NkanAkpanika:Yes, it will service Abia too in the meantime, but in the long run Abia also needs to dredge the Obehie river same way Akwa Ibom dredged this river in collaboration with the Igbo businessman but we all know how Nigerian government always witch-hunts Igbo interests because they're afraid we will become more prosperous and independent to push for Biafra. If this river can be so easily dredged by up to 14 kilometers, then the Obehie river can also be dredged quite easily. |
NkanAkpanika: |
Wow, interesting! Akwa Ibom is really making progress. You need a synergy with "developers" to ensure optimal growth and the governor understands that! |
We have bastards as governors, especially the fool parading himself as my governor. I mean, how can one explain such massive destruction of economic assets without recourse to law?! Let's even assume that the person in question is guilty of the accusations, then who gave police the right to destroy the properties? Why not arrest the culprit and prosecute him according to law? The sort of disgusting and oppressive things that happen in Igboland under federal government authorization is one of the reasons why Igbos will always hold on to Biafra agitation passionately. Utterly useless country!! |
Why won't it be so dirty and slimy when it's actually serving as the world's largest toilet I once lived in Lokoja and it was so shocking seeing one third of the residents defecating inside the River Niger. |
Break the rubbish contraption already! Nigeria is not the first country to break up and won't be the last! People also had same thought about Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Sudan, Ethiopia etc but they're now all history, and Nigeria will equally become history soon. No amount of rhetoric will stop it because the rot has festered beyond redemption. And who says it would be difficult to divide? It wouldn't at all, because Africa is now more integrated regardless of national borders so Nigerians will still interact with each other but now as nationals of different countries. |
The comments on Twitter are quite hilarious ![]() |
kayuseful:Well in as much as I agree with you on Southern unity, but I seriously doubt it will ever work due to ideological differences, some of which he aptly pointed out. Again, just like he pointed out, Yorubas are not reliable allies, they are fairweather in nature and would abandon you at the first sign of trouble. His post is all over the place which means he or she must have struck a nerve. |
Iamicekid:Nigerians are really suffering o, you mean a Uber/Bolt driver should pay a staggering 500k annually for ordinary self-con apartment only to be husling everyday to earn an average of 3k daily, which translates roughly to 90k i.e. if he works everyday including Saturday and Sundays! In a year, it amounts to less than 1.1 million, yet he coughs out almost half of it to pay for rent Again, he could be involved in an accident that could hospitalize him if he survives, and he may end up losing his car or spending over a 100k to repair! What about other risks like falling into the hands of kidnappers for ransom, organ havesters or just robbers who could snatch his car This country is indeed a total sh1thole, jeez |
tonydodo:Oyigbo alongside Aba and Onitsha are IPOB's three major strongholds. Those are the places you will find their most ardent hardcore members. Tension is seriously building in Nigeria, and those clamoring for balkanization are increasing in numbers by the day. At this pace, I wonder if Nigeria will still be in existence by 2023. |
Xisnin:Read that rubbish you wrote again, this time slowly and tell me it makes sense. So IPOB will go all the way to Ibadan, in Yoruba heartland to be doing rally for Biafra and Oduduwa without Yorubas working with them? Lazy Nigerian youth spotted. |
Hmnnn. Like play, like play this is getting out of hand o. Northern cabals must be shiiting in their pants now ![]() |
This is getting serious o. Like play, like play, Nigeria don dey break up o |
Biafran separatists are everywhere in Nigeria and abroad fighting for Biafra, but these ones just wake and decide to be decieving themselves up and down. Until I see them matching the streets in their numbers calling for Oduduwa nation, then all these things they are doing is just rubbish. |
I know it will be another useful idiat in the person of an afonja that will carry it in his oblong coconut head. |
This is a globally recognized way to protest against any nation. Pakistanis often burn Indian flag, Hong Kong do same against China, Palistan do same against Israel, Iranians also burn American flags. So, if IPOB/Biafrans who want their own country decide to burn Nigeria's flag, it is same thing. They don't believe in Nigeria and consider the country to be its enemy. |
dokie:They are not smart all, if they're they will either forcefully team up with IPOB or form their own parallel group that will work in tandem with IPOB. By so doing, they will never be taken for granted anymore. At the moment, IPOB is humiliating the Nigerian government and putting it under serious pressure in global diplomacy. Once they can be as passionate as IPOB or team up with them, Nigerian government will be at their mercy. The funny thing is that whatever incident that made the army to destroy their villages, worse has been committed in the North yet their villages wasn't attacked. Isn't that ridiculous?! The North and SW have been using propaganda and lies in making them to see Igbos as their enemy just to ensure there won't be any unity of purpose among us thus making it easy for them to keep exploiting their resources unhindered. SMH. |
The double standards is alarming to say the least. At every little provocation in the South, the army will go ballistic and start burning houses, arresting people, destroying properties and even killing unarmed people yet we see in the news how they're being killed and battered in the North only for them to retreat with their tails in-between their legs. This country is really fvrked up and I wonder why Southern leaders will keep quiet in the face of all these injustice. Tufiakwa!! |
