You find MLS wannabes like SLT, Microbiologist, Biochemist who wants to work in an hospital laboratory doesn't make them MLS and never will, you know why? Because the job description and roles are entirely different.

How many MLS wannabes can successfully carry out Microtomy in the histology lab?

How many can successfully carry out LFT, hormonal assay, E/U/Cr test in the chemical pathology lab?

Or read culture plate, process CSF samples successfully in the Microbiology lab?

Not to talk of blood typing, grouping and cross matching or patient bleeding using vacutainers?

Medical microbiology is a branch of medical Laboratory. I have worked in the Lab for quite a while too. So they are very much related.

There's nothing like Medical Microbiology as a course (first degree) except in PGD. Medical Laboratory Science is 5years plus 1 year paid internship before NYSC, okay (7years in total barring strike, lose of accreditation or failure to pass first and second professional exams)

Haematology and blood serology
Histopathology
Chemical pathology
Medical Microbiology
Are all area of specialization in the Medical Laboratory Science profession.

You have to be a licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist to practice for which MLSCN is the regulatory body.

My take on the issue.....
1. I don't think your boyfriend is actually trying to blackmail you per se, if it was a blackmail, he would be requesting for something in return, rather, the correct word to use is EXPOSE!
He wants to expose you.
2. You still have never made mention of confronting the guy that allegedly raped you to help talk to your boyfriend, or threaten to take action against him for raping you, so I strongly feel it's not rape.
3. I don't think he actually threatened to leak the tape, rather it's what your guilty conscience working up overtime.
4. Lastly, you truly don't deserve his love.

But if he truly threatened to leak it.....
1. You can actually threaten to get the school authorities and police involved. That's just the best course of action to take, not by using cultists or voodoo...

2. Dialogue with him, you know him better, I am just sure he's badly hurt, beg him, apologise, come clean with him, or ask what he wants, go with a recorder (incase he wants to really blackmail you so you have proof).

“I was sitting at home and I saw the people on the move and so I came out,” said Cezar Shaaya, an accountant protesting in Beirut. “I am married, I have mortgage payments due every month and I am not working. It’s the state’s fault.”

Throughout Thursday night, crowds gathered in the capital Beirut’s Riad al-Solh square, some waving Lebanese flags and singing.

“The people want to topple the regime,” they chanted. Nearby, dozens of young men on motorcycles circled the main crossroad and set tires on fire, some of them ripping out billboards to toss them into the rising flames.

The protests have been fueled by stagnant economic conditions exacerbated by a financial crisis in one of the world’s most heavily indebted states. The government, which has declared a state of “economic emergency”, is seeking ways to narrow its gaping deficit.

Information Minister Jamal al-Jarrah said ministers also would discuss a proposal to raise value-added tax by 2 percentage points in 2021 and a further 2 percentage points in 2022, until it reached 15%.

But as protests spread across Lebanon, Telecoms Minister Mohamed Choucair told journalists the proposed levy on WhatsApp calls had been revoked.

Hariri had said the measure was expected to net about $200 million in revenue for the state each year. Lebanon has only two mobile service providers, both state-owned, and some of the most costly mobile rates in the region.

Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said the draft budget he had submitted to the Cabinet was free of new taxes and he remained committed to passing a budget without new taxes.

I heard there are ways you can detect if a fetus is SS right from an early stage of pregnancy. If it turn out to be SS then you can get rid of it..until you get an AA fetus then you can let it live..while both of you will still be together and your love unbroken. However,they said this can only be done abroad.I dont know if Nigeria is advance for that kind of thing.well doctors in the house..pls step in, your advice is needed.

As I type this message, my heart is heavy.

Up till today, I have never known my genotype till I went to do medical fitness test for my job/employment process.

I've being dating by girlfriend for about two years and seven months now, and I've always seen her as a perfect match to me, not because she's perfect, but because she's very loyal, reserved and calm, respectful, teachable, willing to learn, beautiful and very supportive to say a few.

You can ONLY continue with her if you are financially buoyant enough. There is a test done to know fetal genotype even before birth, right in the mother's womb called cervical vallus sampling, CVS for short .... Cost around 200-250k...
