I was already planning to book another test because I know I didn't do well at all especially in listening module . But the God of St Joseph of Cupertino and St Theresa of the Child Jesus stepped in.

Father, I am so grateful!!!
Congratulations. On to the next stage
Hello All,

I need information, the NOC the PA claim she has a year and a half in it, but another NOC which is in the same field , she has 3 years and over, she got an ITA based on thinking because she has 9 yrs experience. What should she do? Decline the offer and re-enter the pool after correcting the error or what?
do we need to expalin to IRCC, whY?
MummychichiYou can change NOC post ITA with LOE (ask newmum cos she changed hers) as long as it's still O, A or B. Will changing NOC reduce her score below the cut off? If it will, decline. [Mummychichi]

My opinion, though. Others can weigh in.

Mummychichi, thanks a lot for your response. If we change the NOC it does not decrease the score, we used to get the ITA. the PA has been working in same company for 9 yrs, just different NOC in the same field. By Dec 31, Age will increase by a year and 5 marks will drop, below 440.

The truth is that you travelled to UK and should so reflect in your TH.
It's not a crime not to complete a training program. You may even have a certificate and decide not evaluate it but stated in your personal history.
Thanks

Also My international passport expires in july 2019 should I change it now or wait and how do I do that now , what difference will it make on processing and visa collection.

Congrats on all those who got ITAs, Mine is next in line in Jesus name.

Please to all, since being proactive is the "in" thing. I have checked, do I need to book appointment with Children Practice?

Also please for documents for ITA, I need advice, for POF, do I have to get a Gift Deed for my wife, as the PoF I got was a Gift Deed but my wife is the PA. Or is a simple letter to my wife sufficient?

Please advice is needed. God bless

You don't have to hasten the process once you get ITA. Her age gets locked in once she gets ITA and '5points drop' doesn't affect her again.

Medicals can be done upfront but biometrics is done on request from IRCC after submission.
Thank you very much. I have been battling with how do sort this issue. Now the prayer is for the cut-off to drop to 441 but not more than 443

For Medicals, either will do.
Con of before ITA is that if you get COPR, your visa expires 1yr after the date of the medicals. So you calibrate your booking based on how likely you will get ITA.
Con of after is that space for medicals are highly competitive and you may not get the day you want.
It costs you nothing to book. If your IELTS is set, you can book.

For biometrics, you have to wait for the letter.
Thanks a lot. For the advice, How many times can one book?

It costs nothing to book?

Hello All,

When is it the best time to book for medicals and biometrics, is it when one enters the pools or when one gets the ITA. My wife is the PA, 443 is her number(we expect her WES in by next week ending 19th Oct ) but timing is of the essence but by third week in December 2018, her points drops off. So how can we "haste" the process once we get the ITA?

Hello House,

Please we need advice. My wife is the PA , we both have our ielts done. Her School has sent her diploma, degree and their transcripts to WES and they have confirmed receipt of the documents, they then sent a mail(verificaton mail) to her school since mid july, but then the school's email was down for a month, the school has problems with receiving hard copy. But the schools email came back up Mid August and since we didnt want to wait 7 weeks before WES resends another mail ( School has checked the emails but have not received any mail from WES), we called WES and they sent a personal mail to my wife , saying we should not get involved because it is between WES and the School(OSU). The 7 weeks has passed and we are now in the 8th week , still no mail from WES. Please what can we do? Any advice?

Hello Engineers in the house. Pls, I have converted my ECA to WES ICAP, I am about submitting my application to APEGA. I am torn between applying for EIT or P.Eng. I have a B.Eng and more than the required 4years work experience, which according to APEGA's website, makes me eligible to apply for P.Eng.

However I am not certain if they wouldn't strike a number of years off the experience, seeing that I don't have any Canadian experience or Canadian Degree. Also, from Job Postings, I noticed in the abscence of a P.Eng License, I am left with no choice than to apply for Junior/Entry level Jobs and these usually require one to be registered as an EIT.

Please what do y'all think? Do I take the gamble with the P.Eng or start off with EIT?

Hello einsteino,

I am also in a similar situation. I have more than the 4 years experience but I dont have the required Canadian Experience. I started the application, and it automatically picked Foreign Licensee.. Please is this any better or should i just apply for EIT and after the 1 year experience reapply for P.Eng...

Please I am confused

Hello All,

I have been reading the previous posts, but I need clarification. I have completed my ECA, my wife is the PA, while i am waiting, as an Engineer, I want to start working on license. I upgraded my application to ECA report to course by course but i read here that is not the ICAP that is prefarable. If that is the case. What do i do, how can I apply for the proper ICAP/Please advice. the cost of this is about $100? is that the cost? Apologies if this sounds silly
