I will have to ask. I know a girl on DAAD scholarship, she got to Germany in October(she was pregnant though), her husband joined her in January. This is confirmed by me.

What I guess really happened is maybe the Foreign Office in Germany contacted German Embassy in Nigeria. But I will ask her about the details later.

I was referring to a spousal reunion visa and not a Student visa on scholarship basis.

I know, I’m asking because my friends on DAAD scholarship has a fast track preference to bring their spouse, usually about 3 months.

If you are already in Germany and have a decent salary that can cater for your family they are already eligible for a reunion visa.
The whole process is quite lengthy from Nigeria, so bring inn lots of Patience and prayer in the journey. Good luck.
