Nigeria on Wednesday agreed to host the Afcon qualifier involving both teams after the Confederation of African
Football compelled Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia to find alternative venues for their home game owing to the
spread of the Ebola virus pandemic.
The NFF boss expressed his delight getting the go ahead from the Federal Ministry of Health to host the match
fixed for September 6.
“We are delighted to announce that we have received the go-ahead from the Federal Ministry of Health to host the
match,” Pinnick said.
“The Sierra Leoneans will come with a delegation of 32, made up of mostly overseas –based professionals,
technical crew and officials of the SLFA, to be led by its president, Isha Johansen.
“We are happy about the go-ahead because, once more, our country has an opportunity to underscore its
leadership role on the African continent, nay global sphere.
“The NFF has initiated discussions with the Lagos State Government and the Rivers State Government on
preventive measures, such as keeping Sierra Leone’s small delegation in a special hotel where they can be
monitored at all times.”
He also said that the country has nothing to lose agreeing to host the game; instead it will be a big boost for
Nigeria football.
“We are talking of hosting the African champion team, with the likes of African Player of the Year, Yaya Toure and
others, and this will certainly earn us commendation from Caf and Fifa,” he concluded.
Sierra Leone sit at the base of Group I after losing their first game 1-0 to Sudan courtesy of Ramadan Alagab’s
strike in the 77thh minute at the Khartoum Stadium, Khartoum on June 14.

In the last 6 years.. U.S blocked every channel of weapon sale to Nigeria.. It was blocked in the U.S, Israel, And South Africa..

Until we went to Russia and Ukraine, which U.S has no power over.. Nigeria couldn't secure some weapons to combat the hi-tech weapons of BH.

Secondly, in the last 6 yrs.. Neither border nations joined the fight.. Now we have Chad, Niger, Cameron and A.U in this fight.

Over 20,000 solders, Airforce and Navy are in this fight . Hence, the massive offensive and bombardment..

I feel bad when I see comments like this.I have three questions for you:
1.Must the government wait for six years before doing the needful?
2.Must there be war before we start procuring weapons?

The writer of this should understand this,technology has so much grown that very few lab scientists are actually required in the hospitals now as most tests has been automated,remember what happened to cashiers when ATM came into place? Why would I need to employ 10 people for a job that one person can do with an automated equipment?So it is nobody's fault,it's just advancement.

resident doctors and interns in military
hospitals nationwide to return to the service.
The doctors on Monday embarked on a strike
to protest the alleged non-payment of their
salaries.
"I appeal to all resident doctors and interns
in our Military Hospitals nationwide to
remain calm and return to the service of our
nation and humanity," the minister said. According to the minister, concerted efforts
were in process to ensure all their
outstanding salaries and allowances were
paid as soon as possible.
He sympathized with the affected medical
personnel.
"I empathise with the affected medical
personnel. Our response to their demands
will be sure and swift. God bless our medical
personnel and God bless the Federal Republic
of Nigeria."
It was reported that the striking doctors
embarked on the industrial action after their
two-week strike notice was allegedly
disregarded by the authorities, who refused
to pay their salaries since their appointments
six months ago.

In terms of quality, you can't compare those schools to the average Nigerian school, the environment, the teachers, the facilities, the intellectual level, the pattern of learning.... are miles ahead of Nigerian standards.

Those schools are for the creme de la creme, no wannabe thugs, no poor people & most likely no bullies. Every kid is such school comes from an upper class, there kids develop network of important friends which comes handy in life. That's why you'd notice people of an upper class belong to a certain clique, these are where those cliques are formed.

People who send their kids there are not fools, if you got the money, send your kids there.
