We attend your wedding, house warming, naming ceremony and we eat and no problem in that. So not celebrating and accepting gifts related to your festival does not turn us to be enemy. It's simple understanding.

Accept Islam sincerely and still keep on trying, how does this add up? Justification does not come on the basis of good work or self imposed righteousness but through the merit of Jesus Christ. Our righteousness is like a filthy rag before God, the Just shall only live by faith.

In Islam, sitting at home and praying alone will not solve your problems, you have to pray first, then take action, then pray. For example, you want to be a medical doctor and you didn't take action to attend medical school but you're praying about fervently, will you become a medical doctor?
It's that prayer that will amplify your small actions to become a big success. Clear example here is that not everyone who went through same journey in life become successful equally. Some pass through hardship and enjoyed less success while some passed through hardship and enjoy big success. All is down to prayer and the mercy from Allah.

I haven't felt any difference and you reminded me of a 3rd sacrifice which I think I already paid for. Imagine, this herbalist A has more than 3 houses and I have none.

The problem here is that my problems look spiritual. I have skills that can't put food on my table.

Do a sincere repentance, and then accept Islam whole heartedly. You will need to keep on trying your effort by using your skills to provide services or to apply for a job, and then observed prayers prescribed directly by Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Aside your own effort, there are Islamic ways to treating spiritual attacks which we called Prophetic Ruqya. Collecting money for this favor is what was prohibited according to the writeup. And this is because not every time you pay for such service would your female animals got pregnant. Will you come again to pay for same service, same animal for the second, third... to infinite time? It's a form of cheating and not a clear transaction. Islam prohibit such transaction. Do you know that everything OP mentioned is also in the other religion especially Christianity, but the hatred they have for Islam won't allow them to practice what's in their book. We can see how their reverend sisters dresses to imitate Mary, the virtuous woman.