timay:It does make a difference. Perception is very important in international politics and that's why some countries would rely on propaganda to cover up some defects. What Macron said is a public declaration that they're weak and vulnerable, and can't stand on its own. Which is very bad, especially on a continent that is living on past glory. Some information are said to be classified and thus would only be revealed in secret, in closed door meetings. However, the world should be wary of China becoming a superpower nation that would supercede the United States. If any country should be a superpower, that country shouldn't be a Communist nation like China, that would be inherently dangerous to global peace and stability. Aside being an open democracy with two strong parties checkmating each other, the United States has a developed and free press, very strong institutions that put its president in check, a relatively all inclusive rainbow nation with people from all works of life present in virtually every strata of their economy but same can't be said about China. In fact, China is the polar opposite of such qualities. A country that does not even believe in its people having a free nation and liberty would do worse on other nations. Even almost all its neighbors are being bullied in recent times, and the stronger they become, the worse their bullying. India, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Hong Kong etc. all have tales of woes to tell about China. God forbid that China will rule the world unilaterally else we are doomed. |
chrisxxx:Honestly, I thought I was the only one that observed that self-insulting statement by Macron. He wasn't smart at all by saying that, and I bet some EU countries will be embarrassed. How can an entire continent, worse still the EU, be subservient to China, a country that is still considered a developing country in some aspects? What a shameful own goal. Now I can see why UK left the EU, they actually did the right thing because it's obviously not worth it. |
BLAISECAMPAORE:Your ignorance stinks to high heavens. If you're educated and still wrote this nonsense then your parents should sue all the schools you attended from kindergarten to whatever level you stopped, because it was all scam! Talking about baby factory, is there any form of baby factory worse than mass procreation by wretched people only to send them all into the streets to beg for alms?! Northern Nigeria is home to 10 million out of school children roaming the streets in the name of almajiri. Who is asking impoverished North for free food when a good percentage of them are now surviving on charities and food aid programs from across the world. North's acclaimed food production is overrated because we still import a good portion of the food we consume while a significant proportion is grown locally in the South. SW is actually the Ritual/skull mining capital of the world not the SE. You're knashing your teeth and pouring saliva everywhere because you were told some home truth. Writing gibberish here will not save the North from its self inflicted doom. The whole world knows about the wretched situation of the North and no amount of denial will change that unfortunate reality. Two of the world's worst terror groups are active in the North, killing, maiming and destroying on a daily basis. Check all developmental indices and you will see that Northern Nigeria is at the rock bottom. Even Sanusi warned your elite that should the North stand alone today, they will be the most wretched and terrible place in the world. That is why middle belt is fighting to break away from any association with the North. Ask yourself, where do you think the North will be in say 10 years time considering how things are going there? Make una dey there make pant dey wear una. I just dey pity you guys. |
Lol, these are nothing but lofty utopian dreams that are far from reality. You guys should stop decieving yourselves. North is doing next to nothing aside entrenching nepotism and corruption. They should first curtail unbridled procreation and massive illiteracy before anything else. They're the ones who are light years behind in every ramifications. |
ceaser:At this minute as I'm typing, a very long column of military Hilux vans are slowly driving past in front of my office with heavily armed soldiers walking alongside on foot. I know they're doing this in anticipation of the sit at home tomorrow. I wonder how a country can successfully thrive under such tense atmosphere and acrimony against one another. Nigeria has a very bleak and unpredictable future. |
Fear fear people. Always foot dragging and unwilling to take bold and courageous steps for their own collective good. Is this country not fighting all manner of wars with itself already? What could be worse than what Nigerians are currently experiencing?? SMH. |
Laugh wan kill me die ![]() Lol, is that why they're afraid to take the bull by the horn ![]() Home truth coming from one of their own. I hope they won't call Bisi Akande IPOB. |
Coldie:Honestly, you talk like someone who isn't educated. Every available data be it from World bank, CIA, Budgit, UN, NBS, CBN etc. all show that Northern Nigeria is the world's poverty capital yet you're here talking gibberish. Aren't you the one who is brainwashed and saying things based on beer parlor gists and assumptions?? I served in the North years back and I saw poverty and destitution walking on all fours! The North is presently fvrked up and their future is very very gloomy. Should Nigeria break up right now, they're finished! |
Coldie:I read the hogwash you wrote but couldn't find any sense in it. You mean the same North that is 87% made up of wretched people? The same North that is mostly illiterate? What is the difference between North and Niger rep when they mingle together, live together and impersonate one another? Of what importance is the trans Saharan route to Egypt? Or do you think this is 1570? Did anyone ask you to identify to yourself or the state you come from? To be honest with you, you're so ignorant and you wear your ignorance like a batch of honor. SMH. |
BLAISECAMPAORE:Oh really?! Onions, tomatoes, pepper and beef is what they're going to feed 100 million people with? Good luck to them! The same items you mentioned is not giving to us in the South for free, rather we buy them with our money same way we will buy them when Nigeria is broken up and borders redrawn. How many of the North's 100 million destitute population is into tech development, freelancing, innovations, SMEs, sports, music etc. A population that is largely illiterate and poverty stricken is a huge liability on any nation. How many of them are in the diaspora? FYI, oil and gas, industries, an educated and ambitious population is not the only asset South has. In fact, remmitances coming from Southerners alone is almost as huge as what we earn from oil and gas yet again Southerners constitute as much as 95% of that forex. The North will regret bitterly the day Nigeria breaks up and it will definitely be in our own generation! |
