hey guys i got my passport today and i was refused my student visa(long stay) reason been that i didn't register with campus france which i did and even submitted my attestation/registeration letter on the day of my vfs appointment....
Secondly the refusal letter bears a different person's name and different application reference no which is not mine and i am super confused because i submitted everything they requested that i submit and now i am getting this...i don't even know what to do...pls guys any suggestion for me? because i feel so bad...attached to this is the refusal letter which doesn't bear my name and application ref no

well for me. as my first timer i applied for tourist it was given it 50/50

This is the best advise for first time travelers. Is likely to get business visa than tourist visa as a first time traveller for Schenge visa. I have this experience when I first applied I was denied visa for tourist I later got a conference which I reapply and get the visa.

Yes it's a personal experience. I've renewed 2 passports so far, was asked to submit the first one after renewal back in 2017 and when I went to renew the second one last month, after the biometrics I was told that I'd have to submit the expired one when I come to pick up the new passport. So I'm genuinely surprised people actually go home with the expired passport after renewal.

Who am I that you are mindful of me? God has done it.. PPR IS here. After waiting for so long. I prophesied that this week was my week and God did it.

I am a silent reader here and I joined after I submitted my application, although I avoided this place for a while because of anxiety. After several emails, mp sent mails as well, I have started classes online for Fall 2021 at lambton college, currently doing the winter term, just last week Thursday I was asked to send my updated letter of acceptance but I sent enrollment letter instead , then I received PPR this afternoon. This is my timeline.

Submitted- May 11th 2021
Biometrics- May 24th 2021
Upfront medical - April 28th 2021
I don’t know when eligibility started.
Updated letter of acceptance request - Feb 3rd 2022
Passport request- February 7th 2022
Yes 9months!

See ehn I was so scared, I trusted God but I’m human right? But God said his ways are not my ways.
I submitted all the necessary documents even sent my fall transcript, please whatever you do just keep trusting God.

this same thing happened to me i didnt go back on my first shengen visa when i get back i was denied 3 times from 2 country of schengen area before apply for france last year and i got it same paper issue again and when i came back i visited vfs for appearance pls dont ignore tht message on the paper

I dud not pay attention to the paper attached to my visa when it was approved, i read about it 7 months later about going bck to vfs when return. I then proceed and submit it. Since then i have been refused 2 times. Though i have gotten other schengen visas after the refusal. Please anyone with idea on what to do to get france visa again?

My husband got his visa today after initial denial.
He replied and made necessary corrections
Biometric was jan 5 2022
Tls mail for passport collection was feb1 2022
He picked up his passport with visa feb 2 2022

Also about CAC his company is showing inactive on Cac search online. But he attached the evidence of annual filing to his application. I uploaded that earlier.

It was very smooth. I landed in Barcelona and just passed my passport to the immigration officer. No questions asked actually. My details were taken; photographs and finger prints. Very friendly people and a lovely country.

You are very correct, I just returned from a trip to Spain even though the visa was issued by France; I had indicated in my application that I would be visiting Spain. I went straight from Lagos to Spain without passing through France. Interestingly, our Naija oversabi airline wanted to stop me at the airport but i was just laughing at their ignorance. When i was tired of them i asked them to call their boss for me and i explained my situation to her. He cautioned them accordingly. I cited this experience to buttress the fact that there’s a lot of misconceptions on this matter, even the airline staff are not exempted.

Chief, I am not a party to asking people to go and read from page 1 just to get information. Most of those information are stale and out of date. Before now, fee was 40k now its 48k. Before you dont need covid vaccine card to apply but now it is compulsory, since december.

So i will support people who have gone through the process recently to keep updating others who are about to do theirs. That is how you keep the thread fresh with information.

It is not fair that people will come here, ask questions, get info, then get their visa a d disappear or not answer other's questions. It unfair.

I will suggest, anyone, if you see any question you think you have information to, kindly help by dropping answers.

cool i was the No 1 dey dont use to keep up to time like VFS, i was there 7.30AM waited till 9.30am before i could enter sit and wait to be called all original were returned apart from My Passport well FINGLE IS CROSS NOW till i hear back from them
