Educative post. Also interesting to see how many prisons are situated in the north. Is there a reason for this? 3 Likes |
Crime / Re: Death Row In-mates Pay Money, Sodomize Others At Kirikiri - FIJ by ProtonX: 6:22pm On Jan 29 |
Nigeria is a sick country, and only in another decade will we understand the level of the rot in our system. 51,000 cases in just one prison without a court hearing or due process When other countries treat even those on death row with dignity and respect and with boarding facilities fit for a human being. Others are shutting down their prisons due to so few prisoners. And then you expect that when prisoners after being treated like animals are released back into society, they'll be normal. Never seen a country like this. 21 Likes 3 Shares |

He was definitely murdered. Lacerations around the neck shows either a rope or something. He was probably hanged or tortured with chains or ropes. Mouth position shows he might have been struggling to breathe from being choked not drowning and generally, the body and bloodied neck area looks suspicious. |

OP, Sorry to hear about your predicament. There were several genotype testing errors years ago in Nigeria. I for one was tested AA for my admission into uni. AA for NYSC. This was in the late 90s and early 2000s. I ended up being AS when my GP tested my genotype. I didn't believe but I had two separate tests done in Lekki and Jabi the following year and I was still AS. At the time I had already married my wife who I knew was AS from the start so you can imagine the situation we were in. It is not a death sentence if you have the means. We employed the services of a Geneticist and we were given about 4 options. We eventually chose pre genetic testing (IVF) and we have a set of twins and a 3rd child. And they are all AA. If you don't have the means, unfortunately, you don't want to gamble with the lives of your future children and family. It is a painful journey bringing an SS or SC child into the world. I have met a couple of people who were lucky because of inaccurate genotype results. They have no SS kids. But the decisions are yours to make. 52 Likes 9 Shares |

Religion / Re: TB Joshua Showed That Ajoke Was Adopted, Not His Biological Daughter (Video) by ProtonX: 4:11pm On Jan 18 |
Too many emotional people on here. Christians insulting themselves to defend their leaders. Don't work out your own salvation o. In saner climes, there will be a full blown investigation that will turn that place inside out. There are churches like MFM, JW and co that are banned in some countries not even in China, N. Korea and Russia alone while some are under investigation for fraud, abuse, etc. But Nigeria is a zoo. Wolves in sheep clothing, idol worshippers with doctrines of demons disguising as the body of Christ. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Romance / Re: Would You Marry Someone Who Has Broken Ties With Their Parents? by ProtonX: 12:30pm On Jan 18 |
Yes, if the reasons are valid. Lately I watched a documentary on the Turpin Family (Google them). Parents who chained their 13 kids like dogs. 10 girls and 3 boys. When they were rescued, the oldest child was already 22. They all needed hospitalization for months due to heart, neurological, psychological issues, etc. The parents were charged with 88 felonies and sentenced to life imprisonment. I wouldn't blame any of the children if they never associated with their parents again in life. So if the parents are toxic, I wouldn't even want them near my children. That's how generational abuse and trauma is created. 3 Likes 1 Share |

DadaStephen1: You're absolutely spot on bro. It's really really unfair. Also, I said on some thread last year and some Nigerians were saying a whole UK won't suffer the consequences of their anti migration policies. And the British population assume that students and migrants have recourse to public funds when they don't. Lots of disinformation and false narratives being peddled. You're milking your migrants and sending them away or asking them not to come but just give us your money. The UK will sink itself eventually. Exited the EU, and now even your own population are leaving for better pastures in droves. 1 Like |
