1759ademola:This guy is sick! Why are you so bitter and sounding so frustrated?! FYI, you guys did not contribute more in making Lagos what it is than other Nigerians did. If you're educated and enlightened, you will know that Lagos has a special status in Nigeria, just like Abuja. You that is from Osun has no more rights than any other Nigerian from say Delta, Kano or Enugu. People are not going to SW more than they are going to the NE, NW or any other region. How is SW more developed than war-torn NE? You are hiding behind Lagos to promote a dead region. Stop bragging primitively with Lagos because it wasn't of your making! Igbos and others will continue to flood into Lagos as long as Nigeria remains one and those with money will continue to buy up the properties while those with primitive mindsets and rubbish sense of entitlement will be pushed into the slums of neighboring Ogun state and there is nothing you can do about it. |
GBOKASINCHA:Honestly, I pray APC gives him their ticket. True to God, the kind beating he will receive and the margin of defeat he will suffer will respect social distance rule ![]() The bullion van general has expired, we are waiting for his burial announcement ![]() |
He who laughs last, laughs best. Who is the coward now if not Tinubu ![]() |
I have been so happy since Saturday, and the disgrace that occurred to these men listed below in Edo state is responsible for it: Adams Oshomole Ahmed Tinubu aka the bullion van general Hope Uzodinma aka the Supreme Court governor Ganduje aka the dollar man Shame to you all ![]() |
Yobabad:The answer is (a) Yoruba Muslims ![]() I know I got it, where is my reward ![]() |
The humiliation they suffered in Edo state was incalculable. The shame and embarrassment was total so the only way out was for them to sneak out of the state like theives. This is just the beginning of their disastrous downfall, especially for the bullion van godfather of Lagos. The kind of insults, derision and invectives that is going to be hurled in his direction going forward will be massive. He is the proverbial butterfly that thought he is a bird. If he was smart as he and his zomb.ies claimed, he wouldn't have exposed himself the way he did in the Edo governorship elections, now the damage to him is total. What just happened in Edo is a tip of the iceberg compared to how Nigerians will disgrace APC and whoever will be their flag bearer in the 2023 presidential elections. You can't sow suffering and anguish on Nigerians and expect to be supported by the same people who are at the receiving end. At the pace things are going, anything or anyone that associates with APC including the dullard in cheif will be seen as enemy No.1. Shame on Tinubu! Shame on APC!! Shame on Oshomole!!! |
manuelreports:That makes it the more scary. That guy isn't normal at all. |
Mikecold:The three biggest losers are Ize Iyamu, Oshomole and Tinubu in no particular order. Oshomole is no doubt on his way to extinction politically while the humiliation on Tinubu is going to be the beginning of his disastrous fall. |
greatdreamer:You're right, those factors you listed also contributed. The APC evil men in the likes of Osho the beast, the Dollar theif of Kano, the bullion van rogue of Lagos and the rest were hoping to unleash mayhem and whatever it takes to win by all means but the threat of Visa ban announced by USA and UK scared the sh!t out of them. Wike too helped in countering those evil men and that slogan. Shame on APC! Shame on the rogue godfathers!! |
dyera:Honestly, big shame on Ambode! If Ambode had the kind of courage Obaseki displayed, he would have been able to save Lagos from the wicked grip of Tinubu. |
Gondonu:Hahaha, they should keep these two retired godfathers on suicide watch. Sniper should be banned wherever they are right now. Edo no be Lagos for real ![]() |
Hahaha, I laugh in bullion van ![]() Obaseki don win! PDP don win! IPOB don win! Edo people don win! Ize Iyamu don lose! APC don lose! Tinubu don lose! Oshomole don lose! It is safe to say that Oshomole is now officially retired. Likewise, this is the beginning of the fall of Tinubu. More humiliation awaits him. |
Holyterrorist:Lolz, in your dreams. Ize Iyamu has lost out and there is nothing they can do about it. Edo no be Lagos ![]() |
