My point is this,instead of donating to a failed political class,why not take it up and build these structures,run, maintain it religiously the way we preach,our people are in dire need of these medical services

Christians in nigeria,we specially thank the churches,pentecostals,authordox, individuals,firms and people of goodwill who have donated to FG on the fight against covid19,i write this message to christians especially the churches who have displayed this kind gesture in a time of need and hunger in the land,but i have to speak up and say i am disappointed with all and sundry especially the churches who have so far contributed to this scourge,
1)THE POLITICIANS:its no longer news that the nigerian politicians have failed the populace and its citizens,most if not all the medical centres spread across the country are in such a messy and dilapidated state,not befitting of animals,most are just mortuaries operating as medical centres,doctors,nurses are either underpaid or are being owed months of unpaid salary or arrears leading to ill motivated workers in a very dirty and unkept health facility which is a pointer to the fact that these politicians dont give a hoot about the health of the citizens.
2)THE CHURCH especially the orthordox,catholics,anglicans and others:it is with deep regret and anguish i learn that some have joined the bandwagon to make some donations to FG on the fight against covid19,its very clear the political class has failed which is being exposed by this pandemic especially in the health sector,my question is,WHAT HAS THE CHURCH DONE FOR ITS POPULACE?,especially in the south where majority are christians and religious church goers,if a church can contribute in excess of 50m in cash to FG for an issue the political class has failed to address for more than 50years of government with lies and counter lies on the failing of the health sector by different political parties,its all down to the church,it means the churches have millions somewhere in the bank or worth in properties cooling off with no use,i ask again,what stops the churches from building world class hospitals,with excellent facilities as the standards that are obtainable in europe,US,and UK,instead the church leadership also join the political class for medical tourism abroad,the church can do a lot better,build us these hospitals,partner with good and noble individuals as we do for our religious activities,equip it with state of the art facilities,get the best of doctors,the best brains from our universities,both home and abroad,employ our nurses and run these hospitals with the fear of God as we preach,yet we are here donating to a government that has prioritised medical tourism abroad.

2)THE PENTECOSTAL CHURCHES,:Most critics today see them as being personal enterprises,i read in an earlier thread a certain church donated millions of naira to FG too for this fight against the covid19 pandemic,what a misplaced priority,i humbly ask the church leadership,so you have in excess of millions lying fallow somewhere in the bank and yet you keep preaching prosperity and miracle all these years to a hungry and poor populace but when your leadership or daddy G.O falls ill he takes his private jet and flies away to either the UK or US for his own miracle in a well equipped and properly run hospital with diligent and well paid health workers,then when he recovers you come back to the masses here and give testimony to the same people you left behind in their moribund hospitals.
Nevertheless,im calling on the church,the daddy GO s,the bishops,primates,rev fathers, individuals,people of goodwill,its better to be late than be the late,have you ever imagined what a hospital worth of 100m in building and facility can do in our society today,we can do it,if we are sincere about this God we are serving,this is a time to stop medical tourism with the political class,it is time the churches build these hospitals,equip them with state of the art facilities,partner with God fearing NGOs and individuals,subsidise the pay in these hospitals for our people and populace,employ our graduates,the best brains,china did it,UK,US,so what is wrong with us ,why cant we help ourselves by ourselves,the benefits are too numerous,its a medium to spread the gospel,more testimonies of people who are cured of different ailments in these our hospitals built by churches,our mortality rate will be drastically reduced,our young doctors and nurses will be gainfully employed,cleaners,security,gardeners direct and indirect employment will be created,THE TIME IS NOW,STOP THE DONATION TO FG AND BUILD US HOSPITALS,LET THE CHURCH STAND UP AND BE COUNTED FOR ONCE,BISHOPS,PASTORS,DADDY GOs,PRIMATES,EVERY RELIGIOUS LEADER SAY NO TO FOREIGN MEDICAL TOURISM AND STOP THE DONATION TO THE GOVERNMENT AND TAKE CHARGE.IMPOSSIBILITY THEY SAY IS NOTHING.
