The University of Bristol, United Kingdom has appointed a female Nigerian, Foluke Adebisi as a Professor of Law.

The PUNCH reports that Adebisi, who holds a Master of Laws degree from the same institution joined the institution in 2013.

According to a post by the Society of Black Academics which was sighted by our correspondent on LinkedIn, Adebisi’s appointment makes her the 61st black female Professor in the UK.
