slimberry16: Okay so time for timeline and Gist. This is my 6th admission to conestoga (crazy right ? ) I’ve been getting admission since 2018 but never really made it to the visa application stage because of one document or the other most especially POF but somehow this year I made it work and FINALLY applied. I’ve been denied US visa, Turkish visa and Australian visa in the past so I didn’t exactly have a good record. But the only thing I’ll say is, when you see agents RUN OOH !! They don’t do anything special you’ll end up doing all the work and the only thing they’ll do is fill forms ( secretary isonu ). I did my application by myself from admission to PPR. I don learn my lesson
TIMELINE Application submitted: Aug 23 Biometrics done : Aug 27 Medical Request: Oct 20 Medical done : Nov 12 Medical passed : Nov 22 BVL & PPR : Dec 13
DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED Sponsors SOA Affidavit of sponsorship Sponsors employment and promotion letter Sponsors Tax ID & Work ID Property documents in my name Employment letter Letter of introduction from my company All my certificates (Bsc and Professional) Birth certificate Police Certificate My personal statement of account Tuition payment ( only paid the 1500 deposit) Letter of Acceptance
That’s all (I think)
Again, If you haven’t applied do it by yourself! Agents don’t do anything special.
And oh thanks to mankind for sharing some vital information with me
Success to everyone still awaiting Goodnews✅ Congratulations. Maple land will favour you |

Jxool: PPR ALERT GUYS !!!!!
I was so so happy guy got my ppr today.

WHAT GOD CANT NOT DO DOES NOT EXIST. God has been wonderful to me.
Am 40years no BSC no other qualifications apart from weac result and neco. But I put everything in Gods hand before I submitted my application.

December 13,2021 I was sitting watching movie on my iPad when I got the message for Correspondent letter and Ppr

gwen01: My Application was refused today after 4months of waiting.
I got to know about this thread after applying through an agent. I was really a novice then.
Please what is the next step I can take. The agent told me to hold on for now till after the ban is lifted. The custom is, get your GCMS notes to have a proper grasp of the refusal reasons and refire. I suggest DIY, so discard your agent. The fact that he is asking you to wait sums it all. The information and knowledge here is abundant. God speed! |

heydamiejay: LONG POST ALERT
MARCH 2021 i got conditional offer from centennial college to study human resource management (pgd) i took a pause for 5months because i did not have enough money to pay for my deposit to get the proper admission letter (LOA), and also i did not have any means to to get proof of funds for visa application .so i had a friend who i said i could use his account he is into construction ,he had a balance of 20million but he wont be able to transfer the money to my account cos it is for his work.i remember asking a guru here if its possible to use a friends account and he was like 3rd party is not guarantee but nothing is impossible.so i took faith and use the account ,the worst will be a rejection and i will re strategize for my next application .i did not pay any deposit required by the school i just went ahead to use the admission deposit letter to apply.
As at when i applied in july 31 the statement of i used was 2moths late,it was not recent it was printed as at June 2nd ,i did not know the statement of account to be use has to be printed few days to your application to show its recent ,but i had already submitted my application.
my sop was just one page very scattered ,i wrote the wrong passport number in my sop .when i was addressing my sponsor i just wrote he is my uncle i did not add any picture or documents to prove relationship ,my home ties i said i had my mum and my dad back home to come back to . After 3moths and 2weeks i decided to send a web form to remind ircc that i need a decision to know my next step in life.i sent the web form like 2ce, after then i just got feed up and i stopped checking, maybe because i have not even paid any school fee that might even be the reason for delay ,i paid for gcms notes with @mekano i was even reluctant to send my details ,he called to follow up for my details till now i have not still sent it cos i gave up on the application. 3rd week of November i decided to check my account but i could not access it ,it continued like that for over a week ,last friday i just decided to try it on another browser and behold it was original passport request(PPR) it dropped since on the 7th of December but saw it on the 10th,mind you my phone screen is bad so i did not have access to my mail i tried opening it on my system but was giving me plenty authentication wahala i just left it .
when i saw the ppr i ran out of my office was jubilation on the street telling my mum the good news .the lord did it when i was almost giving up no school fee paid ,no plenty documents submitted i used a total outsiders account for proof of fund ,all indication was against me but he turned it around for me for good .thank you Lord, i pray this favor goes round

All of sudden the people who were active suddenly went off. if I do suspect anyone who is in the WhatsApp group ask Me questions I don't think he or she will like my reply. That aside I'm so glad I met some Nigerians today at kotoka intl Airport Accra sorting out their tickets as well. The man I met and chatted with on the queue travelling to winipeg do say hello if you're on this thread. I'm glad to know alot of us are travelling through Accra. Absolute nonsense indeed. |

Aijay26: please tell us how much it cost. From rerouting to airbnb. Please I want to estimate these cost Bro, please pardon me for dragging you back. The new link you used in applying, can I merge documents for each section? For example, for the Lettee of Acceptance section, can I put the LOA first and then merge other documents such as academic qualifications and transcripts to it? I noticed the link restricts to only 2mb and there are so many documents to be uploaded. The consent and additional documents sections would not be enough. Your timely response will be appreciated please |

What reasons can I give for an accompanying child? The funds for his upkeep has been provided and there are 2 other kids and spouse available as home ties. Thinking about these things can be overwhelming

