SarkinYarki: Can she shut up and enjoy the next level she voted for !!!!! I declare in the Name of Jesus that Buharis wickedness and incompetence will not affect those of us that didn't vote for him but for those that voted and supported him they will be thoroughly thoroughly affected !!!!
You should make practical jokes with your age mates, don't drag God into this. If you have a problem with those that voted Buhari pick a gun and start shooting over 15 million people that voted Buhari.
Got bored, said I should watch into the Badlands season 3 I was too reluctant to watch, and I must say am really impressed with my stupid way of wasting money.
I need to find Kill Bill and download all 3 volumes, I use to think the movie is was too damn fake, But Into The Badlands has taken fake to a whole new level.
Can we have a round of applause for Into The Badlands for this ground breaking achievement - its not easy Abeg.
JeromeBlack: Superman is the most boring superhero known to man. It is a guarantee that any superman film will flop.
Batman is the best superhero detective. He also beat superman in the comics, the cartoon and on the movie
Respect the bat
But you know all things being equal Batman won't last 5 mins with Sups, take away the enhanced suit and the kryptonite, batman is toast.
And I don't agree that any superman movie will be boring, bring in a Darkseid, a calm and cold superman, some alien planet that will change the narrative. Trust me you won't want it to end.
Superman is getting boring because the producers are making him weaker.
KoiceReloaded: First off, this ain't a competition, I'm just trying to make a point, kapish?
Secondly, you completely misunderstood me and the situation. Your question is completely invalid, and here's why:
- Captain America: Civil War is the third part of Chris Evans "solo movies", bro. He may have shared the spotlight with RDJ in Civil war, but the first name on the title card is still his, you feel me? You asked how his Civil War performance compared to his solo movies. Civil war is his "solo" movie. One of a trilogy, in fact. - You can't compare an actor's supporting role performance to their main role performance. In a main role, he is the center of the plot, while in the supporting role, he's part of the plot. Two contrasting things, bro. So, you can see how it will be unfair comparing RDJ's supporting role performance on Captain America: Civil War, to his Iron Man titular role performance. Apples and oranges. - In BvS, Henry Cavil and Ben Affleck were both titular characters, and thus, technically, BvS is a solo movie for both.
You have a naive and simplistic take on things sometimes, mekaprime.
No I don't agree, even if it's "your solo" movie other acts can still outshine the lead character. RDJ is the highest paid in the Avengers Team of actors for a reason.
It's like you saying because it's your album you can outshine Eminem when he gets on any of your tracks.
troubleseller: What do you mean by 'standard Joker'? There is nothing like a standard Joker. There are different Jokers and the director of a film can decide to use any of the iterations of the character. PS: It will also be extremely boring if every Joker that appeared in a movie are alike.
You are right, maybe we should start having a superman that will only be a Chris Tucker so that superman won't be extremely boring.
There is a standard for an Iconic character or else they won't be among the best franchise ever in comic book history.
mekaprime: THE PACIFIER....6/10 GENRE: Action, Comedy, Drama
The movie is for kids, yes I get it, but the choice of cast was a no for me. Vin Diesel making a transition from a typical badass macho character to a comedian doesn't really work for me.
There are quite a number of actors that ought to stick to their known genre as making a transition to other genres wouldn't favour them nor would they be able to convey the emotions of the character they play, thus, its always seems as if they were forced to play such roles. Vin Diesels should better stick to the pure action genre, which he's good at( imagine him, dancing to the sound of music).
Maybe you will like The Last Action Hero by Arnold Schwarzenegger
KoiceReloaded: I can't believe that some people are actually equating the forgettable Affleck's Batman to legendary Bale's Dark Knight, and worse, picking Affleck's over Bale's. Now, I have seen it all.
Please, watch this YouTube video. It is done by WatchMojo.com, YouTube's number one movie review channel.
If you're still in doubt, kindly peep into this LINK to see where both ranked in history.
Like someone said in the YouTube comment section, Affleck may be Batman, but Christian Bale is THE DARK KNIGHT. Both are incomparable. Bale's Batman is by far the best Batman I've seen onscreen. It's not even a contest.
The fact that there is argument between Bale and Ben as batman is rather pointless, I don't think they should be compared.
