Educative post. Also interesting to see how many prisons are situated in the north. Is there a reason for this?

Crime / Re: Death Row In-mates Pay Money, Sodomize Others At Kirikiri - FIJ by ProtonX: 6:22pm On Jan 29
Nigeria is a sick country, and only in another decade will we understand the level of the rot in our system. 51,000 cases in just one prison without a court hearing or due process When other countries treat even those on death row with dignity and respect and with boarding facilities fit for a human being. Others are shutting down their prisons due to so few prisoners.
And then you expect that when prisoners after being treated like animals are released back into society, they'll be normal. Never seen a country like this.

He was definitely murdered. Lacerations around the neck shows either a rope or something. He was probably hanged or tortured with chains or ropes. Mouth position shows he might have been struggling to breathe from being choked not drowning and generally, the body and bloodied neck area looks suspicious.

Once you place your value in money as a lady,
There are men who are willing to pay to mess you up.
Be guided!

You must learn to accept your man's financial capacity,
else you will end up sleeping with every man that has money 👌👌

Having a female as a best friend is like having a chicken as a pet,
You will definitely eat it one day.🤣

Cheating is old fashion, the new style is to settle down with one partner, get close to God and make money together.

Hello I wanted to ask, did you do procedure in this country and if yes what facility did you use ? And did you opt for preimplantation genetic diagnosis or amniocentesis?

Procedure was in the UK. Yes, we did the preimplantation genetic testing since it was the easiest and the least emotionally challenging.

OP, Sorry to hear about your predicament.
There were several genotype testing errors years ago in Nigeria. I for one was tested AA for my admission into uni. AA for NYSC.
This was in the late 90s and early 2000s. I ended up being AS when my GP tested my genotype. I didn't believe but I had two separate tests done in Lekki and Jabi the following year and I was still AS. At the time I had already married my wife who I knew was AS from the start so you can imagine the situation we were in.

It is not a death sentence if you have the means. We employed the services of a Geneticist and we were given about 4 options. We eventually chose pre genetic testing (IVF) and we have a set of twins and a 3rd child. And they are all AA.

If you don't have the means, unfortunately, you don't want to gamble with the lives of your future children and family. It is a painful journey bringing an SS or SC child into the world. I have met a couple of people who were lucky because of inaccurate genotype results. They have no SS kids. But the decisions are yours to make.

Too many emotional people on here. Christians insulting themselves to defend their leaders. Don't work out your own salvation o. In saner climes, there will be a full blown investigation that will turn that place inside out. There are churches like MFM, JW and co that are banned in some countries not even in China, N. Korea and Russia alone while some are under investigation for fraud, abuse, etc. But Nigeria is a zoo. Wolves in sheep clothing, idol worshippers with doctrines of demons disguising as the body of Christ.

Romance / Re: Would You Marry Someone Who Has Broken Ties With Their Parents? by ProtonX: 12:30pm On Jan 18
Yes, if the reasons are valid.
Lately I watched a documentary on the Turpin Family (Google them). Parents who chained their 13 kids like dogs. 10 girls and 3 boys. When they were rescued, the oldest child was already 22. They all needed hospitalization for months due to heart, neurological, psychological issues, etc.
The parents were charged with 88 felonies and sentenced to life imprisonment. I wouldn't blame any of the children if they never associated with their parents again in life.

So if the parents are toxic, I wouldn't even want them near my children. That's how generational abuse and trauma is created.

Noticed how pained and angry most of the women here are at the mentioned of DNA test? There's more to the eyes bro. She's just waiting for the girl's real father to come and it's certainly not you

From a woman who doesn't want him at all? She'd be relieved if he's not the father. Is all well with you upstairs? You blockheads on this forum need to form a group of your own.

Sperm donor is a term created by frustrated feminists. A father is a father whether good or bad. There are people who abandoned their children for 20+ years. He's even lucky he's received sense at this early stage. The child deserves to have her father. It should not be immediate but talk of losing rights is totally off the mark!

You're clearly a block head. A chimp is far more intelligent than you.

You sound like you’re making sense, but what you just wrote here is an entire thrash that makes no meaningful or reasonable sense in any way.

Una go just Sidon, add two plus two, open mouth waaaa dey talk rubbish.

That’s stakeholders raising alarm and appealing to the government to tone down on their anti student immigrant policy because it’s spoiling business for them, you’re assuming nonsense.

Do you know how much is £75,000,000,000 that these universities pay as taxes to the government through students in Naira? That’s exclusive of their profits! Do the maths if you can.

The decline started gradually from September, but they didn’t take it seriously. What they got in January was lower than what they projected based on the new policy. Imagine expecting population in a class to drop from 600 students to 300 students only to see that it dropped to 30 students and this is just January o.

This criminal country has swindled especially Nigerian students, because most Asians and even some Africans like Ghanaians come here funded by their governments.

A Nigerian will sell and risk everything to come here even with family, you will take visa fees, health insurance for all the family members without complaining, after collecting everything, you restrict them to work only few hours, no access to so many support and benefits, choke them with racism and start asking them to go back home that they are the problem.

They can’t go, they’re stuck and at the government’s mercy because they cannot even regain the capital that brought them in, if they return, it has to be empty handed and they’ll have to return to nothing and probably start life all over.

It’s not something you just want to jump on and comment without any form of knowledge or emotional intelligence bruv.

You're absolutely spot on bro. It's really really unfair.
Also, I said on some thread last year and some Nigerians were saying a whole UK won't suffer the consequences of their anti migration policies. And the British population assume that students and migrants have recourse to public funds when they don't. Lots of disinformation and false narratives being peddled. You're milking your migrants and sending them away or asking them not to come but just give us your money. The UK will sink itself eventually. Exited the EU, and now even your own population are leaving for better pastures in droves.

Family / Re: My Wife Decide Not To Apologize For Offending Me by ProtonX: 8:56pm On Dec 15, 2023
Plus4you:
Few days ago my wife was angried and utterred some statements that I do not like.
The statement was that she relating an issue by using my mum
The statement was "had it been it was your mum that did that you would have find means to repay her'.
I find it offensive for uttering such a statement, I was offended immediately but I kept my calm because we are already prepared to go out.

So when we came back I informed her that I am annoyed with what she said.

Her reply was that she did nothing wrong with such a statement because she didn't insult or belittle my mum.

I told I'm not but she decided not to apologize for that.

After two days our communication has not been normal and it only greetings.

So the next day I called and discussed it with her but still stands that she isn't wrong.

We have not been in good terms since then,

Please isn't she supposed to apologise despite that I told her I don't like the statement?

And you brought it here? I reserve my comments

Which one is open marriage , have you heard of that in Africa talk less of Nigeria? Who will marry and both couples would still be bleeping outside but still together because you have a kid together..that's living in bondage because one person must eventually get reorientation that will bring issues in the initial agreement

Mr. Man, I can bring whatever I want on this forum like everybody else. This is Nairaland with posts and news from all over the world. If you have nothing to say, skip it.
