will oppose the new VAT Ruling. After Vat collection by state the next should be decentralization of the Army and the police.
It seems you can't even interpret your own data. The least performing state in SE is Ebonyi yet they're generating almost double of what Ekiti is generating! And they're mates o!!

What you don't understand is that while SW states have reached saturation point in terms of revenue generation, considering how they've widened their tax net to include ORDINARY PURE WATER SELLERS, SE on the other hand is yet to scratch the surface. States like Abia and Anambra can easily double their revenue generation without breaking sweat. Enugu is already generating relatively high revenue and Imo can do likewise too while Ebonyi has already left all its mates in the dust.

We Igbos thrive in competition, so don't worry about us, rather watch and see how things unravel going forward.

Lol, delusions of grandeur. Asa/Ndokis are even more populated than your ijaw yet you want to drag them? Go to any part of Asa/Ndoki and call them Ijaw and see if you will return alive. It's a big insult to them that a minority group like ijaws will open mouth and claim they belong to ijaw.

Na wa o, too much ogogoro is not good at all. Ijaw land is mainly Bayelsa and parts of riveran Delta. Going beyond that is asking for trouble and you guys are too little to stand against Igbos. You will be risking extinction be that because you all may end up inside Atlantic ocean.

giftibo:
[s]IJAW REPUBLIC IS
FULLY DECLARED TODAY
1ST OF SEPTEMBER 2021.

Forward this worldwide.

General Ditari speaks.

Everybody who sees this write up should forward it to all Ijaw groups and none Ijaw groups both on WhatsApp and Facebook and forward it worldwide.

If the whole Ijaw people are ready to work with us the Lovers of Ijaw Nation Organization, of which we have members in each of the 65 clans of the Ijaw Nation in our group, and of which we are creating that Central Ijaw dialect in preparation for Ijaw Republic of which all which are being said in a language will be divided into 65 equal parts according to the number of Ijaw clans under Ijaw National Congress INC and Ijaw Youth Council IYC, and each clan will bring equal words to the Central dialect to be formed, and these words will be joined together, and we get a central dialect accepted by all Ijaw people.
It's only the native dialects that will be collected, no borrowed language.
E.g the Ibani and some other Ijaws of which the Ibani for example are speaking Ibani and other none Ijaw language while still under INC and IYC,
This Central Ijaw dialect we are creating now will put an end to all that errors.
And it will give us movie industry, fully balanced music industry fully balanced and a language teaching sector of which the new Central dialect will be taught all over Ijaw Nation and each clan will still have their different clans dialects, and this new created dialect will just be the Central dialect, and it will belong to none, while still belonging to all and more employments everywhere for our Ijaw people both the young and old and perfect unity will be achieved in Ijaw Nation more than ever before.
The Nigerian system Balkanized us into more than 6 States to weaken our unity as Ijaw people.
They treat us worse than slaves in Nigeria.
Zamfara and other Northern states Gold is for them alone, other people mineral resources, are for them alone, and it's Ijaw crude oil that's is for everybody body.
3 percent of 100 percent they claim they gave Ijaw Nation even that 3 percent will be shared with other areas that pipeline pass through.
I General Ditari I'm the Moses of the Ijaw Nation sent by God and ordained for this by God, even before I was born to liberate our Ijaw people from this curse called Nigeria.
All the areas in the 18 States of the Ijaw Republic including its Fct which is Centre of Ijaw Republic are all under Ijaw Youth Council IYC and Ijaw National Congress INC

The 18 States of the Ijaw Republic

The States will come this time with the reactions from many Ijaw people on each state.

1. West Ijaw State.
Comprising the 3 Ijaw clans of Arogbo, some of Furupagha. and Apoi all
In Ondo state.

State Capital Arogbo.

Ijaw people say that this state should have Ijaw Name like others.
It already have Ijaw in the name of the state, and it's in the Western part of Ijaw land.

2. Beni-Ibe state
Comprising the 5 Ijaw clans of
Olodiama West, Furupagha, Egbema, Ukomu Gbaraun.

State capital Ajakurama.

