Bobomaigida:

1. Decide on a course he wants to study, if he has been working, then a course related to his present work will be ideal.
2. With that course in mind start searching online for schools that offer that course and their admission requirements. (You can reach out to Bullstriker on this thread for help here)
3. Be gathering your POF, the bigger the better but sources of the fund must be identified and if you have lump/huge deposits in the account you must explain.
4. When you say CV and SOP review, are you saying have it ready and you need a second eye to look over it? Or you want someone to draft something for you?
Thanks for your response, he had actually applied to two school for construction project engineer which was in line with his work experience as a self employed and his application was denied. His company is dedicated to property management, building construction, and sales of various kinds of landed properties. And As a Director in his company with the years of experience he have had so far in his line of business, I think his CV and SOP have not properly addressed his duties. Hence the refusal, so I think if he can get someone to help look at his CV and SOP with second eye and adjust if there’s need. As per the fund, he has worked on this over the time.

Hello everyone,
Any mama in Maryland at the moment or Maryland bound soon?
Please I’m headed to maryland July/ August and I’m so confused. I birthed in Alaska the first time where everything was so close to each other and I didn’t worry about distance.
I’m trying to gather my burden of proof, I need affordable hospital please. I’m going to staying in baltimore(that’s where family is now). I was looking at Prince Goerge county hospital as I heard they are quite affordable. But now they seem to be closed. Some of the other hospitals seem pricey as Maryland only gives 1-2% and from the look of things I may be having CS.
Please considering my circumstance can anyone
1) recommend an affordable hospital ( preferably less than 10k with everything inclusive for vaginal and may be less than 12k for everything inclusive for CS? )

2) please can you recommend a doctor ? Is Dr. Chaudry still working? He used to
Use Prince Goerge county hospital is why I’m asking.

Please help thanks.
I used Dr Chaudry in 2020 in PG Hospital and I’m sure he’s still practicing but he moved his office to District Height now I think but you can use this website to search for Obgyn with good reviews too and get more information about the hospital in which they practice:
https://www.healthgrades.com/
PG hospital is not closed but they moved to another location within the county. You can also visit www.mooreobgyn.com for more enquiry, they use holy cross hospital.

@ goddessfil thank you so much for your response. I am not in the US yet. I have been working on getting a doctor and an hospital for my interview at the embassy. Any further help on the contact details will be very much appreciated. God bless
Depending on the state you intend to have your baby. This website can also help you with your search cos when you find a physician, you are likely to use the hospital where he/she practice.

Contact WES & request to transfer your evaluation to Canadian equivalency quoting your previous reference number. Provide them with an active email address you will be using on WES Canada platform. You will pay for the request & your report will be ready in no time.

First I think you can get a reference letter from the bank introducing you as the sole signatory to the account and from the particulars of directors,it will be shown that you are the sole owner of the business. Write a letter to explain why you do not feel the need to operate a personal bank account. This should work if your business is basically products/Services. Let other Guru in the house follow up with this.

Can a woman who keeps loosing her pregnancy around 5months and feels she can get the best over there be granted visa?
Please what are the procedures?
Thank u
Hello ma’am... I can see you are having problem carrying your pregnancy to full term. Well if you don’t mind, you can chat me up so we can discuss more about your health and possible solution that might help with your pregnancy. You can get a good gynecologist that can manage your condition beyond the critical stage here in Nigeria then you can proceed to the U.S at a later stage to have your baby. Talking from experience though.

I will like to share with you my recent findings on lists of countries that gives citizenship on jus soli apart from the U.S. We have made the perfect decision on securing the future of our children and I pray that we will all reap the fruit of our labour by Gods grace. Let’s not put all our eggs in one basket, Nigeria will be great again someday but there is no wrong in securing the future of our children if we the parents don’t have such opportunity. Good evening guys. Please does anyone know any budget hotel close to the Abuja Embassy.... Feedback will be appreciated

You can try Rommy Guest Inn
Plot 39, Lagos Crescent, Garki 2, Abuja. It’s 5k for an economy room on negotiation and it’s #300 to the embassy on negotiation as well. You can spend #300 as well for Taxi from the Airport to the hotel if you are on budget.

I think when you enter your MRV receipt number, you will be able to select pick up location and after that you see an option if one has been refused in the last 2 months or regular. Choose the applicable option and lists of available dates will pop-up for you to choose.

Hello gurus,
Please if I choose Lagos on d DS 160 as location, can I schedule appointment in abj for interview?
If you’re yet to submit the DS 160, under the location section of your form, you can change the location to Abuja Nigeria there or better still fill a new form if you have submitted the form and you wish to interview in Abuja.

Sorry for the denial but I thought the first question mean how did you got to know about the school and I think the loan repayment part which might be interpreted as your dad can’t fund your education without loan. My thought though.

Predstan:
Good Morning. I got my Visa denied today this morning in Abuja Embassy. I think the International student loan does not sound so good to the VOs. My transcript is thus:

Vo: how did you pick this university
Me: I contacted Prof. Don Morel because his research interest aligns with my professional career goal which is to introduce unprecedented solar technologies in Nigeria which would contribute greatly to the Power sector
Vo: How many Universities u applied to
Me: 6 Universities and I mentioned all of them
Vo: why did you pick d university over others
Me: Because I will be learning from Faculties that have had one or two inventions in their name and the university is also ranked among the only 25 best universities for technology transfer in the US.... (cuts in and caressing my passport)
Vo: How will you pay for this?
Me: I got a student loan from Prodigy finance in London, UK which my dad will be fully responsible for paying back
Vo: what's the worth of the loan?
Me: A total of $50,000

Vo: Sorry I will not be approving your VISA.

Let me know what you think. I will be trying again next year, hopefully I will get an assistantship. I also have an application against next Fall. Can I change my school if I got admitted with funding?

Got into El Paso earlier today.

POE was Atlanta. CBP Officer asked me what I came in for and I said childbirth. He then asked me the process, I told him, find a hospital, get a doctor and be sure you can pay your bill. Asked how much I had and I told him including the fact that I had prepaid part of my bills. He said he won’t be able to check my document because of the long queue and sent me off to secondary inspection. Got there and the new officer checked the doctor and hospital documents (note I’m using Doctoresparati) stamped me in and told me to pay my bills.

This is my second missionary journey via Elpaso but no receipt was asked for my first child.

If you are in ElPaso or InnTown Suites, holla at your girl grin
Team El Paso, I wish you success in all. Ex- team though. 2015 & 2017

This is not a strong reason for choosing a school, Nigerian universities are far cheaper if you are going by cheapness.

Definitely this is not my main reason of choosing the schools but also considered the cost of attendance. I already have 4yrs post secondary education here in Nigeria and I know how the system works. Maybe I have not put my question in right way but I just want information from anyone that is presently a student there or intending to apply there, on how good the schools and environment is for a mum traveling with 2 kids so that I can have a proper planning schedule.
