Christianity Etc › Re: I Don't Feel Like Going To Church: What's Wrong? by Queenisha: 3:08pm On Jul 10, 2008 |
Gamine: i never talked about boredom.
Its just about giving value thats why i would want to join a church group.
i don't feel guilty about not going to church, thats part of the problem i had I guess your "Christian education" at Covenant secondary University did you no good. Looks like your mind is already reprobate. A Christian should long to fellowship with fellow Christians It is called The assembly of Brethren and the Bible tells you not to neglect that fellowship Once that desire is no longer there, you are already in a backslidden state. A word is enough for the wise. |

david is right. Watch all those millionaires and big cats while their being interviewed on TV,their legs are usually crossed. whoever said crossing legs is gay has issues. Didn't they say wearing pink was gay and men as straight as electric poles are now rocking pink like no man's biz. There's nothing gay about leg crossing jo |

aurevoir: Renouncing your Nigerian citizenship is like divorcing your ugly wife.
That's the way I feel since I did exactly that, Now, I feel a sight of relief, It still hurts adding Nigerian educational qualifications to your CV, employers in the West think it's 419. You are a big disgrace. some of us proudly carry our Nigerian and American passports and have done so for years. You think renouncing your fatherland for a British passport (of all things) and talking ill of Nigerian citizenship makes you better than Nigerians It only makes you an insecure human being. were you raised with no self worth? They don't even call you a citizen over there, they tell you you have "stay" How pathetic Even dogs have a stay in their owners residence and you're here opening your brown teeth Accept my sincere sympathy! |

I mean why do people even go to church?? Your pastors sermons all come from other peoples books and TBN, all your problems could be solved by hardwork and medicine, so why do you go to church?
I was in church last sunday because I was bored and needed to entertain myself. And my lord was I entertained. Ess,you need salvation, you heathen! |

ayinba1: Pretending something is not there does not make it go away. There is more than enough biblical references to Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) that have been posted on nairaland. I will not be reposting them, Prophet mo (piss be upon him) is in the Bible alright. In the portion where the Scriptures warns us of false prophets that will arise and deceive many. He fulfilled that prophecy to the "T" please care to show the readers where Mo was specifically mentioned in the Bible |

mekaboy: True love has no Price Tag, Once the girl leaves the carpenter for the rich man, its no more love, because there is no guarantee that she will not go for a richer man. Celien dion siad, LOVE DOES NOT THINK TWICE, IT CAN COME ALL AT ONCE. you don't love with your head u love with your heart. Why do u think they say, ONLY FOOLS FALL IN LOVE, because when your in love u do foolish things. and there is no guarantee the rich man will not go for a poorer girl. What are you saying? Yes we do foolish things when we're in love that has nothing to do with finances. |

If that makes me a bad fellow no problem, at least i will be enjoying my marriage no?
Marriage is 5% love, 95% reality. Flesh and blood did not reveal these things to you. Don't mind these people lying through their gapped teeth Even the 5% love sef is based on reality. Without reality, there is no love. |

davidylan: You can't hanker after what you never had. A poor pepper seller probably doesnt know better, she wont think twice about marrying a carpenter afterall her father was never more than a taxi driver so poverty is all she's known.
Imagine a middle class chic who has seen her friends and elder sisters married with fairly higher standards of living? What love will drive her to marry a carpenter so she can be using a small kerosene stove to cook when her mom always used a gas stove? Gbam!! Her love for her parents won't even let her do such Her mom may die of a heart attack That's where her love must be truly shown. |