The reactions were that the state Capital should be Ofunama another Egbema town as Ajakurama even when it's not as big as Ajakurama.
But Egbema alone is not the Only clan in Beni-Ibe state so the Capital City goes to the Beni-Ibe largest town.
Ajakurama.
And also the next reaction was that all Egbema should be in none Balkanized into Ovia Southwest and Warri North that they were Balkanized into that they all will go to one state which is with the Beni Ibe state.

3. Wari State
Comprising if the whole Ijaws of the 3 Warri LGA

State capital Ogbe-Ijoh

except parts of Egbema clan that enter Wari North
Which will fully go with the Egbema in Edo to Beni-Ibe state.
Agreed. Thereby leaving Wari state to the four Ijaw clans of Isaba, Gbaramatu, Ogbe-Ijoh, and Ogulagha.

All Ijaws of Warri 3 LGA
Share boundaries with each other no comments from the Ijaw Nation on this state more than this.

4. Toru-ibe state.
Comprising of the whole Ijaws of Burutu, Bomadi and Patani LGA.

State Capital Burutu.

Reactions were that capital should be in Bomadi but Burutu is the Centre town of all the Toru-Ibe state people, and Bomadi is near other Nigerian tribes areas.
So Burutu is the best location.
Elemebiri Asamabiri Ekperiware Adagbabiri and Trofani towns will join their Kabo clan kinsmen in Toru ibe state.
These towns will not go with Eksa state.

5. Eksa state.
Comprising of the two LGA of Ekeremor and Sagbama with over 50 towns.

State Capital Aleibiri.
State capital could not be Sagbama because it nears Kaiama too much.

Reactions in the Ijaw Nation were that it should
Be taken to Ekeremor town but it need not be so because Aleibiri is the Centre town of the whole Eksa state people.

6. Koge state.
Comprising of the the 4 Ijaw clans of Kolokuma, Opokuma, Gbarain, and Ekpetiama clans, K+O+G+E with atleast 40 towns.
Capital city Kaiama.

No reaction from the Ijaws on this state.

7. Oporoma state.
Taking 73 of Southern Ijaw towns.
Capital city Oporoma.
No reactions.

The remaining 103 Southern Ijaw towns will be in a state that will not be Koluama by name but

8. Southern Ijaw state.
With Koluama as state capital.
Because the reactions from the Ijaw Nation was that Koluama cannot be the state name.

9.Ogbia State.
Comprising of the Ogbia Ijaw people.
Capital city Ogbia town.

Some Ogbia Ijaw people say they will need more than a state, but things are done very fairly without no partiality here with the acceptance of each of the 65 Lovers of Ijaw Nation Organization clan reps, who agrees that things are fair before it is carried out.

10. Nembe state.
Comprising of the Nembe Ijaw people

State Capital Nembe city.
No reactions against it.

11. Brass state
Comprising Of the Brass and Akassa people.
State Capital Akassa

Reactions were that Akassa people deserves a state of their own.
But the fact is that Brass State have just two clans in it unlike other different states with 5,or 4 clans and Akassa people got the state capital so it's okay that way.

12. Central Ijaw state
Comprising of the Abua Odual and Engenni Ijaw people.this does not mean that they are in the centre part of Ijaw land.

State Capital Abua.
No reactions against it.

13. Kalabari State
Comprising of the LGA of Asari Toru, Akuku Toru and Degema LGA.

State capital.
Buguma

No reactions against it from the Ijaw Nation.

14. Okrika State.
Comprising of the Okrika Ijaws of Okrika, Ogu/Bolo and Port Harcourt city LGA.
State capital.
Okrika LGA headquarters.

15. Ibani state.
Comprising of the 57 towns of the Bonny LGA and also the Opobo.

State capital Bonny.

16. Annindokarie state.
Comprising the whole Annindokarie people of which their home is in the border of 3 States.
They are the only Ijaws not on the mainland Ijaw Republic. The rest Ijaws have perferct boundaries with each other, Itsekiri which will be a state under Oduduwa Republic is not in mainland Oduduwa Republic.
Not all USA, UK and France States are in the country mainland. Little part of Eleme people seperates this Annindokarie people from mainland Ijaw Republic
State capital Afam.

17 Obolo State.
Comprising of the Obolo Ijaw people of Andoni Eastern Obolo and Ibeno LGA

State capital Central Obolo which is Eastern Obolo LGA headquarters.