Why? Because DC are just a bunch of Confused kids when it comes to the screen, there is no comparison here because Ben is playing a supposed 50 yr old Bruce Wayne, While Bale is playing the young and vibrant Batman.
What this those is give both of them a chance to be average if they like. Ben playing batman after playing Dare Devil many years ago just says a lot that something weird is going on in Hollywood.
SaviTar: What about practical jokes like when he made a pencil disappear by killing someone with it Or the part where he was pressing a detonator repeatedly so that the hospital could blow up completely
Whoever is saying Heath Ledger didn't do any funny stuff obviously doesn't remember Dark Knight very well.
Pryme when was the last time you saw Dark Knight
Those are the jokes you saw, that doesn't mean you know "how" The Joker cracks his jokes.
Just like you saw Thanos beat Thor, that's does not mean Thanos has never ran from a fight with Thor.
Heat's Joker is just overrated, it's not the standard Joker.
JeromeBlack: C'mon, the joker in the dark knight cracked some jokes
-"what doesnt kill you makes you stranger" -"never start with the head......" (in response to batman trying to beat him to a confession)
I just pulled this from memory as I havent watched the movie in like 3 years
Bro, pls those jokes are not even a quarter of Joker's repertoire when it comes to jokes. I guess am too rigid because I the comic standards are suppose to be the real standards, everything was suppose to be rooted on the comic characters, the real Joker. How many times did Heat let out a long evil laugh? Did he ever dance when the plan was going his way? Did he make fun of batman? Did he pretend to be agony only to let out a long evil laugh.
The truth is the Joker is a very complex character, anyway this is what DC wanted to shove down our face, just like they are trying force us to accept the "fact" that Batman can kill when he gets mad.
kongolo: Heath Ledger has been placed on a pedestal by pasty white fanboys.Apart from "10 Things I hate about You," how many other watchable movies did he appear in before his death?
That movie with Sean Connery, that he was pretending to be a Knight (can't remember the name), but it was a good movie though - you should check it out.
KoiceReloaded: By dying, he not only immortalized the character, but he also set the bar pretty high. His portrayal will always be the benchmark for others to match or surpass.
Oh pls, Are you saying Heath actually portrayed what the joker is really about? Making Bombs out of toys, smiling while committing brutal acts. Heat tried but he did set a high standard for playing a psychopath.
JeromeBlack: Thank you. I thought that I was the only one seeing that Heath ledger's joker is overrated.
The guy was good no doubt but the way people act as if his acting was so good that no other joker can even cone close to his performance.....
As far as am concerned, the best Batman villain in movies for the past 1 and half decade has to be The Riddler (Played by Jim Carey), He outshined Val Kilmer as the Batman in his own movie. Jim was a like a live wire in this one.
Heat Ledger's Joker has to be the most overrated act in Hollywood, even before his death his Joker received a lot of criticism, I don't know what for. But for me? What good is joker if he can't crack jokes, Heath was just too uptight for a joker and too cold.
Mariangeles: Nigerian atheists are most times lawless and without principles .
They have no respect because it means nothing to them. They behave however they please with no conscience. Nothing guides there emotions. They'll hurt and disrespect you without remorse. Mostly cold hearted. They're even more dangerous.
And Christians and Muslims are not also guilty of this?
This movie directly fvcked with my mind the first year I watched it, I mean what if the men wearing hats really existed? Sorry am no r3tard, but when I walk on the road and then kick my leg on a stone I never saw - guess what's flashes through my mind? yeah one of the men wearing a hat making some "adjustments" to determine my fate. I was getting worried if am crazy.
Whats very worrying is this could be fiction inspired by real life events. The scary part is "they" can make just one tiny move that is not really a big deal e.g make you spill coffee on your shirt so that you will go change it, and that will cause you to be late, so that you won't be around when a particular person THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO MEET will be passing by that time (and these guys call it adjustment). These people decide who they want you to be. Do you guys think there is higher force somewhere that is setting you up so that you never get to meet a fairy that really is in existence?
This Movie turn me to someone that doesn't overlook the little things.
The only reason this movie did not get a 10/10 for me was that it did not end logically, cos logically no human could have outsmart the men wearing hats.
