PoliticsRe: Aisha Umar: Abaribe Kicks As Buhari Nominates Chairman, DG For PENCOM Board by proeast(m): 9:33am On Sep 30, 2020
They're already beginning to get scared that South is gradually rising against them, but like a suicidal maniac, instead of retracing its steps and trying to be as fair as it could without assaulting the sensibilities of others, they continue to overlook the risks.

Any discernible Nigerian can easily deduce that Nigeria is breaking. As a vice President, Osinbajo shunned political correctness to ring the alarm bell on Nigeria's continued existence but instead of the fool's to heed his warning, they came calling for his head.

The middle belt has continued to distance themselves from the North. Forming independent groups and increasingly aligning with the South on any issue of national importance, and such is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria. It was a middle belt senator that shot down the water resources/RUGA bill. The middle belt and Southern Kaduna and Taraba have been at the receiving end of their attrocities and these people are obviously fed up and waiting for a trigger. The SW formed Amotekun & they cried their eyes out but couldn't do anything, the same Amotekun is now combing their forests and extermiting terrorists and their cells yet they couldn't do anything. The same thing is happening in the East while the stoopid governors keep covering it for political correctness. At the international scene, IPOB is now dealing series of diplomatic blows on them which they've been denying until recently when they began to lament about IPOB.

The truth is that Nigeria is already breaking up and that is why the North is afraid to challenge with force each time the South poses a serious threat. Once the East and West should agree on any issue now, they won't dare go against it.

Parasites feeling funky.
PoliticsRe: Aisha Umar: Abaribe Kicks As Buhari Nominates Chairman, DG For PENCOM Board by proeast(m):
I really pity Buhari and the North he thinks he is representing well. They may think that Igbos or the SE is the loser here, but no, in reality Nigeria and particularly the North that wants it to remain unbalkanized are the ultimate loser here.

They have been riding roughshod and committing all manner of attrocities against the South with impunity while believing that nothing will happen. That Southerners are slaves that will always take whatever rubbish is pushed to them. However, he who laughs last, laughs best. I really pity them because they don't know what is coming. They have this erroneous believe that nothing can break Nigeria, but it's obvious they are poor students of history. A study of what happened in USSR, Yugoslavia and Bosnia will easily reveal a pattern that wherever one group tries to subjugate and maltteat others in a heterogeneous nation, the end result is always balkanization.

A region that adds nothing to help make this country great is the one dictating and maltreating those that are doing so much for Nigeria.

Aside terrorism, poverty, corruption, diseases, over population of mostly destitutes, infant mortality, maternal mortality, polio etc. is there anything significant they're bringing to the table? The answer is no! Yet they're exploiting others they should be grateful to.

If only South is smart and calculating, they would have brought these guys to their knees long ago instead of being so clueless and helpless in the face of oppression.

The fact is that with their huge, illiterate, poverty infested and unproductive population, the North will automatically and forever be the world's most miserable and poorest country once Nigeria breaks up, and it's only a matter of time.

I don't know the increment in electricity is so much that the the unit I use to buy at #5000 at the rate of 190 units now is just 79 units. After I bought the unit I felt like I should be crying that why did I vote for Buhari. if this hike in electricity stay I know many people will have to bypass their electricity because I don't think. many people will be able to sustain with this increase including me.
How long does the 190 units/5000 naira bill last and what's your load/appliances like?

I don't know about the place the lady shared but but I'm amazed at how Africans rush to defend Europe. Stating facts is one thing but coming up with anything just to defend the continent is another thing entirely. I mean, despite seeing the skin colour, facial outline and apparent hair texture of the people in the pic, they still insist they are Africans from Cameroon and other African countries. What informed this conclusion? Yes, they could be right cause there are Africans that have these looks but seeing some Spanish looking people right in the country of Spain and concluding/insisting they must be Africans and not Spaniards simply cause they are poor is hilarious. Do you guys think you have the monopoly of poverty? Again, I have never been to Europe so I know nothing about the place in the pic but going by the lady's subsequent comments, she seems to be very detailed about the places she's talking about. I don't why why this is unbelievable to many.