4. People Are Wary Of Another Subversion of Justice: There is a general consensus that APC is no longer as popular as it was in 2015 when they came to power. Since then, there is a general believe that they are using state institutions like the Judiciary, Army and Police in forcing themselves on the people. Classic examples of where the will of the people was not allowed to take hold include Imo state, Osun state and Kogi state. People of Edo state and indeed other Nigerians are wary that same could happen to Edo state and thus all eyes is on the state to see what will happen. 5. It Was A Fight Between Forces Of Darkness and Light: Edo election was largely seen as a battle between forces of darkness and light. On one side was an amalgam of questionable characters such as Oshobaba, The godfather of Lagos aka the Bullion Van General, The Dollar man of Kano, A notorious Tout among others Vs. Obaseki and The Edo People. The evil forces were also trying to play God, one of them even called Obaseki's wife barren. That statement angered lots of Nigerians and helped to bring more support to Obaseki. The final verdict of the election is yet to be announced but the anything short of allowing the people's wish to stand could cause crises. |
1. It Was A Battle Between The Godfathers and The Masses: Nigerian politics is infamously known as a dirty business where the gentle and civilized people should avoid for their own sanity and safety. The stakes were taking so high albeit in the wrong direction and only those with godfathers who has enough illgotten money, connections and the mindset to unleash violence were expected to win in such do or die scenario. Obaseki is largely seen to have performed above average in Edo state, but that notwithstanding, a certain godfather unilaterally decided to remove him and install his own puppet in the person of Ize Iyamu. The godfather who is lacking in integrity and character, forgot that the same person he wants to replace the incumbent with, was the person he once condemned as having nothing to offer. He forcefully pushed the incumbent governor from their party, replaced him and joined forces with other godfathers. On one side was the godfathers namely Oshomole, Tinubu, Kabaka etc. Vs. Obaseki & the people of Edo state. 2. Nigerians Are Angry At the Ruling Party: The suffering Nigerians are currently passing through is unprecedented in the history of the country yet the ruling party still behaves like all is well and go about inflicting one punitive measure after another on the suffering masses with no care at all. Frustration among the people is now high and fast approaching a tipping point. The Edo state election may be a litmus test at the extent of the people's anger against the ruling party and its anti people policies. 3. It Was A Fight Between A Bully & An Underdog: People always like to support the underdog, especially when they're fighting against a wicked bully. The way the godfathers ganged up against Obaseki was too mien and ruthless. Oshomole even called the Lagos godfather to help him as well as a notorious tout called Kabaka while Obaseki had no one on his side except the masses. |
Any casual observer will easily assume that Nigeria is conducting a national elections considering the amount of energy, passion and following the Edo governorship elections is generating. Even people in far away places like Lagos, Imo, Sokoto and Kano etc. are so interested in the outcome of the election, regardless of the fact that it has no direct bearing on their own states. However, to those that understand how politics is played in Nigeria, Edo may be just one state out of 36 others but the outcome of it will have ripple effect on others and even the Nigerian polity. Below are the 7 reasons why most politically inclined Nigerians are following the Edo Guber, bumper to bumper. |
I like the sophisticated set up. This should be the new normal. Shame to the jan.jaweed party called APC and its supporters!! |
Osagyefo98:I wonder why you hardly make sense. Member of what exactly? |
Nice one Ayade ![]() |
PDP and their agents should ensure that voting is concluded and results tallied and recorded in all units, wards and collation centres before it gets dark. If they can achieve that then the wishes of Edo people will stand. On the other hand, if these desperados called APC should drag it into the night, then there is problem. That is when the witches and wizards in them will start manifesting. They robbed Imo State people! They robbed Osun state people! They robbed Kogi state people! Now, they are desperate to do same to Edo state people but you guys shouldn't allow them. APC has nothing to offer except suffering and sorrows. Janja.weed party of sadists!! |
Lol, this NBS with its statistics never seize to amaze me. Oil rich SS is now in the same category with war-torn NE? How come? As in what happened?? The only state from the North that appeared in the list is Kano, and it got a measly $130,000 ![]() Meanwhile, who drew that ridiculous map ![]() |