18.Oro state.
The Oro people of which they are Obolo people and Obolo are Ijaw people even Oro is under IYC today.
The small LGA sharing pattern in Akwa-Ibom state favoured them in a way other Ijaw areas were not privileged to have.

The Federal Capital city will be in centre of Ijaw Republic Which is many parts of Epie and Atissa clans areas of Yenagoa and the Wilberforce Island. Amassoma will also enter the Fct.
The federal capital territory.

Ijaws we've suffered too much
I'm not afraid to be arrested for standing for the rights of my Ijaw people. They unjustly Balkanized us into more than 6 States when all our areas are together and we share boundaries with each other.
We the Lovers of Ijaw Nation Organization of which we have clan reps in the 65 clans of the Ijaw Nation and of which by the grace of God I am the President of the group are the ones doing the Ijaw Central dialect and the Ijaw Republic.
All the areas spoken of here in Ijaw Republic are under these Organization of Ijaw National Congress INC and Ijaw Youth Council IYC till today.

My Ijaw people the time has come for Ijaw Republic.
I am not afraid to get arrested for standing for the rights of my Ijaw people.
We are not slaves.
You cannot beat a child and ask him or her not to cry this is exactly what they are doing to our Ijaw people.
If I am arrested my Ijaw people should not betray me at all.
And I know my Ijaw people will not, because I will not betray them either.
The country main express will be done in the heart of Ijaw Republic and it will pass through Ijaw territories from lenght to lenght and edge to edge without passing other tribes areas.
Left hand side, ijaw towns all through right hand side Ijaw towns all through from Apoi in Ondo state to Ibeno Akwa-Ibom state.Though bridges will be done but it's normal.
We have seen our Ijaw Nation as a Republic of its own already and all the 18 States Governors of the Ijaw Republic is what we are arranging now, we Will not betray our Ijaw tribe and our Ijaw tribe shouldn't betray we the Lovers of Ijaw Nation Organization created to see to it that Ijaw Nation is balanced organized united and free from partiality and all forms of discrimination among Ijaws at all times.
We've suffered too much as Ijaw people. Time to break the chain. If I am arrested Ijaw should destroy all crude oil Pipeline and
Bring this Nigeria to none existing. Destroy it.
I am the Moses of the Ijaw people sent by God to free my Ijaw people from this curse called Nigeria I'm not afraid at all. And I can never betray my Ijaw struggles and Ijaw people because if i do so that means I will be betraying my God who brought me to defend my Ijaw people without fear.

Ijaw don't betray me.
I am not afraid, and nothing will do any of our 18 state governors because even the Bible say among all that you gave me, none was lost.
Ijaw Nation please should not betray the Lovers of Ijaw Nation Organization and we swear to never betray the Ijaw Nation.
Forward this write up to the whole world already Britain have gotten booklet and have now known of our Ijaw Republic forward this write up to all Ijaw groups to all None Ijaw groups to all Nigerian groups.
We Ijaws are now a Republic of our own we are not Nigerians again.

We have 18 States with a federal capital territory forward it to everywhere.
My Ijaw people if I am arrested destroy this Nigerian crude oil pipelines it's time for Ijaw Republic.

I am not afraid. I am the Moses of my Ijaw people.
I am General Ditari.

Ijaw Republic is our Ijaw tribe present country.
We are no longer Nigerians.

Forward it everywhere everybody want to forward it to both Ijaw groups and none Ijaw groups.
The time has come.

General Ditari speaks.[/s]
I would have supported your ambitious move as bold and crucial if only you didn't deviate and start projecting fantasies.

It's only an insane idiat that would include Igbo territories as part of Ijaw nation. You must have drank ogogoro when you included Igbos of Opobo, Bonny and Obigbo in your nonsense write up. Trying to annex any part of Igboland under whatever guise will only end in disaster for you guys.

Opobo, Bonny and Obigbo are Igbo territories and they're not in any contention. If you like involve the UN, facts on ground will still work against you. If on the other hand you chose violence, you will still be dealt with because ijaw is not and has never been mates with Igbos.

Stop your ogogoro induced fantasies of trying to annex Igbo territories now so you don't suffer the consequences.

