nurey: Your last life line is Radautoworks, but compressor are pretty pricy generally. she should be able to get one since the ES is a US model Why do you do this? I'll most likely have it in stock but you know if they are considering manual they are not going to like the price |

rationalmind: Even brand new engines that have gone through hours of rigorous testing have turned out to be defective. It's a used one that can't have issues?
Besides, if that engine has a zero probability of being defective was you would have us believe, it won't have a return policy. If it has a return policy, then there's a probability of failure no matter how small it is.
So I ask again, who bears the cost of logistics and shipping IF the engine turns out to be defective. Whatever you say, you are right |

rationalmind: Who bears the cost of logistics and shipping if the engine turns out to be defective? I'm looking at two separate shipping costs. The cost of returning the defective engine plus the cost of sending another unit. You missed my point. The engine is pretty much guaranteed to be good. No return needed. |

nakoks: Worse advice,it is easier and cheaper to buy that engine in trinity or ladipo ,except you are a parts seller. Please explain how it's cheaper when she is shipping a car, yards over there sell TESTED motors with return policies and the ones you get in Ladipo are the rejects that don't pass testing overseas? |

halima83: I contacted some parts sellers and have not gotten back to me yet. Do you have an idea on the cost of the engine? Please don't tell me you're the one bought the car! Is something seems too good to be true it usually is. If you're lucky it's just valve seals. If not, that car needs it's engine rebuilt or a new engine. Why would you buy it without responses to your question? If you want to get into buying and selling cars be prepared to partner with a mechanic who can actually go check the cars and give you an estimate BEFORE buying it. I can't give you an engine price because we don't sell engines we rebuild. |

xcitedjay: Your car shorting oil and smoking means the oil is sipping out from your rings and/or seals, so using a lighter oil now would only worsen the already bad situation. And 5w30 oil are much more expensive than the conventional motor oil.
See https://www.firestonecompleteautocare.com/maintain/oil/types/ This statement is incorrect. There is 5w30 conventional oil |

theyongest: Thanks. I however noticed something yesterday morning and this morning that driving from sangotedo was problematic (switching gears at every stop) but the problem seems to go away from around jakande. I drove to lekki and back to chevron yesterday morning without any drop. Today, I'm sure it was from around Chisco that I drove all the way to oyingbo wothout any drop. This looks like its transmission temperature sensitive. What do you think sir? To things. 1) scan car again using a different scanner. If it's temperature related it should throw codes 2) drain and refill fluid |

Vehicle is Honda Accord V6 2008 The good news, check your engine oil. That should take care of the first one. The bad news, you need new catalytic converters. Let us hold hands and mourn because they are not cheap. |