Someone above is blaming the people by saying it's self inflicted. Are you saying there are no such poor people in Europe who aren't necessarily into drugs and stuff like that? Being poor is already hurtful enough, being blamed for being poor is sorrowful. This isn't just a couple of homeless peeps like you see downtown in any developed city. This isn't just a ghetto (characterized by the people). This is a slum (characterized by the environment). This is a whole community with men, women and children. They all inflicted this on themselves and somehow decided to come live together? Fact is, there are slums everywhere inhabited by locals. What makes a country better than the other is the number of such slums, how run down they are and the population of people living there.
1 million likes for this post. Honestly, I'm shocked too seeing how some Africans were falling over themselves just to defend or disprove what is obviously hard facts. It's quite ridiculous and a perfect example of slave mentality.

One thing I can glean from these pictures is that African or African countries can equally develop to global standards once we are passionate about it.

The Whites have really tried so much to hide this shameful part of their countries while making it appear like everything is perfect there while everything is wrong with Africa. Africa also has its own success stories that ought to be told too but they always ignore it and only like showing wars, slums, diseases, poverty and other shameful things about us just to entrench a bad steorotype about us.

God of mercy, so such godforsaken places can be found in Europe too shocked shocked shocked

Please let this article be in front page

Shey u want Nigeria to be divided?
U want Biafra?
U want to b ur own nation,
U wat to own ur own currency,
U want to make ur decisions,
U want the igbos to rule,
But all u do is sit down in ur house, pressing ur phone and opening ur mouth waaaa,
Without looking at the bigger picture,
Without actually looking at the disadvantages of this supposed freedom,
I see some post here shouting Biafra this and that, oduduwa this and that,u want freedom from Nigeria,u wanted to destroy a relatively peaceful country,
U want to form ur own country as one tribe‍♀️
Lemme quickly point out the little negativities we will face If the division of this country is given a thought,
I don't know much about the yorubas so i.will center this post mainly on the igbos and Biafra.
What are our plans:
Division of a country is not just something u wake up in the morning and u want to do,
There has to be plans, decisions, strategies,on how u plan to stand alone,
If the plan to divide Nigeria does go thru, the amount of suffering we are currently undergoing via unemployment will be tripled and the generation to suffer from it will be this our present generation and the one probably ahead of it,
Cus it takes time to settle in,
It takes time to get an international recognition,
U can't just walk around countries like dat with ur certificate bearing the name Biafra on it,
Because clearly not every country supports Biafra as a nation and won't allow any citizen of the country in theirs to avoid wars of any sort from there rival country Nigeria,
Also not every country or companies inside countries recognizes Biafra as a country,
U can hardly secure any job outside of Nigeria with a Biafra certificate, and if we don't part in good terms with our mother country Nigeria, there won't even be any work there for u,cus clearly there will be stigmatization and u will be fished out as victims of dis disaster.

How many years will it take Biafra to actually stand, how about the development of the country itself, the Nigeria land will be owned majorly by the hausas, and there land are known richly for there production of some raw materials we export for revenue development, materials like tomatoes, onions, leaves rice, beans etc,
They are the best farmers,
How many years will it take Biafra to rebuild the hospitals, schools, companies, churches and other stuffs owned by Nigeria b4 it was divided, that's if we don't seperate peacefully.

And the major factor promoting this division of Nigeria is the anger of corrupt leaders and politicians,
The anger guiding the fact that no Igbo person has ever ruled Nigeria since it's conception ,
This is understandable, but is Biafra any better,
Do u think u can live peacefully for even a mere 10yrs,
Do u think if Biafra is born that the leaders will b any better, our situation will be any better than what it is today,
Then I think u r blind,dumb and prolly stupid,no offence though,
Let's put it on a lower scale:some of the minority troubles Nigerians are facing today are from the igbos, dragging lands,
Greed for money,
Promoting relationship influence in decision makings, hate speeches,
Stigmatization, bribery and corruption, money laundering, fraud etc.
And all these factors amongst our selves,is the love there?
Is the leadership qualities there?
How about justifications of crimes, is it possible under Igbo ruling,
Prior to our states being ruled by our respective tribes,
Are there any developments?all u see is it not still some greedy leaders who cares only for them selves, gathering enough money for themselves and there families and generations after,
Are they any better from the hausas we are running away from,
Have they proven them selves to be any better,
Have they made us proud, have they fulfilled any promises they made to us
If the igbos can't rule a state positively, how about a country, a country housing their tribe's,do u think they will be any different decisions, or different consequence, will the greed disapear or will the hunger become even more, will the pains go away , will they award positivity to were it's due,and if these things don't go as plan as we want them to,
Who will stand up to them,
The hausas are gone and so are the yorubas,
Who will defend against them,
They r our brothers afterall,
How do we cope and build from the scratch again?

