PoliticsRe: We Never Endorsed Tinubu For 2023- Kano Islamic Clerics by QuotaSystem: 2:14pm On Dec 08, 2020
Racoon:
This is how they keep on playing the gullible southerners who offer themselves as their willing stooges.from Awo to Abiola and now Tinubu.
Ctorch:
“There and then some of the clerics that were part of the visit to Lagos were assembled; and Tinubu came with governor Abdullahi Ganduje. “It was one of the clerics, Shehi Shehi who lauded Tinubu for the support he gave Buhari in 2015 which led to his electoral victory. He said we would always appreciate you and return your gesture. “So, it is funny for the media to now report that Ulamas in Kano endorsed Tinubu; some of the Ulamas are not even in support of APC, while some even in APC have their solidarity for others.

Very interesting statement.

While a promise by some of the Kano clerics to reciprocate Tinubu's gesture of support for PMB in 2023 is NOT an endorsement, It is the closest thing to it.

Always read beyond the headlines wink.

abduljabbar4:
Bitterness has eaten too much out of you. You guys thought Zulum was against PMB that's why you guys started celebrating him.

The bitter truth is that Boko Haram of 2015-2020 cannot be compared with the Boko Haram of 202-2015 under Jonathan's clueless leadership. Bombings used to occur almost every week and across all the states in northern Nigeria. In fact, there was a time when almost 50 blasts happened in just one day and in one state (kano).

The kidnappings and banditry is where Buhari has failed but I would pick it over what used to happen in the past. Indeed, we do not miss GEJ. Get over it
Very well said.

GEJ was too clueless and incompetent in security issues for the North to forget.

They have forgotten things were so bad the ineffectual dullard had to postpone the general elections by 6 weeks because of Boko Haram.

Zulum remains a Governor par excellence and he spoke nothing but the truth.

Blind man trying to offer sharp sighted men the gift of sight.

The time you're wasting trying to twist narratives will be better spent rebuilding the political bridges with the North & rest of the country foolishly destroyed by kanu/ipob & their igbo supporters.

On what ground will the North or Fulani support them when they've been in the presidency even more than the Fulanis since 1999?!
The North will support the SW on the very solid grounds that the other alternative are the ipob supporting, gutter mouthed, hatred and bigotry filled Northern /Fulani antagonists.

In addition to the fact that the SW is the only southern region that supported the North and its Fulani candidate in the last election.

It is easier for Shekau to be British PM than for the SE to lead Nigeria in 2023.

Whoever must come to equity must come with clean hands.

If the Yorubas truly want to be fair and preempt the Fulanis, then they should rise above pettiness and selfishness. Common sense should tell them that 2023 should be the turn of Igbos. How would they want to rule again in 2023 when OBJ had 8 years and Osinbajo would have had another 8 years by 2023?? Does it even make sense when the Igbos haven't even been in the presidency since 1999??
SMH!
Common sense should have told the igbos that if they knew they had plans of seeking the votes of Nigerians to rule them in 2023, they should have comported themselves and waited patiently & quietly for their "turn" instead of acting like sore losers trying to bring down the house because their candidate was defeated in 2015.

How would they want to rule when they have spent the last 5 years insulting and attacking other Nigerians and spreading extreme hatred online and through Radio Biafra, particularly against the two biggest ethnic groups with the largest voting populations. How do they expect to suddenly earn their "ewedu afonja & almajiri supporter of APC" votes and support in 2023? Do they lack common sense??

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands (and mouth). If you people continue to fail to understand the rudiments of politics I hope you don't transfer the disastrous, undiplomatic, tactless trait to your next generation.

The only southern Presidency in 2023 is the SW.

Igbos don't really want to break Nigeria, u and I know this, neither do we want restructuring.

All that is just a rallying cry for presidency.

I agree that the strategy back fires, but take it from me no igbo man really wants Nigeria to break, the only reason why the first attempt to breakup happened was because of the circumstances surrounding the second coup.

Igbos are too wise to go and start bombing the little assets in our region, we are too wise to start killing our own people, the insult thing is just the normal thing that happens to someone who is angry and frustrated with u and know he can't do anything to u.

