Some people are so ignorant of the hippocratic oath,as if the oath says medical doctors should not be paid. They say doctors put money before patients,so doctors should not be collecting salary abi? For your information, doctors spend more time with patients than the time they spend with their own family, yet some fools says doctors are not commited. The only way a doctor makes up for the time away from their family is what they bring home at the end of the month for all the time they spent attending to others, yet some fool says doctors put money ahead of patients.Fashola packed mad people on the streets,he forgot some are online. |
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the immediate closure of the KickOffNigeria.com web and mobile sites, as well as all it’s social media pages. KON relaunched almost two years ago after many years in the wilderness, and while the traffic uptake was pleasing, the lack of sustainable advertising and sponsorship revenue has meant that it no longer makes business sense to keep the platforms operational. We would like to thank all our readers for the loyalty and support they have shown KickOffNigeria; it has been a pleasure reporting to such dedicated and knowledgeable fans. www.kickoffnigeria.com/mobile/news/47774/kickoffnigeria-closes-down Sport fans in Nigeria will definitely miss kickoff. |

Ivory Coast have appointed former Zambia national team coach Herve Renard as their new head coach. The Frenchman has signed a two-year deal to replace Sabri Lamouchi, who stepped down following the Elephants' disappointing 2014 World Cup campaign in Brazil. The 45-year-old was selected from a three- man shortlist that also included Portuguese former Sporting and Benfica coach Jose Manuel De Jesus and ex-Rennes coach Frederic Antonetti. Renard is tasked with delivering silverware to a nation that has become frustrated by the failure of their top European stars to produce a cohesive and successful national team for several years now. http://www.kickoffnigeria.com/mobile/news/47302/herve-renard-lands-ivory-coast-job I think all other African teams should buckle up.This guy knows African football. |

Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo has announced his retirement from the national side after the Super Eagles fell 2-0 to France in the second round of the World Cup. The 33-year-old became the first Nigerian to play 100 international matches but capped it with an own goal in added time against Les Bleus. He follows in the footsteps of Nwankwo Kanu who announced his retirement after the 2010 World Cup. “It was a bitter-sweet moment for me but I think it is time to focus on my family,” Yobo told reporters. “It has been a long road.” Yobo made his debut with the Super Eagles in 2001 but became a mainstay of the team during the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan. He played at three World Cups and won the Africa Cup of Nations as captain last year. “We’ve won the Africa Nations Cup and we came here and were not disgraced,” said the Fenerbahce man. “I never thought that I’d be here because I missed the last six games of the season through injury. They gave me an opportunity but it is unfortunate what happened. “I gave my all,” he said. However, Yobo thinks that he’s leaving the national team in capable hands with the duo of defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Godfrey Oboabona able to continue in his place. “They would grow,” he said. “Omeruo has done very well. Oboabona was injured but he got his chance at the Nations Cup. They’re going to get better, the experience is going to come and one of them has to take the responsibility and be a leader.” The defender said he would like to concentrate on club football afterwards. m.goal.com/x/en-ng/news/4926685 |

A question just came to my mind recently,WHY DO PREACHERS RARELY TAKE PREACHING TOPICS FROM SONGS OF SOLOMON? I rarely hear preachers take quotations from that part of the bible. I think its probably because it's the most "uncensored" part of the bible or what do you think? |
