rhymz: @Onijogbon,190 and Igbogirl, There's a very big difference between typographical errors and an obviously flawed grammatical construction which shows an utter lack of both writing skills and understanding of the language. You lots think I did'nt see my own typographical errors? Damn! How old are U guyz?I left it like that on purpose in anticipation for this but I underestimated the lots that will fall as victims to it. Anyone of you that thinks am a dunce like the poster can engage me intellectually or better still cut my post in bits and slices and then flaw it on the basis of it's grammatical construct. If not, then am going to say it again but this time no typos; @Poster, "Whoever taught U english should be shot dead" pls tell us d meaning of typo |

Romance › Re: Why Do People Cheat In Relationships? by r231(m): 3:25pm On Oct 08, 2009 |
People cheat because they are unfilled in their relationships. Men will do it for less substantial reasons than women, while women will usually do it because they feel ignored by their men. Men will separate a meaningless fling from the girl they actually want to be with. With women, they usually do it for more serious reasons. |

I would have to agree that I would be concerned if some one lied to me about their profession but it depends on what their real profession is. If they were some spy/secret agent for the government, I would forgive that because their life can be in severe danger if everyone knew.
However I would actually be very curious as to why she lied about her profession. Most people dont and arent embaressed to say if they work at supermarket or something because the economy sucks any way. |
Romance › Grounds For Breaking Up? by r231(op): 2:25pm On Oct 08, 2009 |
Scenario:
You are involved with someone that you absolutely love and care for and vice versa for nearly a year. You can see a future with this person.
Then, one day, by accident, by chance, without the person knowing, you find out that they lied about their profession and education. You're floored and can't understand why.
I'm not talking about a fib that's said during a first or second date. I'm talking about out-and-out lying about going to some such school and had some such prestigious profession-- not saying it once or twice, but saying it fairly often. And you've told your parents, closest family members, and friends when they asked those questions about him.
Would you break up with this person?
How would you even approach the subject, if you were trying to give the person an opportunity to come clean without going on the attack/cornering?
Is such an opportunity even worth it after all the lies?
PS: Its not me just a discussion |
