Topmc: Attention Gurus in the house.... Please where can I upload other supporting documents at the new portal. I could only see 4 portion of attachments. Letter of acceptance, payment of tuition receipt, proof of fund and other document. I can't find where to attach other supporting documents. Pls enlighten me. I will advise you to upload as many documents as possible. I suggest you group all relating documents on each section and compress them to the approved 2mb. For instance, under the Letter of Acceptance section, put the LOA alongside other documents such as Tuition receipts, academic documents and transcripts, IELTS results, etc This is what I did |

gaeul: When I wanted to start my application I heard of NSE and wrote IELTS. I proceeded for my upfront medicals in October but alas they saw scar and I did three more x-ray and was told I would have to do sputum. Did sputum for 3days and was told it takes 8weeks for result to be out.
I had wanted to chill till result are out but had to apply for my student permit a month after my medicals in November.
Submitted and did biometrics, then the long wait for the result of the sputum. Fortunately, I passed the sputum December but was asked for one more medicals but I was already pregnant (I got pregnant same month I submitted). They said the last medical is another x-ray. I left UK after my second miscarriage in 2014 and I have been trying to concieve for 5years. I sent someone to IOM for alternative as my gynecologist said No X-ray unless is Life threatening situation. IOM said no alternative.
I resolved never to do x-ray as no ambition is worth more than my baby. I surfed and surfed information to no avail. I had to inform IRCC of my decision not to do X-ray as I was pregnant. I told them plain and simple that my baby is worth more than my ambitions and asked for alternative to x-ray. I attached my pregnancy scan and previous miscarriage documents. They replied me that they have forwarded my request to the appropriate office.I was shocked when my medical changed to passed last week. 4 months after a very complicated back and forth medicals stuggle. The last X-ray was waived as a result of my pregnancy.
Because of my medical glitches, I didn't pay any school fees but I asked my school to give me a letter stating tuittion or tuitton deposit isn't a requirement which they did.
Many people told me they don't give pregnant women student permit but God did it. I didn't risk doing any x-ray with my baby and I got my permit.
I return all the glory to God. My correspondence letter came same day as medicals. I was so tensed but I kept praying. Thankfully my PPR came today.
Pregnancy isn't a limitation but a blessing and it shouldn't be a reason for refusal and I hope my experience encourages a pregnant mother or prospective mother that they can achieve their dreams even with pregnancy.
In all you do, never forget to pray. God is still a God of awesome wonders. I return all the Glory to God Almighty.
To every one waiting for their PPR, may God grant the desires of your hearts.
I want to thank everyone who have shared their timeline or experiences here, you all are the best. You have helped thousands of people unknowingly...May God bless you all
As for proof of finance, I used my personal bank account with just enough for my first year fees and first year living expenses and my land document. I bought the land to preserve my 2nd year tuition fees from naira devaluation which I stated on my LOE.
Thanks to Nairaland I did my application without the help of any agent. Thanks all Congratulations. God is awesome |

We utilized the NEW PORTAL for the application. Our timeline is highlighted below and please note we DIDNT pay any school fees
Application Submission - December 31, 2021
Biometrics Completed - January 4, 2022 (updated same day)
Upfront Medicals Updated - February 10, 2022.
Eligibility Review Commenced - February 17, 2022 Correspondence Letter - February 21, 2022 Original Passport Request - February 21, 2022 We have a very similar story. I remember you took a leap of faith by dropping your timeline before approval and I followed suit. My prayer is that every applicant shall get speedy positive response. This good feeling shall go round in Jesus Mighty name. I am specially rooting for Teemenzo, Scott99tish and KellyKk. Quick questions guys; (1) Should I send wifey's passport or wait a little for my son's PPR to arrive? (2) She is supposed to start studies by 6th of May 2022, but we have deferred to September, 2022 for some reasons. At what point do I inform IRCC of the deferral? |

LONG POST ALERT This testimony is on behalf of my wife, who is a silent member of this forum and has been following this thread consistently since Part 19. The Canada journey started in 2019. We started with the EE route by doing WES and writing IELTS, but due to age, we couldn't gather the needed points. Getting PNP also became difficult. So, in 2021, we decided to focus fully on the study route. As such, my spouse and I devoted time to gathering knowledge from this thread. The biggest challenge we had was how to convince the VO on her choice of program (Master of Organizational Management) considering her career as an Auditor in the public service with previous degrees in Accounting( 1st) and Policy Analysis (MSc). She also had lump sum deposits into her account. However, we took another 3 months to systematically build her account as a self-sponsored applicant and also gave detailed explaination on every lump sum deposits in a separate LOE. So, after settling for Crandall (she got admission into many colleges) we eventually submitted her application alongside a visitor visa application for my son. TIMELINE Application Submitted- 6th December, 2021 Biometric Completed - 8th December, 2021 Biometric confirmed - 9th December, 2021 Upfront Medicals - 3rd February, 2022 Upfront Medical Passed - 15th February, 2022 Eligibility Started - 17th February, 2022 BVL - 21st February 2022 PPR- 21st February, 2022. I started sending mails to IRCC email addresses on 13th February, 2022, when her medical was not updated. I sent the mails like twice daily and got the generic response. Upon her PPR, I noticed that my son's medical was updated to pass today and his eligibility review also started today. Hopefully, his PPR is dropping soon as well. DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED (1) SOP 7 pages. (written by me. It took me over a month. I had to edit over and over) (2) LOA (one year Master of Organizational Management at Crandall University, New Brunswick) (3) Full tuition payment receipt (4) First degree and MSC results and Transcripts (5) IELTS results (6) 4 months Pay slips for both of us (7) Company registration documents with Tax Clearance (we both run the company) ( Notarized letter of support from me (9) Her personal and family travel history to US, UK, (10) Landed properties (11) Her regular bank statement (6 months) (12) Marriage certificate (13) Family pictures, (14) promotion and employment letters for both of us (15) professional certifications (ANAN, IIA) (16) Police Clearance Certificate Special thanks to GOD ALMIGHTY for making this happen. All glory to Him alone now and forever. I also thank LIANNA2020 who helped me tremendously on how to go about the SOP, OMIINII for looking at the SOP for free,TESTIMONYONLINE for moral support, LEKKIBOBOE for mentioning the University, MAKANO, FRANKROBBN and JUSTMELLOW for sparing time to answer my numerous questions. To all other gurus, I appreciate you. Meanwhile, I used the IRCC portal not GCkey |

Good morning Nairaland Family. I have come to give back to the source that gave me hope on this journey since May 2019 2021. Its PPR GUYS!!!!
I dedicate this testimony to God Almighty, the one who got times and season in his hands. Though it was a long wait from getting ITA for SINP in October 2019 to rejection in April 2020 and starting the Study permit journey in November 2020 , but it happened when it was meant to be.
November 2020, I decided to explore the study route after an attempt at PNP with no success.
This is my First application (Self and Brother sponsor) Age= 44yrs Applied for Admission=== December 2020 Course === Masters in Organizatiinal Management ( already have Masters in HR from UK (online) Biomerics ======= May 26th Medical passed =====. But I cannot but come back to say thanks to everyone. I learnt so much here. Will drop timeline soon. Still crafting it. May 14th 2021 till Feb 10th 2022. Glory to Jesus Christ! Congratulations to you, Ralphchucks, Obibaby and Audrey1111. I declare by faith that my celebration time is coming soon! Amen!! |
