Good Day,

I am a Nigerian youth with an entrepreneurial mind but faced with the fact that my invention may be copied, stolen or hijacked in the process of looking for funds and or support.

I am yet to register the company name and other formalities as this requires me pitching to potential partners that would be included in the business registration and share allocation.

Kindly advise on the steps to take in order to patent, copyright and or trademark my invention before pitching to potential partners and sponsors.

My email address is eagleyerola@gmail.com

They extort a lot of money from travellers especially first timers illegally. They sell fake yellow cards.
Politics / Functions Of Nigeria Local Govts And Their Chairmen by Raahym(m): 3:16pm On Aug 27, 2015
I have tried over the years to be oblivion to the fact that the current Nigerian state is nothing but a mere joke but recently i am beginning to feel a sense of belonging considering the rate at which our president Rtd Major General Muhammad Buhari is handling the affairs of the state.

This got me thinking though, can he do it alone without the support of the required executives we call State Governors and Local Government Chairmen, as it stands they really do not do anything in my view and would want the present government to look into the affairs of the Local Government Chairmen for a proper review of their jurisdictive powers and legislative control of their immediate environment.

We have a lot of drainages (gutters), roads and other amenities that are suppose to be in the care of the local government as the arm of government closer to the people but currently what we have is a high level of degradable roads, non - functional drainages and other amenities. No parks for the children to play and grow, no basic education, no good medical facility, these local government chairmen are just figure heads there to make money and leave after their tenure, they never add any value to their local govt.

Please i stand to be corrected if my opinions are biased and unreasonable, they are not in anyway helpful to their immediate environment and i think it is high time the federal government and the legislative arm of government look into their affairs and see a possible solution, that will either make them productive or get them scrapped cos they have not been useful and i do not see them as being there for the ordinary men and women of the community to have the government closer to them.

The state at which they make money is enormous and yes when it comes to responsibilities they say, it belongs to the Federal Government and neglect it but yet they make money on the said path. i.e. Apapa Oshodi Express Way all the way from Liverpool in Apapa the local government makes a lot of money even from Trailers and Trucks passing and loading but yet this is a Federal Road and nothing can be done to fix it by them. Same as the road that goes to Costain, Alaka bridge coming from Apapa (point road junction) its in a deplorable state but the Local Governments make a lot of money from there but yet its a Federal Road and considering this road leads in and out of the Nigeria's foremost Port its a shameful thing to admit.

Your comments and opinions on this is highly welcomed.

God Bless Nigeria.

Dear VO,

Thank you so much for the good work. However, i will like your help. I posted here a while ago and you replied with a very positive response. Though a remained positive but after a long wait i had to go and request for more information and my passport because of the current hostility against foreigners in South Africa but to my dismay my visa was rejected the same day and was told i can still re-apply even when my purpose was official and money was paid by my company for the conference which i did not get to attend.

Please i would not mind if you could help look it up if i have been banned from applying for the US visa as this is my 3rd refusal in 3 years plus the 2002 refusal which i totally and honestly forgot to include when asked about been refused US visa in the past and i answered "NO" but with all honesty event took over my mind and i do not intend "to deceive" the Consular officer.

Please i will like to know this so that i can use a lawyer to fight same and reclaim my right.

Thank you and anticipate your response. raheemk(at)hossportsintl.com

HI mevisbleek.

Please re-confirm the below, did you say the banks do not release any other information relating to anyones account apart from the names, account number, domiciled branch? cos recent argument and people around the world believes the banks do release more than these informations and they even go as far as releasing the balances and transactions. They even said the embassies fax through the copy provided by the applicant to bank for comparison and when they do the banks respond through the same means. Please help do further checks on this.

mevisbleek:
@eveyone i ve worked in a bank before, yes embassy calls d bank quite alright, they only ask if the accout is domicile in a particular branch, ask for the account number and account holder and also ask when the account was opened, noting like hw much is in d account, it is not possible to tell the embasy hw much a customer has in his account, it is never done, it is against the law and ethics of banking, meanwhile they call d head office to verify all this.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are writing on behalf of Mr. Raheem Kuye O. who has been an employee of HOS Sports Resources since 2009 and has earned the position of a Senior IT staff. He has informed the organization on the outcome of his Non-immigrant visa application on the 4th of March,

In the event of the above we have decided to intervene by further asking for clarification on the attached form 221(g) (herewith

We do appreciate a feedback and further advise on same.

Hmm, it kind of looks like the officer forgot to specify exactly what's going to happen next. I'd advise you to forward that document to contactus_en_ZA@usvisa-info.com and ask them to ask the Consular officer for clarification. Maybe point out that under "Other" the options are "without further interview" and "case requires further interview," and the officer did not check either box, so it's unclear what the next steps are.

Hello Justwise and other GURUS,

With utmost respect and appreciation i seek your assistance in shedding more light to my situation on the subject matter (Section 221(g) of the United State Immigration act and as it affects my application. I am a married man with a 5 year old girl child. I applied for a US student visa on 2002 and was refused (God knows i have forggotten why) and since that time i have never attempted any visa until 2009 when i got an offer of employment from a sport management firm in SA and i moved there then later took my wife and child with me in 2011. We travelled to the UK in 2013. We tried applying for a US Visa Visa in 2013 and 2014 as tourist but we were refused do to loss of memory on my side as i did forgot to mention that i was refused in 2002 and this counted against us in 2013 and 2014 i suppose.

Later, I got a Schengen Visa to attend an IT conference in Poland which also gave birth to our securing another Schengen Visa for my Family to visit France for the 2014 December holidays to resume work in January 2015.

Without further Ado, i was approved from work to attend a conference in the United Kingdom on IT and i applied alone again for the US visa only to be given a blue form (Form 221(g) herewith attached) that i will be called upon that further verification/investigations needed to be done on my case and this makes me so concerned as i do not know what this really means.

Please i implore you to further explain as to what and why this might be happening in my case and what outcome should i expect. The form is attached.

#ThinkLikeTheVisaOfficer @Raahym everything you've said shows you intend to run away. I can tell you the key denial points already:
1) Relationship to the inviting party
2) Financial circumstances
3) Ties back home
4) Travel history
I suggest you start work first, get a bit of income then treat yourself to a holiday.

@theforce, you don't seem to understand my predicament and you have made 1 wrong judgement and other errors in response to my message. If i wanted to run away i would have done so the first time i had the opportunity with my whole family a six month multiple visa and subsequently have gone to a schengen territory and most recently i have another schengen with my family. So i presume this is enof travel experience and brother i do have my own business that's thriving but like every other businesses sometimes you dont have enof money sitting in your account. This is the basis of my question which justwise as answered correctly but you, what did you do? jumped to wrong conclusion and judged wrongly. Go back and read through my messages and justwise response then you will understand. There is invited person here in my case maybe you cant even read well i suppose.
