[quote author=Nigerianization post=85693516]Why didn't the Buhari regime dissociate itself from the CJN's call for Sharia to be elevated in the constitution.
No be the same thing?? [/quote
The Nigerian Constitution legalised Sharia law and courts in the country. While for Mathew Kukah he is being a high level fool. I so much respected him long before now. He should keep his stupid vocal cavity shut. Another food for thought, if the Muslims want to islamize Nigeria, that could have been done long ago. Secondly, Muslims want to islamize Nigeria and yet the Muslims allow the Christians build mighty churches and cathedrals in their lands. The Muslims were denied the right the build just simple places of worships in Christian dominated areas, yet the Muslims are not crying of Christianization, militancy, terrorist and terrorism were created to decimate the Muslims and yet we're not complaining, but we rest everything in the hands of the Almighty Allah. The guilty will always be afraid. |

slimfit1: You are clueless baba, baba clueless. Buhari is not responsible for your poor standard of leaving. He only stopped looters from draining this country of it's resources and closed borders where smugglers bring goods illegally. Unless you are in any of those categories. He is not owing workers, rather he improved their standard of leaving by increasing the minimum wage, he has paid people who were being owed several years before he came, he is not closing legitimate businesses of the people, he is building the country's infrastructure more than has ever been done before. He is equally strengthening policies that encourage transparency and accountability. Like; the ease of doing business, TSA, BVN, wistful blowing, executive order numbers 4,5,6 and 7, fight against corruption etc. Even the border closure that has immensely encouraged local farmers is a very big plus that has created a lot of employment opportunities. So if you are worse of this time around, then it's either you have not taught out of the box or that you have been on illegitimate business which got affected by the current government policies. |

That's how bad it has become, the only tool use by the common man to make their problem known to the government had been taken away.
Then this man has the guy to talk about kind history?
Funny. Buhari remains the best president we have ever had by all standards. As human, he has his shortcomings but no one could deny he meant well for the nation; using small resources to achieve visible infrastructural developments, building institutions to checkmate looting, bringing corrupt politicians and judges to justice, jailing three former governors from his own party, repositioning Nigeria strategically in relation to our neighbouring countries. The list is endless. If you mean well for this country, you will support his effort and cheer him on |

7) Now this To your comments: 1. He doesn't believe in paying subsidy to individuals and their companies. 2. Whether the wailers will agree or not the Boko Boys have been defeated. It is normal to keep on having ambushes once in a while but sooner than later they will be no more. 3. For your information the North comprises nineteen states with a land of almost two and a half the size of the South and most populous. 4. Nigerians are responsible for the office of the first lady. When Buhari scrapped the office of the first lady, the state government could have followed suit but they refused to and Nigerians such as to you could not raised your voice then as you are doing now. 5. On the issue of border closure, it was closed to goods and not humans. |

Africans should stop hypocrisy. Homosexuality is just one of the sins. Some of us are worst than gays the way we commit sin. Even the devil is learning form some blacks, especially our leaders. agwom: A human rights and good governance advocacy-led civil society, Make A Difference (MAD), has advised the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad, to hands-off cases involving the Department of State Security Services (DSS). In a statement by the Advocacy and Communication Director of MAD, Lemmy Ughegbe, the group said the CJN needs to rise to the challenge and give the directive nationwide to help protect the sanctity of the court.
MAD condemned the action of the DSS in forcing a judge of an Abuja Federal High Court to scamper to her chambers while it effected the re-arrest of the convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant who were earlier granted bail by the court. Ughegbe said the action of the DSS in court on Friday surpassed the “draconianism of the darkest days of Nigeria’s military rule.”
“The gestapo invasion and desecration of the court by agents of the Department of State Security (DSS) is a sad and debasing testament of how deeply Nigeria and the people have retrogressed into darker ages worse even than the military era,” he said. “When law officers and security agents act with such barbaric impudence and insufferable arrogance as though they cannot be called to question for their action, one cannot but agree with those who say Nigeria is a zoo and we are hyenas, baboons and sundry animals in it.
“I challenge the Chief Justice of Nigeria to order the courts nationwide to suspend hearings of all cases brought by DSS until the deviant organisation purges itself of its sins and complies with all orders of courts issued against it.”

soloenzo: EZEKWESILI TO BUHARI, THE WORLD IS WATCHING YOUR BRUTAL VIOLATION OF SOWORE’S RIGHTS
Friday’s Sowore and DSS mega drama at the Federal High Court has the attention of the Nigerian communities and the global world with Oby Ezekwesili who is the Convener of Bring Back Our Girls campaign and a former Minister of Education has made her opinion heard on the humiliation and violation of Omoyele Sowore citizenship rights in Court today by the DSS.
Ezekwesili reminded President Muhammadu Buhari that the world at large was watching Sowore’s human right violation as a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ezekwesili reminded President Muhammadu Buhari that the world at large was watching Sowore’s human right violation as a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Oby Ezekwesili’s message to Buhari;
“President Buhari, the whole world is watching the video of officials of the State Security Service which you directly supervise, brutally violate the constitutional rights of a citizen, Omoyele Sowore inside a court and desecrated our Judiciary- an independent arm of government.”
“Let it also be known by Buhari that the cruel, unreasonable, or arbitrary use of the power he wields today as Nigeria President is alien to our Nigerian Constitution and International Law. I advise the President to cease this descent to fascism immediately and respect Court orders.”
“It is in the interest of Buhari that Sowore comes to no form of bodily, mental or emotional harm. As the supervisor of the State Security Service, I demand that the President instructs the DG to immediately comply with the court order . Release Sowore immediately.”
”I have just spoken to the incredible Femi Falana — SAN whose amazing and highly effective legal representation of citizen Sowore with a strong team of lawyers is the silver lining in this tragic case. I once again conveyed our abiding strong support and gratitude.”
“I urge my fellow citizens who are reasonable enough to know that today’s episode amounts to full aggression against the Judiciary by the Executive arm of Buhari and portends an extremely dangerous development. We must all stand to defend our hard won Democracy. We must.” She concluded.