I really appreciate the work y'all do here. I've been a silent reader and I've learnt so much from this platform.
I'm pleased to say that I got my PPR last week.
However, I have a question.
How can someone show proof of funds when asked at the Point of Entry (POE) into Canada?
All the funds I need are in my sponsor's account. Should I just print his bank statements and letter of sponsorship or transfer the funds to my account?
Please treat as urgent. Thanks. I can see you have done the needful. Congrats |

Congratulations to all PPR recipients. I refrained from quoting you all so that there would be space for many to testify on this particular thread. However, you can be sure I have "liked" your respective testimonies and I rejoice with you. For those who have dropped detailed timelines, God bless you. For those who are yet to drop, please endeavour to. This is where many of us learn from. Also endeavour to include documents submitted and peculiar circumstances in your timelines. There's no better way give back that this.
Once again, congratulations to you all. To those waiting for PPR, your testimonies shall come.

TennieYF: Long post alert!!! It could only have been God, it has ended in praise. My journey started 2019 July during my NYSC. I was still a novice about Visa applications then and my focus was on going to a top rated school. I applied to McMaster, Memorial and McGill. I don't know why I thought I would be able to afford them without funding(lol). Got admission to McGill in February 2020 but the tuition was almost 30k with zero funding and I wasn't selected for the scholarship I applied for in November 2019.
I deferred the admission with the hope of reapplying for the scholarship the next year while still applying to other schools. I still wanted a high ranking uni but this time I was more strategic and looked for for schools with good ranking but relatively affordable fees. I applied to both UBC and UAlberta and only got UAlberta admission. I also reapplied for the MasterCard scholarship for McGill since I had a deferred admission, this time I was nominated and was so happy. I went through the rigorous scholarship application process and submitted Jan 2021 only to get a rejection from the scholarship in April, I won't lie it broke me and I almost gave up but we moooooove. Thankfully I had my University of Alberta admission so I started my Visa application and eventually submitted in May.
My timeline is as follows: [ ] Upfront medicals: May 13th [ ] Applied : May 14th ( I didn't include my medicals slip because I wanted to submit it with my IELTS result, lol but they updated it to pass before the physical IELTS result came out). [ ] Medicals updated to pass: May 21 [ ] Biometrics: May 24, updated same day [ ] IELTS: May 17th (I did CBT so my result came out online in 2 days) - LRSW; 8.5/9/7.5/8.0 band score: 8.5. [ ] Eligibility review: Sept 7, 2021. [ ] BVL and PPR: Sept 7, 2021. Program: MPH, Occupational and Environmental health School: University of alberta Duration: 2 years course.
Please note I did not get NSE request but sent the IELTS via webform. Also, I used a stanbic mutual funds account so I was unable to get an MBS so I just used a regular bank statement and confirmation of investment letter. The funds available were not so much so I was scared it might affect my application but God thank God for grace.
After submission, I realized that some things I submitted in the financial part were really blurry, so I sent them again via webform and emails. Also, registration for tuition opened late May but I only paid for fall semester and sent the tuition receipt via webform and emails.
I also got a notarized confirmation of name affidavit because the name on my international passport was shortened to Teniola as opposed to all my others documents that beared Oluwateniola. I sent it with a mini LOE explaining that both are the same thing, I sent both via webform and emails.
Special shoutout to Lekiboeboe, he helped to review my SOP and adjust it without charging me a dime. I initially wanted to use an agent but that one charged 1m, me wey no get money, I ran away, lol. Also, shoutout to Frank, when I sent him a mail about my SOP he was willing to help as well but it was short notice and I really wanted to meet up with the May 15th deadline then. But he still helped me look through and encouraged me that my application had prospects.
I used table of contents for both client information and Proof of funds part. My POF part also had like a mini LOE because I wanted to explain all the transactions and any lump sum very well. I have attached pictures of both below to show the documents I submitted.
I wouldn't lie there were times when I felt discouraged and my faith was shaky, but I always encouraged myself with God's word and followed NLP morning prayers diligently to boost my faith. My NLP people I have Received it o and the Wait is over!!!! Surely what God cannot do doesn't exist! It has ended in praise for me and it will end in praise for all PPR hopefuls on the TL! Big congratulations to you Teniola and other PPR recipients. For those expectant, we shall read your testimonies and rejoice with you in Jesus mighty name. I must say, your timelines and explanations are detailed and helpful. I am definitely saving this for my DW's application. I am still gathering knowledge in preparation for her application.... |

OCT202020: In all fairness,if the agent's hand wasn't dirty,he would have notified him of the procedural fairness letter, let's even assume he didn't check his mail on time and the applicant was banned , what happened to coming out clean if you've got nothing to hide? You are smart very smart. This agent of doom called Wokos is wicked and has his hands full of shady practices. Beyond the fact that he hid the truth about the application from the victim, the encounter @Faithyyyyy had with him, during which he encouraged faithy to forge documents, summarises his conduct and character. The person and character of wokos is shady and evil. People like him should be called out loud to prevent others falling victim... Mmamaroon: She has contributed her quota........MSc and maxing IELTS.....will she consider French? Many people feel like it's not something they can do, but if you consider the upside +72 points if she gets CLB 7 in LRWS....it may be worth it.
There's also SINP if her NOC is on the list and she has many years of work experience.