Conclusion to what am trying to say,
Despite the pains I go thru admitting this truth,
The truth stands that the hausas are the ones holding this country
They are the ones bringing the peace amongst the yorubas and the igbos,u might not see it,but that's the truth, they might not be the best, maybe they are probably the worst, but no Igbo ruler will do any different, thy will still pack the money for their future generations same will the yorubas,
The problem of Nigeria remains the fact that we don't build for the future rather we look at the past,if u can't live with three major ethnic group, in one Nigeria,
Do u think u can stand alone as one Biafra, with only the Eastern tribe to rule,
Do u think there will be peace or we will be any different from nigeria,
Not many countries will divide and conquer, some divide and the both country become powerless, such is the case of the Czech republic and the slovakia.
The truth is if we divide this country, there are many ways we will regret it, irrespective of all these wars and difficulties we re currently facing,
We won't be respected or regarded as the giant and pride of Africa, our resources will be split and wasted amongst greedy leaders,
Our currency will depreciate and probably lose its value, there will be little peace, adaptations will be major factor, tribalism will set up,
Our stands in the world rank will also pretty much depreciate.
I still believe in United we stand and divided we fall✊
I still believe in one Nigeria.
I believe there are countries coping in conditions worst than ours and they re still striving, striving not cus they love pains and suffering, striving cus they achieve more together,
Pls let's join our hands and say no to the division of Nigeria,
If the igbos want there voices to be heard b4 there will be peace, then I think they should b given the mantle of leadership in Nigeria, while we cross our fingers and hope that the country becomes better for all of our gains♥️♥️✊

P.s:some of my facts might not be true or my stats considered rubbish, but it's my opinion and it should be respected,
And also am not a student of government so I might not be right at some points, tnx.[/s]
You can't stop an idea whose time has come!
Same fears you're having was nursed by pro Communist Soviets prior to the balkanization of USSR but today, they're all better and happy it happened.

Nigeria is currently at the same position USSR was then, and just as Gorbachev was their leader who couldn't stop it, Buhari too can't stop that of Nigeria. Those wanting out of Nigeria are now more than those that want it to continue existing, and their numbers keep growing by the day.

Nigeria failed to utilize the great opportunities that was made available to it, but it's too late now.

BTW, all those things you said about recognition of our foreign nationals is hogwash. They will simply walk into the various embassies of their new nations and exchange their worthless green passport for a brand new one cool cool

Adieu Nigeria.

The afonja turncoats will be disappointed in this news. They've littered nairaland with different monikers that claim to be from SS and how they will never be part of Biafra but in reality, the real indigenous people of SS are as passionate about Biafra as the Igbos.

This coalition started in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state and has presence in Calabar, among other places. Yet they keep decieving themselves on nairaland. I wonder how any sane person from SE and SS will ever support a system like Nigeria that has made them redundant and incapable of maximizing their potentials.

True to God, you have a good point. Whenever they project that Nigeria will be the third most populous country in the near future and assert that we don't have the resources to support such huge population, I always know they're not happy about it.

I'm afraid that with the way we are going in this country, a war may be imminent and if it mistakenly starts, the developed world will deliberately arm both sides and watch us finish ourselves. Since we do not have natural disasters to force our population down, only wars could help them. Even Boko Haram and fulani herdsmen killings are part of the wars checkmating the exploding population of the North. However, it isn't in the scale that would drastically bring our population down.

Even CIA and other intelligence agencies may be privy to all these. Any full blown war in Nigeria will be devastating because with a population of 200 million in a territory the size of Texas, they might arm us so much to decimate tens of millions cry cry

Celebrities run scam as well.

An Igbo woman reported Mike to a Yoruba actor/director/producer because he sees the Yoruba actor as decent when compared to her tribesman.
I have come across several myopic and senseless posts in this thread but this one here takes the cake.

Talking about celebrities and scam/drugs, we all saw when a popular Yoruba actor was caught with swallowed drugs in his stomach and he was detained until he shiit it out disgracefully.

Are you that dull that you can't differentiate an Igbo name from a Zambian/Southern African name? Which Igbo woman will go to Kunle Afolayan to complain when there are hundreds of more responsible and reputable Igbo actors she can go to?

It is quite obvious that Kunle Afolayan is childish, irresponsible and a tribalistic brat. In this age of social media scam, lots of celebrities are being impersonated by scamers who use their pictures to defraud gullible people. This is something that idiat who calls himself an actor should know already yet he saw it as an opportunity to ruin another person's reputation/image.

