Obviously someone or some people are lying, but I don't think OBAMA WOULD RISK HIS ENTIRE FUTURE AND CAREER BY STAGING AN OSAMA GIMMICK!!! He'll be buried by his enemies in a year!! Look guys, I know some things can look too fantastic to believe, but for once, let's just take things at their face value. If Osama died last year from kidney failure, or three days ago by US shooting him down, what matters is HE'LL NEVER WALK THIS EARTH AGAIN!!! |
BABE!:Ouch!! Trust you to fire the first shot . Yeah, from what guys tell me, they find girls with nice dark skin more attractive, and even smarter than the fair ones they've dated. I'm talking really dark here, not caramel or nutmeg or even cocoa . These guys like 'em black!! Lol, even the beauty contests and modelling shows going on in Nigeria these days, focus on black beauty. I haven't seen a fair-skinned Miss Nigeria in years!! And guess what - even Obama married a dark-skinned black chic ** and she's smart as hell*** ![]() |
Gosh Cork is just winding us up with another one of his dark skin topics. Obviously he's fixated on dark skinned women. All the guys I know are dating dark-skinned girls, I just noticed that. Went to a party last weekend and almost NONE of the girls were light -skinned. It freaked me out . I guess really fair chicks are going out of fashion, or maybe they're facing extinction. What ever the case, from what I hear, dark-skinned chicks are sexier, more intelligent, and generally are better looking. Ok now shoot me ![]() |
aloy/emeka:Well, these designers are paid a lot to make stars look good; they're NOT supposed to make such mistakes as a dress their client can't even walk in!! Beyonce must have trusted them so much that she probably didn't do more than try the dress on for size, and not movement. Then on the big day it was too late to wear something else. Anyway both of them are at fault. |
He looks more like he was beaten up and not shot in the face . Or did the soldiers rough-handle him a bit just to revenge, lol? THEN they shot him?? The pic looks real sha. But technology can do anything these days. He might be alive somewhere kept for questioning. Americans are smart as hell, trust me. |
michelin89:Yeah, the song is too self-indulgent and almost childish, lol. It would have suited a younger performer better. And she seems to love a lot of make up, which has a downside of making her look older. Hence the confusion over her real age. |
I blame the stupid designer! And Beyonce too for not trying out the dress before wearing it to a fashion event!! The photographers were really mean just because she didn't stand long enough for them to take more photos!! Is it by force to be "paparazzied"?? It's obvious they don't really like her if not why do they need to "boo" over something she obviously had no control over? I guess they'd have been happier if she fell flat on her face!!! |
Lol guys haven't you heard of women who cling to their husband's name even AFTER divorce? I think some women come across as oppoortunists sometimes: if their father's name is more useful, they keep it. And if they're lucky to marry a man with a more reputable name, then they proudly take it. This smacks of selectiveness for personal gain, and it's not a very good look, trust me. I'd advise the proponents of the hyphenated names to rethink their motives and how opportunistic they appear to the outside world! |
Lol, yeah it's all over the internet . Lady's got groove . Now you see why Obama fell in love with her . Everyone's having a crush on d Obamas right now, they're so COOL ![]() |
Wow darqly, I love that "willing to chart OURS (lineage) - put this way, women should be happy to "discard" their maiden names and proudly accept their hubby's - after all it's the same name her kids will take. Can't imagine going to my kids school and introducing myself as Mrs JFK when my kids' surname is LBD . Besides my maiden name is too effing long (though well known n respected). Why the heck would I want to "hyphenate" THAT?! Lmao, I'm even impatient to change it. However, I can always mention my maiden name WHEN NECESSARY but will NOT keep it above my husband's. My dad made his own name, it's about time I made mine, abi?? Lol |
