You see Nigeria's government trying to stop doctors and other health workers from leaving Nigeria recently but they couldn't but if Nigeria was really under the military rule it would only take a single order, not to mention Nigeria would be blacklisted by the west for investments and many Nigeria's government assets in UK and US and Europe would be confiscated, they would also withdraw their companies and investments from Nigeria, i forsee the Naira trading as high as 5000 naira against the dollar by then.

Nigeria may barely survive with the help of China and Russia but I'm 100% sure the economic situation of Nigeria would be much worse than now. This is no longer the abacha era where Nigeria population was lower, with little technology and industrial advancement and without much agitation and insecurity, military government in Nigeria may as well be the last stroke that will finally destroy Nigeria.

One thing that many people don't also know is that it will be much easier for South East to secede from Nigeria under military rule, when all their politicians looting their money are out of the picture, they will be more united in their fight for Biafra.

If you are in charge of a multi billion dollars company and you are thinking of the possibility of investing in USA and the president of USA personally invited and met you to promised you that he will support you in every way possible if you decided to invest in the country, wouldn't it boost your confidence and encourage you to make that decision ? afterall your investment can fail and end in losses if the Government decided to suffocate your company's efforts with high taxes and other unfavorable government policies but if the president in charge personally make promises and guarantee to you that you won't face such problems, you won't worry about that.
