Please what oil do i use for Toyota land cruiser 1996 model transmission?my car uses 6 litre of oil and I want to buy the Castrol Gtx but its only comes in 5 litre gallons,can I use another oil to make up the 1 litre difference since I can't buy 2 gallon for oil change?

This is a question for BMW SUV owners or BMW specialists.

I currently use Castrol (aka Castor Oil) for BMW X5 04 but the engine oil is scarce as its original is only available at the head office in VI. I'd like to switch to one that's of the same quality and widely available at different outlets.

So my question is what is the best engine/motor oil to use for the BMW X5 2004 version?

Recently got messed up by fire out break from my hood and need the estimate of this following items for my Honda civic 2007.

1. Engine complete wire

3.front bumper
4. Complete fuse box ( relay and fuse inclusive)

Any dealer in the east with no inflated price got me on this after laying out a full estimate.

Fantastic initiative OP. It is my hope that businesses such as yours will continue to spring up and grow in Nigeria. The prevalence of substandard parts and subpar skills is saddening, especially for a country of that size and potential.

As already mentioned by some, the road will not be easy.
knowing my Naija, there will be challenges with manpower ( not just skillwise but orientation wise ) it is not easy to find hardworking and honest hands who buy into your dream and share your vision.

Also, Consumers are largely ignorant and it will take alot to help them understand that the lower-priced option is not always the cheaper option, in the long run.

One thing is for sure....There are a good number of people willing and able to buy Quality and Pay Premium ... You just need to reach the right target market.

exactly!! and someone planning to buy a reg used 02 camry cannot pay more than 10k for off-site inspection. so it's more like a trade off..... how many people are willing to buy the range and how many are buying the Camry. so for a premium service such as the one op is offering, he has to limit his portfolio to the high-end individuals and if he wants to revolutionalize Nigerian he might have a separate structure that will take care of other low and middle cadre requests.


but wait, catering for only high end individuals will result in very little traffic but mega deals per engagement and prolonged turnover

catering for lower cadres will result in faster turnovers, more profit, heavy traffic etc
but this would also involve stocking inferior parts which will negate the original intent of the biz as emphasized by op in her opening speech.

oh well, I'm sure op has taken into cognizance all these points before now and has a well thought out plan to mitigate all risks involved

We discussed this on another thread and it is a very important business insight.

Someone was complaining that he charged N10K to go offsite to do a vehicle inspection. I will charge that for a limited onsite vehicle inspection. Offsite is at minimum N25K.

It's all about the demographics being marketed to. If you can afford a N5M Range Rover then you can afford a N25K inspection, as an example.

I like being blunt when conversing... so....
if it is to take Nigeria and Nigerians to the next level in terms of automobiles (repairs and parts) then u are highly welcome but if profit is the initial and Main aim, then u might be looking at a very looooong thing; probably the tower of Babel.

I love the initiative, it's a nice and welcome one and I will probably become ur grand patron.... but problem is, the average Nigerian is ever poor and discontent in "his" own eyes. u might need to compensate for the lack of traffic/ volume of transactions by focusing on customer profiling and merchandise tailoring. To suit the average Nigerian car owner won't be easy, else u might never break even. I'm sure this service will not be cheap and easily affordable in the minds of the many potential customers that will be attracted...
