This your trap won't entrap any sensible bachelor. Enjoy your marital pains alone!

That's your own kettle of fish. I answered the question of MY EXPERIENCE not yours. If you have a problem, deal with it.
Family / Re: Do Married Men Envy Bachelors? by ProtonX: 12:01am On May 08
Short answer is NO. I never have. I have been married for almost a decade and a half and what we have achieved in life as a family is what I never would have dreamed of as a bachelor. I married a woman who looks out for me the way I look out for her. We've built a solid fortress spiritually, physically, financially, etc. I won't have had it this good alone. My life was scattered especially because I was forced to be independent at a young age and I left home at around 17. Sometimes I imagine if I didn't wife her when I did, another man would have cupped this gift that God willingly gave me. TWO GOOD HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE. We're not without disagreements sometimes but we've so far maintained a peaceful home. Yes, life gets chaotic but knowing you have a genuine person, no chaos is big enough. Learning and unlearning is constant in our marriage and knowing what God requires of us per time. We have been intentional about our relationship especially when our kids came in the picture. From just date nights enjoying some of our favorite TV shows indoors to trips where we focus on each other and plan the next month, next quarter, etc. We keep a united front before our relatives including our parents, friends, our children, etc. I sometimes re-read my kids' school composition about us as their parents, and I genuinely ball my eyes. God gave me the best gift and I almost lost her wasting time that year. But to God be the glory. No regrets.

Honestly as a married man, the kind of stories I read here and on some Twitter threads on what some married guys are going through in the hands of their wives and even what some married ladies share about how their husbands treat them always make me wonder how and where these people met their spouses and what even made them to consider marrying the men and women they married in the first place lol

A bad woman is a bad woman whether she lives at Buckingham Palace or Whitehouse or In Oyo Town or Nnewi or wherever; abroad does not change any woman like most Nigerians presume cos I have majority of my childhood friends, course mates and even family members living in different countries of the world; from US to UK, to European countries to Qatar, Dubai, Angola, South Korea, South Africa, China, Japan, Canada, Australia, etc and none are divorced or complaining bitterly the way I read from married people here.

It always make me to wonder oh honestly lolz

You're wise! I read these stories too and I wonder. 14 years and counting with zero issues and na abroad we dey. And like you said, no one around us is having these issues. I'm wondering if it's a generational behaviour with age 40 and under but I might be wrong.
Family / Re: My Ordeal In The UK With My Wife by ProtonX: 5:39am On Feb 28
OP, what do you do for work? All I see here is a woman being the bread winner. What that your agreement? Life, including marriage is a gamble. It takes the grace of God to have a partner who has the fear of God and will stand by you no matter what. Do your investigations, may God help you.

Family / Re: My 13 Years Old Has Become Terrible! I Want To Send Her Back To Nigeria by ProtonX: 11:48am On Feb 24
Mrperfecto:
I will just be brief without writing too much.

We are based we have 4 children, my first child is 13 from my previous relationship, she has become very terrible, she doesn't listen to me or my wife. She tells her that she is not her biological mother and she cannot control her. She had threatened to call the police on my wife telling her if she touch her she will fight her back and call the police. She goes to school and closes at 3.45 her school is 10 mins walk from home, but she is always late for home.

She comes home around 6 sometimes 7pm , as I am writing now every friday she closes at 12.30 but she is still hasn't come back home yet.

I am on my way to work. I start at 6.30pm till 2.30am so I rarely get to see her and she only misbehaving when I am not around. So far we have seized her phone because we had found so many inappropriate messages exchanges between her and boys. We had also removed the TV from her room and her behaviour has gotten worse. She is behaving like she's possessed.

My wife and I are fed up. Even her siblings are tired of her. We want to send her back to Nigeria maybe in a boarding school until she is 18 in order to protect her younger ones. If we keep her and she continues with her terrible behaviour I may beat her badly and we may end up loosing all 4 children to the authorities.

Please what advice will you give to me concerning this issue?

I was going to be quick like others to say "send her back!" but as a father of 2 teenagers, I have highlighted the bolded. OP, I hope you see this but I have a few questions for you: Is she being treated equally and fairly like her half siblings, you and your wife (step mom)? Is there a reason why she doesn't want to be in the house more than is necessary? Why does she not misbehave when you are around? Is it always every other person's word against hers? I'm not saying she doesn't need to be disciplined o, don't get me wrong. She's at an age where her body is changing, more attention from her mates who are the opposite sex, confused, etc.
The bolded parts are clear signs she's rebelling against something or it could be nothing. It's up to you as her father to find out.
If something happens to her whether you hit her or not, it still comes back to you as parents.

An Epistle of a simp😁😁

Nigeria is the only part of the globe where they celebrate people for behaving like a normal human being or performing their duties⚠️

You will never see a white man, indian, Chinese or even an Arabian man with this kind of long epistle of jargon over a woman♂️

I have never come across a clip or text where foreign men are worshipping and praising their women, whenever i come online all i see is foolish African men disgracing themselves😔😔

Your wife is simply doing what you married her for and is no big issue you bloody simp💯

If you feel you need to show her love for being a good wife, please do that secretly and stop blocking our online space😡

You and your 142 likes have zero sense. But what does one expect of boys parading themselves as men these days? Perhaps, we men too should stop expecting appreciation from our wives. Please marry your own and don't appreciate her. It's easy to spot those that grew up with no love. Anupam

You children must bear your name alone..but if she is a professional she can bear her name and add your as the final like shukurat ADEYEMO BABANGIDA..SHE IS RETAINING HER FATHERS NAME ADEYEMO AND ADDING HER HUSBAND NAME BABANGIDA...IT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO CHANGE NAMES FOR AN EDUCATED WOMAN WHO IS WELL KNOWN AND HAS ACCOMPLISHED ALOT IN HER FATHERS NAME.

Romance / Re: Should I Be Worried. by ProtonX: 11:08am On Feb 10
I don't see the problem? My wife now uses her father's name and mine together (hyphenated). It used to be just hers for the first decade in our marriage because it's incredibly challenging to do a name change when all your important documents carry a different name. She can bear whatever last name she so wishes. The kids bear yours. When we used to apply for visas, a marriage certificate was enough.

Except you're a medical practitioner involved in the delivery, I see no reason why one should want to be there. Forget all that talk of bonding. You do not have to see all that gory sight to really appreciate a woman.

That's your personal choice.

Crime / Re: Death Row In-mates Pay Money, Sodomize Others At Kirikiri - FIJ by ProtonX: 6:22pm On Jan 29
Nigeria is a sick country, and only in another decade will we understand the level of the rot in our system. 51,000 cases in just one prison without a court hearing or due process When other countries treat even those on death row with dignity and respect and with boarding facilities fit for a human being. Others are shutting down their prisons due to so few prisoners.
And then you expect that when prisoners after being treated like animals are released back into society, they'll be normal. Never seen a country like this.