PhysicsMHD:This thread will get to a 100 pages yet NOONE will agree that the other is right. As for me, I look to history for my own point of view; I also look to the here and now. And in the here and now, all the greatest men in the world have wives who kept their husband's names. I know when Chelsea Clinton got married, she didn't stay Chelsea Clinton even though that name rings gongs. So which African daughter of the soil wants to keep her father's name should ask herself what she's going to lose, and what she wants to gain?? SMH |
My friend if you aint getting it after two whole years, then you're NEVER gonna get it. She might be speaking the truth, however, if you haven't been able to break thru in 24 months, just give up, haba. Because very soon she'll leave you for a more aggressive suitor ![]() |
Gosh you guys should chill out ok!! Kate already told us she decided to go easy on her looks for the wedding because "she wanted William to recognise her when he saw her""!! I guess she felt too much make up or bling will make him not see her as the girl he fell in love with. She could have gone all glamour to please the hungry viewers (like me ) who love a bit of glitz --- but she chose to look simple to appeal to her simple groom. Can't you see the guy is like his father and has no swagger . Kai, if Diana was alive |
Those who keep their names are no better than those who decide to change to their husband's - and vice versa. Do what makes you happy but always ask yourself, am I in some way hurting my partner by choosing to keep my father's name - or is my hubby hurting me by not letting me keep which ever name I choose? Women with all their feminism should never hold their own feelings above those of others (whom they claim to love - or why else did you get married??). |
orbaxy:Osama dey rest at the bottom of the sea now . Wetin e want do for here ?? |
BABE!:OK, cool . The guy too dey form jare ![]() pro01: Kunbee:Lol, you guys should chill! I think she's naturally pretty. Okay her face stretches in length a bit but I think it's ok, a bit better than being swollen like Sasha's . I beg no vex oooh, I was never a Sasha fan so I'm indifferent to their broken relationship. Guy obviously went for the OPPOSITE of Sasha: Nicole is slim, light-skinned, and not in the music business. Looks like the kind of girl you can take home to mama . Horse-face or not ![]() |
Mr, Cork:omigosh . How does this fellow THINK of these one-liners?? Ay the comedian a'int got nuthin on you !!! Lol ![]() chic2pimp:Really?? Lmao. Well the original term used to be "crazy Americans" but you British are quickly taking over that life-long title ![]() |
Tosinville:I wonder oooh, my post no survive up to ten seconds before e disappear . |
adamsrib:Good one!!! What's the point of the ceremony if the name stays the same, lol?? I love the idea of the new status and thus a new name, however for those who feel strongly about their maiden names, they can go ahead but I think that everyone should make a name for themselves and stop depending on their patrimony!!! |
@ Tosinville don't mind jaybee ohhh, two out of three of my posts on this thread have been deleted . Na waoooohhh |
Today it's Blackberry, tomorrow it will some other gadget/phone. So guys should gird up bc this is just a sign of the times, a messed up economy is turning girls into all sorts of things ![]() |
Gosh fellow! It might've just been the spambot at work again! So u blew all that big gi-rammar for nuthing. Now, apologize to iice ![]() |
Why do some men feel that once the woman says "I do" then she becomes their property, like say they OWN her azz. Anyway ladies do what is right for you and make your husband understand your reasons without causing bitterness. |
jay bee:lol, most of these new movies are just over-hyped and over-stuffed, with no real substance. The directors, producers and especially the actors, are getting jaded ![]() |
lalaboi:Lol, tried to watch it last night, got bored when they re-ran the train scene for the third time. Maybe I'll go back and try and finish it .Meanwhile, also 'tried' to watch The Tourist. Fell asleep during the evening ball scene. I mean like who else thinks that woman is a bad actor?? I mean, really. She can't act her way out of a cardboard box!!! |
Mr, Cork:Priceless Cork ![]() |
spikedcylinder:These British are crazy!!! LOL |
The Pillars of the Earth season I + II. Based on Ken Follet's novel. These are the kind of series I like: historical, rich costumes, richer storyline - not all those vampire and mind-twisting gooblygook ![]() |