Kamanuozuzu:The Bishop said the absolute truth. Nnamdi Kanu is building a formidable group with a passion on ensuring that Biafra becomes a reality. He has galvanized millions of followers both within Nigeria and abroad, and they're well organized. Some ignorant people are underestimating the threat IPOB is posing on Nigeria's continued existence and how they've exposed the evils going on in this country which has encouraged others to key into their agenda. Independence struggle is never easy and always takes time and blood. However, any determined separatist group that has genuine reason always triumph in the end. Check history and you will see the likes of ANC in South Africa, Zanu PF in Zimbabwe, SPLM in Sudan etc. Stable countries often find it difficult to overcome determined separatist groups especially those with the sort of following and connections IPOB commands, and it becomes worse for weak and destabilized countries like Nigeria. The only hope of Nigeria overcoming the challenge of IPOB is through an honest dialogue. |
Elections in this country is nothing but major scam. In Imo, we voted overwhelmingly for Ihedioha of PDP but the Supreme Court reversed it and gave it to a puppet. SMH. |
Look at these idiats, do you have respect before? Go and tell that to Ghana and Congo that have been humiliating you! |
This is impressive. He should do like the Iranian kid sensation and join any European club academy so they can groom him into a world class player. His father should not dull. |
Oh my God, this is so nostalgic! We watched Wilie-wilie as kids back in the early 90's. Other characters in the horror soap opera include Chele, Akirika etc. Chele's husband used Wilie-wilie for money ritual but his spirit returned to haunt them. Men, that's a classic! The ominous sound track alone and Wilie-wilie's horrific face used to scare the sh!t out of kids. |
Jokers, so Nigeria obtained loan from China, only to use same loan in building railway in Niger republic?? I'm not getting it, is Niger rep now part of Nigeria that will make these guys to be building railway within their territory? Secondly, of what benefit is this railway to the Nigerian economy?? Trump is building a fence to stop Mexican migrants from flooding America but here we have buffoons building expensive speed rails into Niger, a very poor country that has historically flooded Nigeria with the worst form of migrants any sane country should totally avoid!! Are these people not mad?? Why are Southern politicians so timid and queit in the face of all these rubbish going on?? It is an open secret that this man claiming to be from Daura is actually from Niger republic but instead of him to be discreet about his alien identity, he still has the effrontery to shove it in our faces?! |
helinues:Read my post above, that is going to be the next agenda. You guys can also reintegrate your kits and kins in Kwara and Kogi, although I'm afraid that Kwara may be irreversible because the Fulanis have entrenched themselves there. |
IPOB and other Igbo separatist groups should in due time start physical visitation to these places. We need to start reaching out to them now! The Igbos in places like Edo, Benue etc. are being suppressed and marginalized terribly. We can start by having meetings with them under any Igbo name umbrella. There is no how they will not unanimously agree to reunite with us considering that there is strength in numbers and once they are back in the fold, they will automatically become a majority group and non of their oppressive neighbors can dare to oppress them again. Nigeria made it profitable for them to deny being Igbo and punished those that accept their Igbo heritage, but once the breakup becomes irreversibly clear, these Igbos will be falling over themselves to rejoin the great Igbo race. Now is the time for us to begin Igbo nationalism! |
kingzizzy:All these nonsense happened in the "dark ages" we now live in the information age and all those mistakes has to be corrected especially now that Nigeria's future is shaky. |
helinues:Go and sit one place my friend! I like what IPOB is doing by identifying our kits and kins Nigeria scattered with its useless boundaries. Now it is evidently clear that this country is living in its last years we need to start preparing and getting in touch with all Igbos in the present day SE, SS and Middle belt. We will not leave even 0.01% of our people behind once the country finally breaks up |
