I think you'll still be disappointed with just a brake pad change.

There's more to an effective tingle behind the eyes braking power than the pads. The calipers, booster, and fluids all play an integral part.

If you do the research you might find that the brake system from say an S2000 might be a direct ish fit and will give you tons more braking power.

Correct. If your going to use premium pads, you would need premium rotors, calipers, etc which is why I said it was overkill. I assumed that's what he had.

Are you implying that Bosch make those pads and rotors for only tuner 05 accords? I've seen them on bosch site and there isn't anywhere on the site that listed them for tuner accords....

I'm saying it's overkill for that car IMHO. If it was bmw, mercedes or the like I would spend the money but I wouldn't put it on accord unless I was driving it really hard.

I was remarkably confused when I first read this. I had never heard of Mercedes W class. Turns out it was the E Class Chassis designation. You learn something new every day. Is it possible to get the VIN of the car? The catalog doesn't have W's.

I have learnt the lesson on this one; I only buy Belgium bulbs! I have the eye to tell the ones that still have A-grade filaments. All the Chinese bulbs are no good. They will die on you and when FRSC stops you you will almost swear that the bulb is still working!

But we have to be specific. The first 3 years is direct and free replacement, no questions asked. The last two years is still replacement but with a prorated charge.

Interstate Batteries offer 4 years on some of their top line AGM stuff.

Just a word of caution to the OP. All you had to do was take it somewhere competent for diagnosis. Any reputable place would have known immediately it had nothing to do with the transmission. It is a guessing game when diagnosing a car sight unseen.

You learned a valuable lesson about trying to be cheap up front. Take it to a reputable place with warranties and your problem would have been solved weeks ago.
