Institutionalise the fight or else..... All these me, myself and I cannot work. You simply donot have the resources to stay out there alone. The corruption you fight is hydra headed, better organised, better resourced and is far better at team play.

The first thing FBI founding director did was to select a group of young turks, brilliant chaps out of statewide police departments and gave them marching orders for high profile, dangerous cases. You hardly heard J.Edgar in the media or on stage. This was why he was feared so much even by the President.

It was his boys that brought down the notorious Newyork and Chicago crime syndicates, various mafia families and infiltrated various dangerous left wing underground marxist movements. You simply cannot attempt to do that all on your own and survive for long.

Instead of all these press postulating and meaningless rallies he should quietly build a following, a movement predominantly amongst the youth. Have private teaching and motivational meetings akin to religious outreaches. Slowly build a quantum of backers in all works of life that view the issues your way then he himself will discover he does not need the kind of protection being tossed and turned here.

If the bad guys want him they can just payoff his so called security to do it for them. The smarter way to go about his crusade will be to layer himself with ideology(ists).

NB. J Edgar headed the FBI till death. There was not a person, an act, a congress, a president nor anyone else who could dare touch him. And you could only criticise from the safety of your inner sanctum (after serious debugging). Did he start that way, no. Was it the best, no...but it kept him safe till God called and established the most formidable crime fighting agency known to mankind.

Very reasonable contribution. Besides, this is constructive criticism.
Family / Re: My Wife Is Adulterous: Advice Needed-long Post by QuestSeeker: 10:47am On Nov 26, 2017
@op, I feel your pains and pray that you and your wife can pull through this storm as husband and wife.

However, note the followings:

1. Any man that fvcks another man's wife risks having his own wife bleeped too. Remember that karma is an unforgiving bitch. Have you ever bleeped another man's wife?

2. A research conducted sometimes ago showed that a high percentage of wives who cheated on their husbands did so as a result of the husband having cheated on them earlier in their marriage.

I strongly commend your frankness and disclosure of your own past sex escapades without attempting to paint your wife as the ONLY bad person in this matter.

MY OBSERVATION
Your wife never trusted you after catching you with that used condom even though she feigned forgiveness and that may explain her escapades as you didn't refer to any adulterous act on her part prior to yours.

MY ADVICE
Except you had caught your wife in such situations before she caught you with your hands in the cookies jar, I will advise that you have a heart to heart talk with her and forgive her.

Let her know what the consequences of a repeat occurrence would be. Refrain from having amorous affairs with other women (either single or married) while you are still married to your wife.

And be a good father to your darling son.

Wishing you all the best.

The true test of a good leader is to replicate himself severally.

Please push forward one of your raised men (a youth) and we shall support him.

At 73 and vying for Nigeria Presidency in 2019 is a no-no for me.

Again, Happy Birthday sir, and many happy returns.

Op, I am trying to understand the dilemma you find yourself in; as in not wanting to be the one to give your friend up to the authorities.

However, just know that the life of the young girl is being messed up here. Do you want to live with the guilt of not helping her for the rest of your life? I guess and hope not.

That said, you may want to remain anonymous while you report the criminal (your friend) to the law enforcement agents.

Wish you luck.

You are absolutely right.

Like him or hate him, OBJ is a force to reckon with. And truthfully, any Nigerian politician who ignores him does so at his own peril, so GEJ is on point.

You may disagree with him on his (non)performance in office, but that is another matter entirely.

Even IBB refers to him as 'emeritus general' and he is one man that has contacts all over Nigeria even though the people from his base (SW) disagree with him a lot.

I can only hazard a guess as to why politicians all over seek him as an ally: perhaps he keeps his promises to his political cronies.

The rating of the Nigerian Police Force as the worst in the world is actually an indictment on the whole country as well as the citizens!

The joke is really on us.

As a matter of fact, it is Nigerians that populate the NPF and not Congolese or Ghanaians or some other country's citizens.

The rot in the police force is reflective of the rot in our societal values. We need to retrace our steps urgently.

They are capable. But you have to raise them on commercial feed till about 5-6 weeks first.

Please, don't overmedicate them with vaccines and all that. I am speaking from experience...i mean comparing my experience with someone else that overdrugged them and weakened their natural immune system.

They are naturally strong. Just vitamins and antibiotics in their first few weeks is all they need. And make sure you keep their living area clean and dry. The 3 Noilers I gave my parents since last year December are still living healthy, taking care of themselves in my parents compound.

You can ask any further questions

Thanks for the feedback. If I get you correctly, don't need to vaccinate the birds at all from day old chicks.

most ppl these days marry who they dont love and who they not sexually attracted to. Hence the high rate of cheating.

