Odin13: Just reading this and I am like, wow. For the first time, a sensible post from you. "Power must return south" or the Asaba declaration as they like to call it was just a way of your ensuring that the south is divided when it came to the presidency. Apc was grooming southerners to take over from Buhari - Tinubu, Osinbajo, Amaechi even in a worse case scenario the Ngiges and Onu's, while the only strong figure in the pdp is Atiku. Tinubu would have flogged and will still flog a Wike in a presidential race who southerners view as a strong figure. It was that straightforward. 1 Like |

desthan: Its more than misleading, its propaganda. The terms have not been established, its not known wheather Saudi will enter into a partnership, wheather they will prvide funds in exchange for something, like nothing is known about the deal yet, Leadership Newspaper has already run to town wailing. Study the report critically and see through the actual views they are presenting. 1 Like |

CLRF: That was the beginning of the mess. Pinnick emerged through dubious means, the government tried to take action and stopped half way. A country, cant recall which took similar steps, was banned for 4 years after which they came back stronger. It would have been a better path than the one we took, today the NFf is a cesspool of corruption and the officials do 'anyhow' because the government can't do anything. |

Zetra7: The beginning of this mess started with pinnick, how he emerged and how he was given a free hand to do as he wished. Today, that culture of impunity and carelessness had tricked down to the very core of the NFF and it will take serious leadership to get it right. |

Black Americans appear to be the 'lab rats' of every vile social movement. Thuggery, pornography, drugs and what not. Atimes it seems as though the influential % in the US bring about dumb, irrelavant issues just to keep the population distracted from real issues of poverty and ignorance. You need to observe how they take the LGTV thing for head. 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: The Relevance Of Yoruba Race To Nigerian's Political Liberation. by Raheeqilmaktoom: 10:07pm On Nov 15, 2023 |
MightySparrow: And you have their best interest at heart, much more than the ones that give them platform and opportunities commensurate with their strength and population, you who chased others from polling booths? Or don't they get rights? at the very least to vote? Similar opportunities that you deny your so-caled 'southern brothers (when you need them, to be discarded after use). Through Buhari's 8 years, a minority northerner was his SGF, against the bourdillion masters wishes atimes. The current SGF was salvaged by Buhari after his devastating loss. Adamawa is today what it is because of the Atiku's, so is Gombe and Bauchi. Dogara became who who is due to Tambuwal, whom your masters lackeys now accuse of betrayal along with numerous others. When will you drop that your infamous double-facedness? |

MightySparrow: Lol, and the only way for northerners to address their politician's 'insensitivity' as you put it is to balkanize themselves and fight each other? In effect giving others (Like yourself) who never wished them good the opportunity to destroy them? How will the Yorubas treat their own politicians insensitivity? By denigrating the thrones of Ife and Ibadan and displaying an every man for himself attitude? Just be straight forward for once in your life. 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: What If Biafran Successfully Seceded After 2 Years into the war? Part 1 by Raheeqilmaktoom: 11:11am On Nov 13, 2023 |
SuperOnyi: I mean there are tens of books written about the events leading up to and after the war. Achebe's book focused solely on making every action taken by the secessionists and glorifying it, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. You can call the Achebe book a book of self consolation and self victimization. 1 Like |

SuperOnyi: Before reading Achebe's book, what other books did you read? Achebe is an amazing writer, but 'there was a country' was just off the mark, It achieved one thing though - introduce the reader to ibo mindset and pains, not to others who at times were victims of same ibo mindset and views. |

Politics / Re: What Is A Presidential Yacht? Countries With Presidential Yachts by Raheeqilmaktoom: 8:57am On Nov 02, 2023 |
JAMO84: Go and read abeg, the navy has a presidential yatch in its fleet christened NNS Amarya. Apparently, its not presidential enough for 'the lion' who has not been to a stream before. Fun Fact: Buhari's admin was one of best for the military in terms of acquiring of military hardware, the admin can be compared to the best admin since independence on that note. More than 50 air platforms were acquired, hundreds of tanks and MRAPS, multiple naval ships acquired yet, Buhari never thought it fit to acquire a presidential yatch. Obviously, Mr. 'Jagaba' has the military on his front burner. Nonsense and ingredients. 6 Likes |