There's a saying sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me.

Igbos are very passionate about Nigeria dont let words deceive u
All this self praise is not what will endear igbos to other Nigerians and secure their votes.

When the SW were angry and frustrated over Mko, why didn't they go on a hate campaign?

When will you realise your strategy isn't working? Only a mad man does the exact same thing over and over again expecting a difference.

Words don't break bones? Lol. Tell that to the dozens of ipob youths that have lost their lives in the course of following Kanu's instructions. Tell that to the northerners & security agents killed by ipob members in Oyigbo. Tell that to the millions of Nigerians across the country that will not vote an Igbo due to IPOBs senseless campaign of extreme hatred, bigotry and propaganda.

PoliticsRe: APC Leaders At War Over 2023 Presidency, Zoning by QuotaSystem: 4:44pm On Nov 29, 2020

Every body has a struggle and their way of doing it.

The SE instead of starting a violent campaign just like Niger delta militants did or Boko Haram is doing right now, they took it online and tried there best to make it peaceful, instead of shooting guns they shoot insults, instead of kidnapping people as part of the struggle they attack the person's social media handle, instead of raidind and burning villages they hold a seat at home.

To me that's the best form of struggle anybody can engage in, it's far better than killing people.

The fact that we choose not to kill and mail and bomb people like others, shouldn't that be enough reason to at least support these people who have been in a struggle for years yet refused to drag Nigeria to violence.

Do u know what will happen if a war is going on in the north east and one erupts in the south east?

What will happen to Nigerias image and struggle?

We must not all always wait for people to take up arms before we do the right thing
Unfortunately that strategy is clearly weak, ineffective & self defeating since not only does it take you as far as possible from achieving secession, it also horribly destroys Ndigbos political capital and their ability to attain the Presidency which is one of the core reasons for the agitation as your earlier admitted.

Very weak, ineffective & self defeating way to execute a struggle.

1999 was sure southeast slot, based on the fact that during the military time SW ruled,

But to pacify southwest based on mko abiola they went and brought obasanjo out of nowhere and gave him president.

They can pacify southwest and everybody allows but lets pacify southeast all hell wants to let loose
There is a fundamental issue you're missing in your laborious attempts to compare the SW 1999 political situation with that of the SE today.

The SW in their bid for Presidency after Abiola had been denied his mandate and killed, never engaged in a mindless campaign of hate, threats and insults against the entire country. Their mouthpiece Radio Kudirat fought dictatorship & military rule in alignment with the desire of Nigerians and did not become an outlet for extreme hatred, bigotry & propaganda. Very unlike the SE that did so through ipob & radio biafra which enjoys widespread support in the region as demonstrated through compliance with Cownu's instructions like sit at home & support among some elites including a serving Senator of the Republic, among others.

This is what makes it excruciatingly difficult for the SE to win the votes of other Nigerians at this time unlike the SW that enjoyed national sympathy due to MKO and secured the all-SW tickets & won votes across the country.

There is no intense hatred for any party in the SE.. the hate is on incompetence because it affects everyone.. you fail to understand that the lower the political capital the more honest and truthful one is. The AD was more vocal and growth oriented than the APC today.. you should clamour for a low political capital region to lead.. we saw an example with GEJ and his globally acknowledged ministers.. except you are not in it for growth.
What YOU fail to understand is that you cannot support GEJ and claim to hate incompetence. That is an oxymoron. GEJ was as clueless and incompetent as they come along with his thieving ministers apart from Adesina so you can only fool yourself and your likes.

I will never clamour for a politically tactless region to lead because apart from the fact that you're total failures in governance as can be seen from your 5 failed low IGR S/Eastern states governed by Ibos for the last 21 years....you also must earn the political favours of millions of Nigerians across the country that you have insulted and threatened for the past 5 years through IPOB and its several online urchins thereby foolishly burning the critical bridges you're now trying to erect.

That SE option has already been tested on a smaller scale in Abia and other SE states and we all know the result.
