People oriented indeed. Like his father, Saraki prefers to give fish than teach people how to fish. Baba Oloye preferred giving kwarans food every Friday than building roads/giving qualitative education/world class hospital. You cannot give what you don't have. Saraki Jnr grew up in this environment and liked it. He is fast discovering though, that Nigeria is a bigger entity than kwara. All his antecedents shows a man who believe in the culture of elitism than pro masses consideration. It was his tenure, he wanted the Governors forum to produce the next president, now as Senate President, his eyes are on 2019/2023, but God will not allow it happen. ![]() Not forgetting his running down societe general bank, his wife scandal, handing over to his stooge in kwara, sponsoring social media act, deny it as much as he can. In the Senate, his culture of protectionism for the elite has already started, as Senate President, he created more standing committees than ever before just to maintain grip on power. As long as he gives the other senators committee chairman, maybe they will allow him. He cares only about himself, going against his party wishes. He is NO pro people, try as he may to spin the story. And his career will end in Senate. We are as nation cannot go back to those times, a few owned everything and drove past in convoy and we hailed them and their children. The likes of IBB, Atiku, and their Ilk prefer that lifestyle of master- slave. |
ojmaroni247:No, they don't have crude Oil. Good and selfless leadership. Plus citizens who are aware and so boot out anybody not performing This income been proposed will actually stop all other benefits, housing, disability etc and just make it a one off bonus every month. But as the article rightly states, some groups are opposed to the proposal. The fear is if you give people money, handouts it makes them unproductive. Yet studies after studies, shows these not to be entirely correct. |
Aremu01:That's Aisha in the pic. His second wife. What a joke if true. Must an ' Audu' be in govt house. This governor should be careful, who he picks. |
masterpower:Because you were his account officer. |
FastShipping:He should borrow a leaf from the new York prosecutor Bharara |
Ouk of all people advising on how to recover stolen money. He lives in one of the poshest places in washington DC called Potomac. He didn't acquire that by sheer hard work. |
abram10:Did u read the link you yourself posted. It was the white house spokesman opinion, not the electoral body. But I guess to make front page is more important than fact. Donald Trump remains in the race. He won't win though. |
baby124:Nothing to add. |