I do not agree with your submission. The rate of immorality is higher now because of the following:

1. Lost or eroded societal values
2. Civilization and exposure to strange cultures
3. Decrease in our tolerance threshold

In the olden days, spouses were even selected for people so they didn't have the luxury of choosing people they loved or were sexually attracted to.

However, inspite of that freedom of choice the higher tolerance threshold and strong societal values ensured that there was less sexual immorality!

What you people don't understand is that Buhari is nothing without his cousin Mamman Daura. How do you expect Buhari to abandon Mamman (family) who stood by his side since IBB incasaration, through his political failures up till he won the election in 2015?.. The reality is that Mamman Daura is not going anywhere and with Mamman Daura present, Abah Kyari, Lawal Daura, Dambazzau, and other members of the kitchen cabinet (cabal) ain't going anywhere. And if he decides to contest in 2019, he will win.

You will be surprised how badly he will lose. Buhari won based on the goodwill Nigerians extended to him and not because of Daura or any other person that you mentioned or did not mention.

It is sad that the whole cycle is playing out again like it did during GEJ's era. In 2011, GEJ too enjoyed tremendous goodwill but frittered it away like Buhari is doing right now.

Mark my words, Buhari will be shocked!

we realised the course wasnt even the problem but the lecturer 's attitude was .

Like most systems in Nigeria, the educational system is bleeped.

From archaic curriculums to lecturers who believe they must be sadistic to show how powerful they are, to lack of counselling units. I can go on and on.

In saner climes, the lecturer who takes the course will be investigated to find out why a course is termed "dreaded".

Some of these lecturers need to be educated that the failure of their students, in a way, is tantamount to their own failures too.

COMPAQ:
https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/kano-emir-s-firm-dangote-nnpc-to-build-1-1bn-power-plant.html

After all the argument, this article doesn't suggest that it's the FG to build it. It's really a brainchild of Mobil producing in conjunction with Nnpc as JV partners. Means the design and costing would have been done by Mobil. FG doesn't have much stake other than to drop its share of the cash.

Now that's not still to say that it's not inflated, but I know for a fact that the major oil companies tend to overdesign.

I have seen a project costed by an oil major for one and a half times the cost of a smaller player.

All said and done, a few reasons why it Could still be genuinely overpriced.

Logistics - our ports, roads etc are so inefficient that is is really expensive to move equipment around. I saw a few posts comparing with Tanzania, but don't be surprised that Tanzania has a better port and road infrastructure than we do. After all, isn't conotnou port better than Lagos.

Beureacracy - our government processes are so slow and incompetent that any company working in Nigeria would price in the additional risk from delays caused by red tape.

Corruption in govt - to get your licence and permits, you need to bribe much more than almost everywhere else in Africa, not to talk of the world.

High use of expats. - Sadly we don't have people who can Utl lilies the highest technical and technological skills.

Security- the extra cost of security in Nigeria, especially in the Niger delta is very high.

Community-another major issue. Communities sieze equipment until marching ground is paid etc. Another significant cost.

High interest rates

Potential for devaluation of the naira that could impact the project.

There are probably a few more and the truth is that all of these could be a major risk to the project and it will all be priced into the project.

It is refreshing to read your insightful analysis. You took the words out of my mouth.

My brother I need not remind you that Nigeria judicial system operates on the basis of presumption of innocence!

Therefore, to hinge Kanu's non-appearance in court and discharge Abaribe from his liability would mean that Abaribe's team needs to prove beyond reasonable doubt that FG has Kanu's in her custody. That may be a tough call.

The young man called Ymodulus did not exhibit any sense of decorum in his response to the op.

Pray what makes sourcing for tomato from Cameroon a better business model than what this young man just started.

Even if Mark Zuckerberg were to critique this young man's business he would never have tagged it a failure. And the reason is that no business is destined for failure at startup. What kills the business is the lack of competitive advantage or failure to exploit one where it exists.

That said, op always remember that
Business = Sourcing/ Procurement + Production + Warehousing + Marketing/ Sales + Delivery + After Sales Service

In any or all of the subsystems in the right hand side of the equation, you can develop your competitive advantage and transform your business to world-class. There is hardly any business that has not been explored by forerunners but you can always find better ways of doing things.

For instance you can source for nicely designed sandals from relatively unknown makers and brand it while passing on some savings to your customers.

You can develop your competitive advantage in sales/ marketing by making better use of sales funnel and channels than your competitors.

There are several ways to achieve your ultimate goal!

If anyone had said that 'selling friendship' could make anyone a billionaire in dollars, several people would have scoffed at the idea years back!

But ask yourself, "what does Mark Zuckerberg sell'? Even though it may not be obvious to you but he is only selling friendship!

Wish you all the best. And you can always reach out to me or anyone here on the forum to help you with business ideas such as developing your business plans and any other business advisory needs you may have on your way to the top.
