Ogun would have been just another Ekiti, Osun, Ondo etc if not for Lagos. Over 95% of the industries in Ogun are there because of Lagos. If you put Yobe state in the geographical location of Ogun state, Yobe will still have those industries. Take a look at Agbara or Sango Ota and see how terrible those places are despite all those industries there.

It's not about chest beating because there is absolutely nothing to brag about in the SW except Lagos axis and you can't brag with that. Same way Hausas, Fulanis or even Gbagyes can't brag with Abuja.