The ijaws have been using terror and intimidation in grabbing other minorities lands and also threatening them on top. However, they're too small to challenge Igbos, they've never been any match with us and will never be. Going forward, we have to start Igbo nationalism that would be geared towards reintegrating all our people both in the SE, SS and NC.

I doubt our people that share virtually everything with us will decide to leave us and embrace total strangers that have nothing in common with them. If the Ijaws try to stop them from reuniting with us, we will crush them.

“ If I follow APC for this length of time and they don’t give South-East an opportunity, I will feel bad. I will feel bad but what I will do if I stayed this length of time like I stayed in PDP and that happened, I wouldn’t be able to change. It depends on what God places in my mind. But I feel strongly that the future of this country is in the hand of God and what pleases God He will do”. ~~Dave Umahi.

Not a few Nigerians are dum.b, they always act impulsively without considering boomerang effect. They accuse Igbos of wanting to leave Nigeria and at the same time still encourage a gang up against them.

The war ended in 1970 and Igbos did all they could to reintegrate with Nigeria. However, the favour was never returned, those that believed they won the war errorneously thought they could perpetually make Igbos suffer the consequences forever. Alas, like how the cookie crumbles, they forgot there could be a sucker punch.

I can bet a million naira that the last straw that will break the carmel's back is come 2023 and Igbos are sidelined, whether by hook or crook. The domino effect is going to be like a psunami and it will definitely sink Nigeria. This is not a threat nor wishful thinking but a permutation any smart political observer can deduce easily.

Many people rightly observed that Biafra agitation spiked immediately after Goodluck Jonathan left office and Buhari emerged with a worldview against Igbos. To Igbos, GEJ represented a new Nigeria that is inclusive for all while Buhari represented a return to the old Nigeria that is anti-Igbo. As a result, many of the Igbo masses lost faith in Nigeria. Today, it's mainly the Igbo political class that still believes in Nigeria. If Nigerians are smart people, they would have looked for ways to reintegrate the Igbo masses but unfortunately, they're not.

By 2023, the Igbo elite will have no other option than to align with the Igbo masses in pushing for break-up, because it would finally down on them that they would never be accepted fully in Nigeria again. The situation in the North and the collapse of our economy will even make it easier for Igbos to deal a sucker punch on Nigeria post 2023. Personally, I don't really think having an Igbo man in Aso rock will make any significant difference because Nigeria is already a dead horse. I even want the presidency to elude Igbos so that the country's break-up will be expedited. However, it is ironical that while Igbos who want Nigeria to break up ASAP are smart enough to be against Igbo presidency, those other Nigerians that want the country to remain one against all odds are still the ones preaching against or hoping that no Igbo man will be elected as president. I laugh because people perish for lack of knowledge.

Now look at that quote from Umahi I highlighted in the first paragraph and read between the lines. He said what every smart political pundit already knows. In other words, he is saying that only God knows what the situation would be like in 2023 without an Igbo president.

If you think that what IPOB is doing is hurting Nigeria's corporate existence then wait for post 2023 and see what is going to happen.

The so-called cradle of Islam is now empowering their women after realizing their many years of foolhardiness yet those in the North only use theirs as sex objects. SMH.

Don’t mind that mindless pikin, which air force & Army will he use to repel them, what will stop Cameroon from invading their territory old parts of Eastern Nigeria? Then they will run to Nigeria for help to come & mediate? Who will demarcate the border lines? Till date Cross Rivers is in dispute with Ebonyi state over boundary lines, Anambra state is contesting oil wells with Kogi State, Imo State is contesting boundaries with Rivers State? Sometimes these children have heads filled with vacuum & feel they have the audacity to criticize people in power but by their words have nothing to offer.
Stop yapping rubbish kiddo. You're totally ignorant undecided

But my question is, after the south goes their way, how will that stop bandits terror from still infiltrating the south from the north?

Will there be giant walls barricade or will it be the southern security forces that would defeat them?
Lol, I'm surprised you're asking this sort of question. It's a no brainer, once we go our separate ways, no fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram or bandits would dare attack any part of Biafra or Oduduwa. They will have no choice than to be operating in their enclave. For instance, if herdsmen attack a village in Abia State, the entire area will be cordoned off untill the culprits are apprehended.

