One thing is certain.

In as much as I want these girls to return, they can never return intact.

They can never return as they were taken.

Psychological trauma, molestation , Abuse.. Just think about it.

I feel for those girls mehn! Their only crime is that they are Nigerians.

Is it a crime to be a Nigerian?
Education › Re: OPINION: 8 Reasons Why Bsc Is Superior To HND by PStacks(m): 1:37pm On Jan 03, 2015
DrFunmi:
This is not true.
With the level of decadence in the educational system, polytechnic students hardly do quality practical work due to the state of the lab facilities and equipment. At the end of the day, most poly students still end up doing more theory than practical. The only difference is that uni grads do more theory than they do.
Besides, what differentiates a manager of a bank and an artisan on the street? Their ability to use their brains, not their muscles! Why do you think that the companies pay employees who sit in offices big salaries wile paying peanuts to the staffs actually doing the strenuous work? Cos, brains and intellects cost more than muscle work!
That is the mis-placed priority I'm talking about. A BSc holder can't sit in the office and design a programme from the figment of his imagination and ask an HND holder to go carry out the instructions to the teeth..

Let me give u an instance..

The BSc holders are the Soldiers in the Army Headquarters and say the HND holders are the Soldiers in Sambisa Forest.

Tell me, how can a soldier in Army headquaters that has never been to war front design a programme on how u should engage the boko haram.. If u ask me, its should be the other way round..

U can't sit in the office and tell me what to do on the field.

U can't dish orders from office and ask me to go engage boko boys the way u perceive it from your office, perception is different from reality.

So also theory is different from practical.

This is it. A soldier sits somewhere corners all the funds ment for people on the field, doesn't know the terrain and gives orders,

How would u order me to go where u've never been?

Some soldiers on the field complain that their superiors give them wrong co-ordinates and low grade weapons and lower ammunitions to face a well equipped boko haram..

Tell me how u sit in the office, u are not exposed to danger, and u ask me to expose myself to danger, giving me low equipment, and all dat and still expect me to perform.

This is what I'm saying. BSc is all talk, HND is practical..

That is why u have court marshals sentencing soldiers to death for mutiny..

I can't take orders from u sitting in one office and short-changing me and still ask me to go kill myself. Hell no.

I feel for those soldiers men!

Its a case of being wrong and benefitting from being wrong.

Those superior officers are wrong and they are benefitting from being wrong.

Back to the HND and BSc thing.

HND is practical and BSc is theory.

U can't sit in an office with theory and expect me to practicalise ur theory on field when u aren't even on field with me.

I heard some soldiers say they were given wrong cordinates and in following this wrong cordinates, they were ambushed and in a unit of 6, 5 were killed.

Tell me how I'm to follow orders the next time such theoretical order come.

Orders shouldn't be theory, orders should be practical..

Do as I do, not do as I say..
Education › Re: OPINION: 8 Reasons Why Bsc Is Superior To HND by PStacks(m): 12:33pm On Jan 03, 2015
Forgive me anyway..

I'm a university product tho! But not withstanding, I think HND is more of Practical and Hands-on while BSc is just mere theory.

If u ask me. I prefer a practical student to a theoretical student.

How can u explain a Graduate Mechanical Engineer from a university not being able to open his car bonnet to atleast take a look at what went wrong with his car stoping in the middle of the road, instead he chose to look for a nearby roadside mechanic to fix mere alternator that happened not to be charging his car battery, boasting to the mere mechanic how he studied mechanical engineering from Unilag..

If u ask me, who is more of a mech engineer? Its the road side mechanic ooo rather than the B.Eng graduate who knows nothing practical about how a simple internal combustion engine operates..

HND is more practical work and BSc is just theory and story.

Its so unfortunate that things that makes waves abroad are things we take for granted in nigeria..

In london, Barbers make hell of money, taxi drivers make hell of money, Baby-sitters make hell of money

But in nigeria, if u are a barber, u are on ur own, if u drive a taxi, u are finished, if u wash plates in a restaurant u are finished in naija,

But u have people leave naija and go abroad to do all this manial jobs and come back with plenty money and form boss here.

That tells us of mis-placed piorities in the system.

Until HND is promoted over BSc, until god given skills and talents are appreciated in naija then our society would be in reverse mode.

Thanks for your effort. The part u guys miss is the simplest and obvious one. He has contested under the umbrella of different political parties in the past. So now he is in APC and altogether a new candidate. He needs to submit his applications with his qualifications. You don't tell Jamb to go fish out your qualifications simply because you have applied severally and failed as many times.

At each seating, u submit your applications with all the necessary requirement. Someone please help explain this to GMB and his friends. The pharaoh wey sabi Joseph Don kpai. It's no longer business as usual. Meet this basic requirement my ebullient and world renowned general and let's move to the serious issues of the new year. God bless u sir.
Are you saying INEC doesn't keep records or they don't have a data Base? Or is Inec just trying to be mischievous?

If truly the pharoah wey sabi Joseph don pai, then e means we must revist the 2003, 2007 and 2011 elections for allowing an un-fit Buhari to contest.

This whole saga is an Inec headache however u look at it and not a Buhari headache, which leads me to ask how independent is inec?