I am now convinced Dino Melaye, grew up deprived and poor. he still can't believe he has made it. Kpele Dino, the wife beater and the one who impregnated a woman and denied it. |
This is more handy than those foreign themed ones .I like it..just needs better packaging. But pity the poor soul who will carry it. Those yams/coco are heavy. I want this for Xmas. |
See the backhand slap coming his way |
moscobabs:You are right. Can you throw more light on suitable format for use. Thanks. |
Kellyakon:3 minimum, I believe. You welcome. |
Kellyakon:Found this for you, type 'Nigeria CV' on Google
|
Kellyakon:Since its IT, am assuming you still in higher institution. The format should be something like this; Name -Surname, first name Date of birth Contact address Email/ tel number Educational background Primary- dates Secondary- dates started and ended University/Poly- start date to present Places you worked and dates if any Your goals- two lines of what you want to accomplish and what drives you. Referees You may put a cover letter addressed to the MD stating why you want to work with them. |
Kellyakon:Yes. Put your references.. I don't subscribe to that ' reference can.be provided on request'. |
Moborhlar:Attached as well. |
Attachment. Preferably in PDF format. Makes it easier for the person across to download and print. Don't forget to include the position you applying for in subject line. Seen some CVS with no subject matter. Mds receive tons of emails and may skip yours. |
akp202:Whether he is nairalander or not is secondary, the future president of nigeria may be reading this.. I'm.more interested in him/her than the present. As someone else said fix power. Another said attitudinal change. I concur with both, even though you cannot force people to change attitude, the bad attitude is in most cases coming from anger, and sense of injustice. Also fix our Constitution to reflect greater autonomy so states can use their resources. Fix federal roads using reputable companies such that those roads last 5-10 years. Any contractor not able to guarantee this, blacklist them. Then to fix our energy poverty, aggressively pursue renewables such as geothermal and solar, we have this two in abundance. Of course reform our law enforcement agencies. So many trial by media and very few real convictions but someone who stole 10K can be sentenced to death by hanging. Few convictions because the lawyers are incompetent so make the prosecution lawyers hired based on ability. Just few of the ideas. Truth of the matter is idea is not so much the problem but political will. Most of these things I'm writing others have already articulated them. Also reform our electoral laws so we can have those who sincerely want to make a change. |
cescky:You said it all |
This is terrible. Shame.on APC. I hope Dickson is serious about documenting these human rights violations. After documenting them, even if the fg does nothing about it, since they are in the center. He should send the report to the UN, foreign embassies. Travel ban for Sylva and all.those involved. I know for a fact the US does not issue visas for those with serious human right violations over their heads. USA is like heaven to these idiotic politicians either for healthcare or for vacations. Hit them where it hurts. Everyone knows Bayelsa is for PDP and for Sylva and the leadership of APC due to desperation to hold youth corpers against their will, set thugs and main abiding citizen all for an election is beyond pale. My fear is once Dickson is sworn in as Governor, he is going to forget all those who paid with their lives in typical Nigeria fashion. He should not. Those with blood on their hands cannot carry on normally if we really serious about moving Nigeria forward. This is beyond apc or PDP. |
RickRichards:Exactly. Very grainy images |
IBB will go to his grave with the true knowledge of what happened to some of the finest soldiers Nigeria ever had. Join us in saying no to the so called social media bill sponsored by the poorly dressed Ibn N'alla and his cohorts, Saraki and Dino. If you don't want to be reviled, stay at home and dont seek public office. Apc rode to power in part due to social Media and to seek to cut down its powers now is a travesty. Venue- Unity fountain, Abuja Tuesday 8 December
|
The senators should pass a bill of death penalty to treasury looters instead of muzzling free speech that seeks to expose their corruption. Say NO to social media law March with us on Tuesday 8 Decemeber at Unity fountain to National assembly.
|
One downside to this PDP logic is; Once a sitting governor is about to be defeated, he will send assassins to the Home of his opponent, have him killed and because he is trailing in second place ask Inec to declare him winner and continue in leadership. Since death invalidates your vote, according to PDP, political assassination will be used to settle the ballot. I believe the framers of our Constitution are wiser than that. Wada lost having performed woefully according to the people of Kogi state, seeking to come through the back door is just shameful, but I hear all politicians are shameless. If be had performed well in office, all these calculations will not be needed. Lokoja today, remains one of the dirtiest, capitals in Nigeria. |

Iroh88:No..it's not. They should cut down to one wife and not marry wives and mistresses. There are other ways of saving money than cutting down minimum wage. The statement is laced with many meaning so don't blame Me or Fayose if you cannot understand this. It' goes beyond LITERAL Interpretation |
Because it's right to find out why Boko haram was left to kill and displace millions of Nigeria. Even a child will not ask this question. Go to bed please. |
Brilliant response from Fayose ![]() Hate him or like him, you cannot ignore this man. I daresay in addition, only a sadist will take exception to this statement. How can you cut down on something already so small, its like dividing O. Some of these governors advocating this cut down of minimum wages have two to three wives, mistresses and their children live like prince and princess. We need a body count of governors who are advocating this nonsense. They are also the types that will want to go to Senate after their tenures as Governors. Thumbs up to Fayose and Oshiomole on this. Shame on Yari, governor of Zamfara and his fellow rogues. Last bullet- My comments above is the type Saraki led Senate want to muzzle, so Nigerians don't know the truth. Once the public hearing begins we should all March to Senate like the Yaradua saga. Shameless politicians; Saraki and Ibn Nalla and all supporters of this bill. ![]() |

Isn't this utter stupidity
