I used to be a Mr Biggs ambassador cos they 'disvirgined' my pastries mouth. But over the years, I've come to realize they are dead and gone, posing serious threat to your health. I remember the first shocking experience I had with them, it was at the Mr Biggs at Okigwe Road in Owerri. I bought fried rice and salad only to find maggots in the salad. the next time I went there, they apologized and promised it would never happen again only to buy salad that same day and there were more maggots. another terrible experience was when a friend came to visit me in Ibadan. I asked him to wait at Mr Biggs in Iwo Road. He ordered jollof rice and he was very cold rice. They said there is no electricity. at the one in Idi Ape, I went to eat one evening. While paying the girl, I dropped my phone, the cheapest Nokia torchlight phone, after eating, I remembered and quickly went back to her but she outrightly denied. there is one nasty Mr Biggs outlet in Maryland in Lagos too. I went there to meet someone for a business meeting. They told me I couldn't use my laptop nor plug anything while many other entries are luring customers with free WiFi. I've heard similar experiences in Enugu, Abuja, Abia and elsewhere. In short, that brand is doomed |
I really feel sad reading this story, more sad reading the comments of Muslims on this website who are supporting the Etsu Nupe. It goes a long way to show how myopic and intellectually deficient many people are. All I can see in the story is the agony of a father who doesn't know the truth concerning the fate of his daughter. But because your religion is gaining one additional member, you believe it is okay to kidnap another man's daughter and brainwash her while yours are closely kept underneath hijabs. Jokes apart, this is totally inhuman and degrading to the rational mind. Ever wonder why this will NEVER happen in Christianity? It's because we have conscience, commonsense and are not befuddled with cannibalism, pedophilia, agitation and intellectual psychosis. Smh for Islam |

Copied from http://www.healthnewsng.com/2013/07/africa-has-done-amazing-job-in-malaria.html?m=1 The director of the World Health Organization’s Global Malaria Programme, Dr. Robert Newman has told HealthNewsNG the world health governing body is satisfied with the amount of work that has been done in Africa over the past ten years in the control of malaria. In an exclusive interview, Newman said several major strides have been achieved especially in securing financial and political commitments from African states. “I think Africa has done an amazing job over the past 10 years compared to when I first went to Africa in 1995 to where it is today in 2013, there has been several major strides. What made it possible is increase in political commitment and that was evident in the just concluded summit. There has also been increase in financial commitment. Political commitment is critical but without financial resources, nothing much could be achieved,” Newman told HealthNewsNG. He noted that while there has been a global increase in financial commitment towards the fight against malaria, Africa has enjoyed a major part of the funds. And this has led to the scale-up of various control measures resulting in significant decline in maternal mortality. “There has been increase in finance worldwide but most of it has been in Africa which has brought tremendous results such scale up of preventive measures such as long-lasting insecticide-treated mosquito nets, rapid diagnostics, effective treatment with combination therapy, and the result has been impressive – 33 per cent decline in malaria mortality in Africa over the past decade,” he said. He however noted that while current efforts are producing results as evident in decline in mortality rates across Africa, a lot still needs to be done since malaria is totally treatable and preventable. He said: “This is great news but we should also realize that there is still a lot of work to be done for a disease that is entirely treatable and preventable. “90 per cent of the people that die from malaria are from Africa including children under the age of 5. Those children are counting on us that the lifesaving commodities such as diagnostics and insecticide-treated mosquito nets get to everywhere they are needed. “Another challenge is “how do we measure the impact of the interventions?” and there is also the issue of surveillance. So it’s not just about collecting data alone; it’s about collecting data, analyzing it and acting on it. “At the local level, we need to understand what is responsible for the results we are having. If the prevalence is increasing, we need to understand why this is so – are people not taking their medicines or are the drugs not working? Or are we just having a rainy year with a lot of mosquitoes?" http://www.healthnewsng.com/2013/07/africa-has-done-amazing-job-in-malaria.html?m= |

And I'm visiting this country next month. After reading this ordeal, I feel like abandoning the trip totally. SA is so disgusting when it comes to xenophobia. Olugbala gbami o, I feel giving the visa to any of those who are desperate to go to Johannesburg |
So what is the poster trying to say? That she should have worn what her mum wore on her wedding day? I don't think so. I even thought she wore something outlandish and revealing. As far as I'm concerned, she dressed decently and moderately just like the Bible says. By the way, by attempting to judge her you've committed a sin cos we were told to desist from judging others. But I doubt you know where that is. All you are interested in is to soil the Kumuyi family name. Shame on you. Mumu like you |
My problem with tennis is we keep hearing same names for many years. Na so so Andy Murray, Roger Federer, Sharapova and the Williams sisters. They no dey discover new talents? And why organize an elaborate competition when you already know who will win? |