Lesson learnt - a driven man can overcome even the supernatural forces that are an obstacle.
By the way what really happened to Matt Damon? Haven't seen any hit from him after the Bourne series.
KoiceReloaded: It's okay that you like the movie but let's not get carried away. Compared to well written masterpieces like Looper and Donnie Darko, it's a ridiculous attempt at the metaphysical nature of human life choices. The film oozed plot holes like a ripe puss. Also, Aston Kutcher has one of the most punchable faces I've have seen.
Am not saying Butterfly Effect was a masterpiece, my rant was towards the so called critics, if you watch that movie Under The Skin that got favorable approval from the so called critics, then they are a bunch of r3tards.
The only time me and the critics were on the same page was when they blasted Batman vs Superman, I nearly vomit while watching that movie.
oyaskii: the one with Ashton kutcher? The movie was so dope..safely locked away in my all time favs folder...sadly critics thought differently
Yeah Aston Kutcher, sometimes critics could be a bunch of r3tards with access to a larger coverage.
You can imagine a movie like Under The Skin got a high rating of 84% percent. I rushed and watched the movie, after that I said fvck the critics and their corny ratings. If you watch this movie you will easily get into a fight that day because you will be very pissed after wasting your time watching such can of shiit.
KoiceReloaded: Hate to rain on your parade, but Black Hawk Down is not exactly the gold standard for war films, in fact, it's one of Hollywood well kept secret. Nobody talks about it now, knowing what they know now.
The movie producers knowingly and deliberately changed the name of the soldier that was portrayed by Evan McGregor to hide a terrible secret from the unsuspecting public. What's the terrible secret? The original character portrayed by Evan McGregor - the so-called war hero - is currently serving a 30 year prison term for sexual molestation and rape. The rape victim? His six (6) year old daughter.
So, basically, a movie studio and a novelist made a tidy profit, by despicably benefiting from a child rape. Let that sink in for a moment.
That's too bad, it's sickening. He deserves all he gets and more. However am just looking at the movie from the technical point of view. Most war movies are like fairy tales compared to the real situation.
mekaprime: You simply rated it the same way i would. Black hawk down remains my best modern war movie, it presents the gruesome reality of war. It was actually a journalist account of the 1993 raid in Mogadishu by the U.S. military, aimed at capturing faction leader Mohamed Farrah Aidid.
Every thing about the movie was top notch. The explosion scenes seemed so real to me that I was literally startled, i remember a scene were an RPG tore a US soldier into 2 & as the lad was fighting for dear life, his teary eyes made me literally feel his transition from shock to pain & finally to the cold hands of death.
And you know, if not for that chopper that came to their rescue that night, many more would have died because they were outflanked & outmaneuvered by heavily-armed Somalian Talibans. Many of the scenes in that movie, made me question myself as to if this was really the almighty US army the western media do portray to us, coz the way these untrained Talibans were matching them firepower for firepower at a ratio of 1-3 kills was shocking & unbelievable, well the western media is to be blame for that.
The reason the first chopper (Black Hawk) was shut down was because it was inbound for the medical evacuation of that marine that fell from the chopper in the beginning of the mission, the pilot was trying to evade a rocket that's how the marine missed his grip on the rope and fell from the chopper.
Now the mission got more complicated from getting the hostages out, to moving to and securing the crash site of the Black Hawk. This small detour cost them 15 US marines.
True war circumstances, where a good plan can be thrown into chaos cos of one small event.
I have watched this movie like twice in the past. But after watching an interview with an ex Navy seal about what a lot of war movies get wrong I had to watch this one again (he said this was the only movie that was at least a bit close - just a tiny bit).
What I realized this time around watching it was that one false move was what brought the Black Hawk Down. A marine missed his grip on the rope and that was enough to let hell lose.
The movie is also a reminder that those that die with their eyes open most times are not ready to go yet.
Looking at this movie again, you wonder where war movies have lost it.
Not many movies can surprise me with their plot. But this one did. For the first time in Hollywood, American submarine that was suppose to outsmart the Russians were rather saved by the Russians, not very many movies portray the Russians in good light and the loyalty of the military to their President during a coup. The climax was epic.