PDP is Inec's pay master and as such Inec must do PDP's bidding.

I'm more disappointed in Inec than the "illitrate Buhari"..

U don't use someone's misfortune to judge them.. Let's say buhari is an illiterate, we have illitrate administrators that do better than administrators from Harvard.

Its just like saying because GEJ was unfortunate and had no shoes, then we shouldn't have voted him.

Pls I prefer an Illitrate Buhari to a Phd GEJ.

Its my choice.

We always chase shadows and forget substance in this part of the world.

Too much emphasise on certificates! That's why a 1st class graduate would go for an interview and can't defend his first class.

Anybody that thinks Buhari is an illiterate is sure an illiterate himself.

A Prophet they say has no honour in his home town cos the last I checked buhari's name was on an American website of top 25 generals that passed thru An American military institution with collin powel and a host of others.

Anything they say sha! My Vote is already locked down for Buhari.

The question is, is buhari an illitrate or is INEC a PDP appendage?

What did Buhari show Inec in 2003, 2007 and 2011.?

INEC don fall my hand already.

www.factchecki.ng

Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday launched a fact-checking website to counter all attacks on his personality by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

A statement by his media aide said the site is dedicated to sharing “facts and disapproving many lies being told by the Goodluck Jonathan campaign against Muhammadu Buhari.”

“This is announcing FactChecki.ng, a fact-checking site dedicated to sharing the facts and the figures, and disproving many lies being told by the Goodluck Jonathan campaign against Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress,” the statement said.

“Happy New Year! 2015 is the year we reset Nigeria’s clock by electing competence,” 'Gbenga Sesan, a social entrepreneur team and a member working on the site, said.

“Let’s kill lies against #GMB16 via factchecki.ng,” he said.

“Our volunteer effort seeks to kill lies that are introduced to discourage you from supporting the candidacy of Muhammadu Buhari/Yemi Osinbajo. Please share the facts from the FactCheki.ng website with everyone – via SMS, through your favourite radio/TV shows, on social media and much more,” Sesan said.

He urged Nigerians to cross check any statement by the PDP by mailing it to the site.

“If you come across any lies about Buhari or any claims which accuracy you are not sure of, please send such to lies@factchecki.ng,” the statement said.

Daily Trust reporter visited the site around 2:44pm on Thursday; some of the controversial claims against Buhari being addressed include questions such as “Did Muhammadu Buhari call for post-election violence or ask his supporters to kill? Did Buhari say Muslims should only vote for Muslim leaders? Did Buhari promise to make Nigeria ungovernable?”

The site handlers provided detailed answers to these controversial issues by providing video clips, online links to newspapers stories, among others to convince their audience.

Are u actually saying I should vote for cluelessness for a 2nd time?

Are you saying I should vote for more Chibok girls to be kidnapped?

Are u saying I should vote for another $20billion dollars to disappear from sales of crude oil?

Are u saying I should vote for more unemployed graduates to meet their Ùntimely death seeking employment at the Nigerian Immigration?

Are u saying I should vote a second term when gallant Soldiers would be sentenced to death for Mutiny on accounts that they refused orders asking them to go kill themselves, with lower rounds of ammunition and low grade equipment as opposed to boko haram artillery?

I mean, let's face it, who would receive orders that is literarilly saying "Go and Kill yourself"

Why should a soldier scarifice and die for a country when he knows the level of corruption he is exposed to.

Who amongst u these pdp e-warriors would volunteer to be a real warrior on the field and face boko haram with such conditions our armed forces are exposed to?

A nation that toys with her Armed forces, toys with her National Pride, her National Unity and indeed her sovereignty

Nigeria has descended so low.
Why should I vote for continuity of status quo.

I am voting for change.

Ím Voting for Buhari and that's it.

These PDP people have a way of always trying to make themselves feel good.

Except if no be this same article wey all of us read together.

Meaning to say, meaning to say, the nigerian problem is not today, buhari met a lot of debt and prices of oil were falling, that was the circumstances that surrounded him,

Today, Ngozi okonjo is proposing to take debts and also proposing Austerity.

Doesn't that say the same thing with what buhari took over, how long was buhari there to start with?

Experience they say is the best teacher, if buhari couldn't tackle it then, atleast he had experienced drop in oil price situation before, meaning this time he definately would apply more tact in handling this grave crisis instead of leaving it to GEJ that has never seen it B4,

Ok, the article said he introduced Austerity, isn't it Austerity Ngozi is proposing today?

So why follow the same old pattern of causing hardship, we need change from following old procedures.

If buhari brought Austerity then and Ngozi is brining austerity now, it means we have to choose who is a better manager.

Buhari has more managerial qualities than anybody I can see in nigeria today.

They say desperate situations deserves desperate measures,

Nigeria is facing Security problems,
Nigeria is facing drop in revenue,

Even Libya that has more money from oil revenue didn't survive it, we can't continue to toe this path that leads to chaos and destruction.

I'm not even voting Buhari because he is the only option of change to GEJ.

I'm voting him because I Believe in the Man himself.

Buhari is an institutionalised man. He has institutions in him.

Buhari is definitely the answer to where we find ourselves.

Things must change,

Things must turn around.