The same Kunle Afolayan also made a very reckless, unreasonable and tribalistic statement the other time. I wonder why some people from that part of Nigeria are always tribalistic and irresponsible, just look at Kunle Afolayan and Abike Dabiri among others from there.

Nigeria and many other African nations are not as diverse as some of the countries in the Americas. West Africans have people of the same race but different ethnicities in a country and they are using it as an excuse while some of the countries in the Caribbean have up to four main races and yet have managed. The problem with Africa is the mindset. Regardless of how much they break into pieces, the issue will continue. I am Canadian and nobody really asks my "state of origin". Being Canadian is enough. Everybody is from everywhere. Just pay your tax and you're welcome. Each region is autonomous. And any other language you speak asides French and English don't count. But in Africa, there's so much emotional attachment to one's region of origin to the extent that some kill for it. If Igbos leave Nigeria, the states will still fight one another. It's just sad.
Here lies your answer! Are states or regions in Nigeria autonomous? If states and regions in Nigeria are autonomous or even semi autonomous, do you think Igbos or any other ethnic group will want to break away?

The problem with all these African countries and the agitations by separatists is borne out of frustration and despair. Do you know how painful it is for Igbos in Nigeria to be seeing how they're so unfairly treated? You gang up against them politically, economically and virtually every aspect of life!

Do you know how painful it is to be watching helplessly as your government continues to waste billions of dollars in the name of fighting Boko Haram, a self inflicted problem yet federal roads and other infrastructures in your own region are in total decay??

Buhari is building a railway line to Niger republic with but they claim there is money to build same in SE, a region inside Nigeria! They refuse to standardize AIIA Enugu but instead continue to play dirty politics on it, despite how long Igbos have desperately clamored for it!

If there is justice, fair play and equal rights, do you think Igbos will want to break away, considering how much they've invested in other regions of Nigeria?

Local sources say the group are holding three police officers hostage, including a District Commander, and attacked two police stations. Prior to the blockade, the group reportedly broke into an armory and stole weapons.
Ndi landlock and padlock should come and discourage them too because it seems they have no coastline grin grin
PoliticsRe: Here Is How And Why Some Niger Delta Igbos Began To Deny Their Heritage by proeast(op): 9:13am On Sep 26, 2020

Proeast,

A REAL Anioma son much more an Asaba blood can never deny his Igboness. Note that I highlighted "Real", this is because a lot of the phoneys with identity crisis who parade themselves on the internet as "Anioma" and go as far as to deny their Igboness are either not even Anioma to start with (we've seen enough of impostors especially from a particular tribe who do this a lot, just to cause division among the Igbo nation), or even if they are Anioma; they are typically the Benin-philic ones from some parts of Ukwani, Agbor, Iselle-Uku and other Ika areas that tend to spite the Igbos. The Enuani people like us from areas like Asaba, Ogwashi-Ukwu, Igbodo etc areas have never questioned our Igboness. This are the Enuani areas that that produced the likes of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Colonel Achuzia, JJ Okocha, Dennis Osadebay etc that have always identified with their Igboness.

The turncoats like Philip Asiodu and the likes don't count, saboteurs exist in all tribes and civilizations anyways so they are as good as negligible.
God bless you my brother for making this clarification as a son of the soil. I'm so happy that the part or section of Anioma that wears its Igbo heritage as a batch of honour is actually the section that matters most in the grand scheme of things. While great and influential Igbo monarchs like the Obi of Onitsha and the Asagba of Asaba are promoting a one, indivisible and united Igbo nation, some unknown scalar quantities are out there confusing themselves.

Thank God that Asaba city itself and the most influential Anioma sons and daughters, some of whom you mentioned already knows there is no difference among Igbos both East and West of the River Niger. Any section that is stvpid enough to see their heritage as Benin in whatever guise can relocate or join them while we unite the progressive ones. Asaba has grown so fast in recent times to what it is today based on its synergy with Onitsha in particular and the Igbo nation in general.

Now tell me if Lagos is not a jungle shocked shocked
See grown ass men shittting all over the streets and water bodies, in the open and in broad daylight shocked shocked shocked Jesus Christ of Nizareth!!

Other cities in the world are becoming smart by the day but these ones in Lagos are still stuck in the stone age.

Years back, it was normal to see people bathing inside roundabouts while cars are passing or shittting at the edge of canals with traffic buildup a few yards away but I never knew that this madness is still obtainable there. So disgusting, the native afonja culture of dirtiness and open defecation is responsible for this. SMH!!
