A video of a proposal gone wrong has gone viral on social media, eliciting a response from many Nigerians. From the footage shown online, a man proposes to a lady in a mall, and rather than go all crazy for him, she rejected the proposal and walked away.

The man who shared the post on Facebook has been identified as Samuel Nebort. According to him, the event happened in Onitsha Mall.

The man proposed to his lady in Onitsha Mall, but the lady looked at him, tried to say something and walked away from him without giving his proposal much of a thought.

She did this in spite of the fact that they were in a public place.

An eyewitness, Samule Nebort, who felt sorry for the guy that has been blatantly rejected took to his Facebook page to ask what others would do if they found themselves in any such situation.

Well there can be 2 scenarios here and both are not good,

The first one could be the wife has actually exhibited some traits that she will actually say this "this is my father’s house".
the wife may not think it's an issue, but the man does. Which means both partners are not team players.

The second could be false pride on the man's part. There is nothing wrong in letting your wife cover up where you are vulnerable - as long as she does not rub it in your face.

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has attributed the low turn-out of voters in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections to alleged rigging of the presidential poll.

Atiku spoke after casting his ballot at the Ajiya polling unit 02, Gwadabawa ward of Yola north local government of Adamawa state.

In my state alone in the south south, the Governor replaced 150 names from the original INEC ad-hoc staffs that went for training on the eve of election day.

You should know Buhari has a strong base in the North, unlike Atiku that is neither here nor there.

I wanna ask you, if Kanu now comes and contest and election and his party wins by a landslide in the Eastern states will you call that rigging?
Of course the opposition will scream its rigging, but we both know Kanu is capable of winning in a landslide because of his strong base there.
