0m0nnakoda: You are a liar
What do you mean by saying he was given the award by "bankers themselves "
That is simply untrue. The award was from an obscure magazine
Like similar risible awards in Nigeria it would not surprise me if money changed hands.
"Chosen unanimously"
By whom?. You call The Banker - a publication of The Financial Times of London...an obscure magazine? You are just filled with hatred and prejudice to the point of sounding mindlessly ignorant. I rest my case. |

0m0nnakoda: Rubbish His so called intelligence is self promotion We heard more in the media about Sanusi in one month than we heard about Soludo or Emefiele in their entire tenure. When you watch a football game and you notice the referee more than the players something is wrong. CBN governor s around the world are known for reticence and obscurity not winning bogus Man of the year awards. Why should a referee win man of the match award? I have seen nothing to show Sanusi as more intelligent than average. Is he as intelligent or knowledgeable as Ezekwesili? He went to Kings College around the same time as Saraki and was not outstanding in anyway. He speaks English with a cultivated access but that is an issue of social class in Nigeria not intelligence. If you grew up in Ikoyi in the 70s you would sound like him even if you didn't attend university There are millions of more intelligent Nigerians who cannot get a job because of background You are grossly misinformed. The award Sanusi won is WORLD CENTRAL BANK GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR awarded by bankers themselves and not man of the year, which rubbishes your accusation of self promotion and claim that central bankers are known for obscurity. Hogwash.Excerpts: Editor of the magazine, Mr. Brian Caplen, noted in the 2011 January edition of The Banker, billed to be distributed at the World Economic Forum, Davos, Switzerland, that a few candidates' names can generate an overall consensus on judging panels and yet, when it came to finding the best global central bank governor of the year, Sanusi was chosen unanimously.https://www.proshareng.com/news/People/Sanusi-Named-World-s-Best-Central-Bank-Governor/12852

First of all, there's nothing like "South resources". Nigerian resources are what are being spent to secure the country. Not that I support the terrorist rehabilitation nonsense. Secondly, if power in the North couldn't stop cultism, ritual killings, human skull mining, suicidal drug trafficking and other insanities in the South then I doubt if anything (except good quality leadership from any region) can stop violent crime nationwide. Sweeetheart: will the power back to south stop using south resources to takecare of bokoharam, bandits and Fulani herdsmen repentants?
will it stop the religion violence and intolerance of average northeners
we are talking about sanity, you're talking about politics. how can one enjoy true form of politics with scarcity of sanity? |

I really am not familiar with this brand of stupidity you're alluding to. Stop being so marklessly presumptuous. |

I blame the naive south that allow grabbing of their respective areas to North
as far as I'm concern if a southern president want restructuring, he knows how to lobby the North central Lol who are the "North Central"? Where do their allegiances lay? Niger? Nassarawa? Kogi? Ilorin Emirate? Anyways good luck |

Sweeetheart: North doesn't have problem with Tinubu as people have been speculating
North are only scared a southerner president might push for restructuring because they know the implications, their allies in Southern Nigeria coming up with Amotekun made them to be more feeling insecure because Yoruba sudden change in Amotekun establishment really made them feel imbalance politically, that's why you see some supporting south president and some against it. Tinubu understand northerners feelings hence is neutrality on Amotekun
As far as 2023 is concern, north is totally confused "Totally confused"? Absolutely wrong. What you failed to realise is that restructuring is only possible through the National Assembly where the North retains the clear majority. Think again. |

Racoon: And how have the exclusive right of producing most of Nigerian presidents by the core north helped the cause of the region itself & the country as a whole? It's not the same shithole since 1966? So Bleep you all power mongers. The answer is why you cannot militarily secede by force even if your life depended on it. It is why the North still has the best public infrastructure (roads, rails, dams, airports, dry ports, govt facilities etc) . Northern political dominance is however not the reason why Aba resembles a pig's shithole or why your youths are stuffing their intestines with chemicals daily to escape the region only to get slaughtered in Asia. Don't get it twisted. |

TheApologist: is anything wrong with him replacing Dakuku with a Southerner? Any time the tenure of a Northerner expires, the person gets replaced with another Northerner but a Southerner must always be replaced with a Northerner. Where is the equity, Buhari is too nepotic, lopsidedness in his appointments is glaring even to the blind so just shut it up with your lame defense. You shut up with your baseless tripe. The worst form of arrogance is the type rooted in grand ignorance. A few recent appointments :
(a) Nigerians Communications Commission (NCC) - Prof. Adeolu Akande (South West) replaces Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye (South West) as Chairman, Board of Commissioners (b) Mr Uche Onwude (South East) replaces Senator Ifeanyi Godwin Ararume (South East) as Non-Executive Commissioner (c) The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST); Dr Ismail Adebayo Adewusi (South West) replaces Barrister Bisi Adegbuyi (South West) as Postmaster General/CEO... Besides where is the new Head of Civil Service Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan from? Zamfara? Daura?
Did she not succeed a fellow southerner (Ekanem Oyo Ita)? You are free to wail your head off for all I care, but don't pollute my mentions with any more hypocritical, pedestrian, thoughtless mumbo-jumbo. |

Nels55: Presidency should go to South East otherwise North East will have it on platter of gold.
APC Northern elders and youths understand that without strong support of SW by the south, they will eventually submit power to PDP who will be presenting a Northerner from NE...
NE, SE, SS, ME and even core NW will vote for the Northerner, this is the political reality...
APC should sit and find a noble person from SE and solve this puzzle once and for all.. Any APC member from the SE is free to contest, but he will be weeded out @ the primaries in harvest of what the region has sowed in & against the party. P.S I am core NW but I am voting for a southerner come 2023 & I'm not alone. |

Buhari has agreed that Fayemi or Osinbajo should get the ticket with Elrufai as president.
While Fayemi or Osinbajo will be figure head if they win, Elrufai will be the de facto president.
Surrounded by the Fulani cabals, if the figurehead dares do anyhow, it will be cut off.
The underlying factor is the Fulani Agenda. The don't want it truncated anymore.
Of course, Elrufai will take over after the southern pseudo-presidency.