Secondly, there won't be open grazing. So any isolated attack anywhere will be easily dealt with. Should they operate from any fulani or Hausa settlement, then the entire settlement will be codoned off and house to house search conducted until the criminals are arrested.

Balkanization will restore peace across Southern Nigeria.

All these are caused by Tinubu and Hausa-Fulani who sent down rain to come and flood the streets of Owerri.

Tinubu and Hausa-Fulani has refused to build proper drainage system in Owerri Imo state.

Snapping the suburbs of a city after a heavy downpour and displaying it as news is what I don't understand. Is there any city or town in Nigeria that doesn't experience flash floods after heavy rainfall? So how exactly is this news?!

You are very correct. This has been my call for many years because I'm good at projecting into the future. The core north will never recover from the self made damage they did to themselves and it is others that will suffer it. There's extreme poverty in the far north caused by illiteracy and religion. Bad leadership and harsh climatic conditions has made it worse. If southern Nigeria with all the education, entrepreneurial spirit and friendly religion plus communal/club support can still be facing difficult challenges at survival that has pushed millions of her youth into internet fraud plus illicit drug trade, just imagine what the situation will be in the far north. It is a nightmare!
The only solution is for the South and middlebelt to break lose from them to face the consequences of their poor decisions. If we fail to break lose, millions of our own people will be killed in few years to come. You just can't help them. Where will you start from? The failure of the US in Afghanistan should be an eye opener to everyone. The US trained 300,000 Afghan troops and equipped them more than what the Taliban can ever dream of but we all can see the result today. Where Christian soldiers not been murdered by fellow soldiers of the muslim faith because they felt the terrorist are their brothers? All the effort of those soldiers have become waste.
Leave the core north to their problem while you can.
Things are gradually becoming alarming already and the direction it is going has become clear like daylight yet Southern leaders are still behaving like there is nothing to be wary of. It seems their greed and foolishness won't allow them to start rallying now.

I really pity the middle belt because their region has been so distorted over the years under the hegemonic core North that trying to draw a map is now a complex puzzle.

The middle belt will likely have the most shapeless map in the world if they eventually pull it off grin grin

lol, within 4 years of a sincere leader, bandits or terrorists will be wipe out. Because Buhari is weak that's why things are increasing. El-elfai said something last time which I believed him, he said no one in the forest is innocent, that airforce should go all out and bomb everyone, they already communicated same to Buhari but he refused to do so. If government wants to end, they will.
Lol, you're only fantasizing. The form of islamic radicalization going on in the North now is on the same level with Afghanistan.

When you add extreme poverty, mass illiteracy, mass joblessness, very bad leadership, a porous border with failed countries etc then you will have a clear picture of how bad it is.

Lastly, with the extent of covert encouragement they received from both elites and the masses over there through rhetoric, ransom payments, fake amnesty and government pampering which all culminated to a multi billion naira industry.

I repeat that nothing can save North now, the only reasonable thing to do now is to distance ourselves as much as we can otherwise, the heat and spillover will get to Southerners soon.
PoliticsYou Think What's Happening Will Remain In North? Then You Need To Hear This! by proeast(op): 11:03am On Sep 02, 2021
The earlier Southerners break away, the better for them. The North will never recover again, I mean THEY WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE NORMAL LIFE AGAIN. There is currently hundreds of thousands of bandits currently operating in the North and millions hoping to join them.

There is an organized syndicate that is responsible for the limitless flow of AK47 rifles proliferating across that region, particularly between Libya, Mali, Niger, Chad and Northern Nigeria. Put all these together and add the massive illiteracy and poverty in that godforsaken region, then you will realize that the situation will only continue to deteriorate.

Once the North becomes saturated and awash with the hobbesian state, the competition will become unbearable for them and they will naturally start moving South for better prospects. Even Lagos won't be safe and no one would dare use our highways anymore. No one will dare go outside the cities anymore. Then gradually again, they will start infiltrating our cities. I don't need to be a CIA agent to decipher this, no because any careful observer can easily deduct it. Winter is coming o ye Southerners!

Lastly, don't think that when Buhari leaves aso rock that all these will stop, no it wouldn't because the "cancer" has metastated. The only way we can save ourselves down South is to severe our links with the North. They chose this path and must go it alone.
